Dieses schöne Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern befindet sich auf einem 3 Hektar großen Grundstück am Wasser in East Sooke. Die Unterkunft verfügt über einen Whirlpool und ein eigenes Dock mit umfassendem Service.

1 King-, 1 Queen-, 2 Twin- und ein Queen-Size-Bett auf dem Dachboden machen es zu einem komfortablen Erholungsort für 6 Personen (8 mit Zustimmung des Eigentümers, zusätzliche Gebühren können anfallen). Daunendecken, eingebaute Stereoanlage mit Innen- und Außenlautsprechern, eingebauter Staubsauger, Feuerstelle im Freien, Holzofen im Innenbereich, Whirlpool für 6-8 Personen, Fernseher und DVD / Videorecorder , WiFi, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Grill und Spotting-Teleskop.

Laufstall, Hochstuhl und Kinderspielzeug sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Es gibt eine Hufeisengrube auf dem Grundstück und viel Platz zum Fangen, Volleyball, Frisbee usw. Erkunden Sie die Küste und beobachten Sie das Leben im Meer mit Seesternen, Krabben, Schalentieren, Nerzen, Seeottern und Robben. Wandern, Vogelbeobachtung, Kajakfahren, Walbeobachtung und Angeln in der Umgebung sind ebenfalls fantastisch.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely East Sooke property! It had everything we could have asked for including a first-class view. In fact, while we had originally planned for some excursions and meals out, once we were there we decided we did not want to leave, so stocked up on some necessities and stayed put the whole time. We loved everything about our stay. The house had everything we needed. The location was beautiful, there was a lot to do. The galloping goose trail was so great and accessible. Christmas Getaway

We had a perfect Christmas holiday watching the otters play and feast down by the dock. We stayed cozy up in the loft watching movies. We were able to catch sea lions frolicking and harbour seals swimming by. Even though it was rainy we were still able to check out many parks and trails we haven’t been to before. I really liked that the house was down a long driveway and away from the road. We ended our evenings in the hot tub. Sooke is only about 30 minutes away which isn’t a far drive. Iron Mine Bay beach is up the road. It’s a short walk down the trail to the beach, which has quite the view!!! F you come in the summer I highly recommend taking a drive to Stoked Pizza. It is on the other side of Sooke but DEFINITELY worth the drive. A good place to picnic is at French Beach witch it a 2 minute drive from Stoked. We will be back for sure!

Clean, comfy, and beautiful

If I won the lottery, I would attempt to buy this property. It is absolutely beautiful. We have stayed in a number of VRBOs in North America around the same price point, and this one takes the cake. It was very clean, organized, clutter free, and full of high end furniture and comfortable beds. The property is very large and private. My children very much enjoyed the dock and the shoreline. There is an abundance of wild life, we even had seals come right up to the dock to see us. Would highly suggest a fishing charter with “last chance” it was excellent. We also checked out botanical beach and the sooke potholes. If your someone who gets car sick, bring some gravol as there is not a straight stretch of road in the whole area. Hope to be coming back soon !

We had heard of Sooke and wanted to visit. Chad the owner of the property was very informative regarding paddle boarding, the ocean activities, and the wildlife. When we got to the house it was stunningly beautiful and clean & close to Victoria for day trips. We hope to stay again.

Beautiful Well Equipped Propert

We had a great stay at this property. The house was well equipped and exactly as described. The kids loved looking for shells when the tide was out and using the provided crab pots. Our fishing charter was able to pick us up right from the dock too! Found lots of great hikes just a short drive away. A great home base for exploring the west side of the island!

Waterfront Beauty

We had a small family reunion at this waterfront beauty and it did not disappoint. Chad was very communicative during the whole process and check in was a breeze. The view from the home was amazing to say the least. We saw seal, otters and a passing by eagle and plenty of jumping fish. I would recommend and stay again should the opportunity arise.

Dream Property!

The worst part of this property is on the last day of your visit when you look in the rear view mirror and know that you are leaving! The pictures are spot on to what is there. The house was clean, well appointed and in a magnificent location. Wildlife included peacocks, deer, seals, herons, eagles and sea otters. When the tide is low, you can see a lot of aquatic life around the rocks by the dock. House does not have quick access to town, so stock up on your groceries before arriving. There are two grocery stores in Sooke. On your way to the house you will pass a general store and two food trucks. Both food trucks were great. The general store would not be the place to buy all of your food, but was really good for things we forgot or ran out of such as milk and eggs. We did day trips to Victoria, Botanical Beach (Port Renfrew) and the Sooke Potholes. There are excellent hiking access points along the road leading to the house. A great spot for a family vacation with our adult children!

We love West Coast life and all that it has to offer in beauty and recreation. We enjoy travelling and mostly rent other homes through the VRBO network.

This property has been in the family since 1950 with the newer house being constructed in 2003 from lumber harvested and milled on the property. The older cottage (not a rental) was built in the early 1920's with an addition added in the late 1940's. This property has over 900 feet of waterfront with a deep water dock, 2 beaches and a rocky point. You can catch legal sized rock and dungeness crab right of the dock. (remember you need a salt water licence that can be purchased online) and the area is abundant in sea and wild life. It truly is a piece of paradise!

Southern Vancouver Island has a mild climate with pleasant warm, dry summers and mild, wet conditions in spring, fall and winter. It rarely snows in the lower areas of this region and if it does snow it usually doesn't stay around long.

At Heron Point House you will see many varieties of wildlife, both in the water and on land. It is common to see deer, peacocks, otters, raccoons, seals, hummingbirds and bald eagles daily. If you are lucky you may even see one of the local great horned or barred owls. Bears and cougars frequent the area and you may catch a glimpse of one while enjoying one of the many hiking trails nearby.
