Perfect house for Fishing

Our family stayed here for 3 nights, and had a great experience! House was so "homey" I didn't feel like I was staying at someone else's house. Kitchen totally supplied- living room furniture and all beds were very comfortable. The location was good- small store nearby, and bait shop a little further down. Liked that the public access to the beach was right across the main street! We would totally stay here again!! :)

Family Celebration Getaway

We had a great weekend at the bay house! Being right on the water was a huge plus, and having plenty of bedrooms and sleeping space was exactly what we needed. The beds were really comfortable, and the house was nicely decorated and stocked with just about anything you could possibly need. The fishing was also great right from the dock and around the surrounding area. The host was fantastic to work with, always quick to respond to our questions and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and requests. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the weekend. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Wonderful, lots of space, enjoyed the lower deck in the day for fishing and upper deck at night for star gazing. The kitchen was enough space for multiple cooks. The beach entrance is directly across the main street. Enjoyed myself. Will recommend.....

A Reel Good Spot IS a REAL good spot

The house is spacious and very well-appointed. There was plenty of room for our entire family with comfortable beds for all to sleep in. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans. The bar area has the extra benefit of a large built-in icemaker. There are plenty of toilets, baths and showers. The main deck is large enough for a bunch of sun-bathers and overlooks a pristine canal. There are also decks on the second floor. The patio on the first floor leads to the boat dock where several family members did some fishing. Overall, a real good spot!

Nice and big house for a large group or a family. In general the house is in a pretty good condition and clean except some of the frypans and pots in the kitchen. They are old and worn out.

We enjoyed our vacation

Our group was 9 people + 1 pet, and we vacationed here at beginning of June. The place was clean, nicely decorated, spacious, and comfortable. The surrounding canals provide beautiful views and a pleasant relaxing feel. And yet we are also within walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed sharing meals in the dining area, fishing from the dock, relaxing on the deck, and walking on the beach. The host, Kathy, was super responsive to our queries and requests. There can be a lot of big mosquitoes that interfered with our times on deck or dock. Bring bug spray. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were glad I booked Reel Good Spot.

Wonderful place for family vacation

We had a wonderful weekend. The house was perfect for our family and the grandkids loved the fishing from the dock. Beach was so close and we also enjoyed the private neighborhood fishing pier. Great fun restraunt close by too. Lots of fish, crabs, sun and fun had by all.

Everyone in the family enjoyed our stay and said it was the best house yet.

Our entire stay was great! The whole family loved the plentiful beds and bath accommodations. The kids loved being able to get in the canal. This sounds funny for a house called a "reel good spot", but some of our group also caught some fish while enjoying the angling opportunities. The family vote was unanimous that they hope to get this house again next year.

Great for group!

We loved the house and location! Short golf cart ride to the beach and even rode over to the marina a few times. House was clean and comfortable- perfect for our group of 7 adults and two teenagers. Would stay again!
