This elegant and spacious 2 bedroom flat is located in the heart of the capital in a chic Parisian building. Halfway between rue Montorgueil, a famous pedestrian street, and the Place des Victoires you are surrounded by trendy cafés and restaurants. You will be 5 minutes walk from the Marais and the Beaubourg Centre. This is the ideal area for a typical Parisian stay with family or friends.

70m2 flat on the 2nd floor with lift which includes:

- Air conditioning throughout the flat (portable AC)
- Living room with sofa bed, coffee table, 1 table with chairs, TV, Wifi
- A fully equipped kitchen (hob, microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine, washing machine)
- 3 bedrooms with double bed
- 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet

The cleaning fee includes clean sheets and towels for each guest and the cleaning is done by a professional cleaning agent.

This flat is located in the centre of Paris in the 2nd arrondissement. It is just a stone's throw from rue Montorgueil, a famous pedestrian street known for its many lively cafés and restaurants, rue Etienne Marcel and Place des Victoires and halfway between the Opéra Garnier, the department stores and the large Place de la République. It is also a 5-minute walk from the historic Marais district and the Beaubourg Centre. A must-see and central district for an ideal stay in Paris.

Our Paris Stay

Our stay in Paris was amazing. We loved the location of this apartment. We could walk to almost all the sites. The apartment didn't look quite as nice as the pictures although it was clean and comfortable.

Decent apartment, but we also had a few issues...

The good: The management company was helpful along the way, and went above & beyond at times. They are reliable, easy to contact, responsive, and helpful. The apartment is in a convenient area, close to metro, grocery store and other shops and boutiques. The not-so good: Listing photos are slightly better than the actual property; not as nice as photos show. We had a few issues with bathrooms, knobs missing from one shower made it very difficult to adjust temperature (and the hot water was scalding). The other bathroom the sink faucet was very loose and about to fall off. Also, the view from the balcony is of vacant businesses and lots of trash and graffiti. Kind of a bummer. Also, the street is VERY noisy at night. Sirens, screaming... it was a lot. If you need quiet to sleep, be aware of this. The very bad: For whatever reason, they put our key into the lock box of another renter the day before our departure. This stranger then ENTERED OUR APARTMENT! Thank God the person who had the key was honest and decent... but this could have gone very badly if not. I am not sure what happened, but our key should have never been put into a retrieval box that was accessible by anyone else. Summary: The management company is great, they were helpful assisting us with a chauffeur for airport, and any other questions we had or needed. So, A+ there. However, the key mistake was a huge security concern. Apartment is not bad, just not as good as it looks on the photos.

5 days in Paris

The property is ideally situated for visiting most attractions in Paris and we enjoyed our stay, using the apartment as a base to explore and sleep. The apartment is a little worn in places and the single glazing windows mean that street noise and sirens throughout the night are very loud. The showers are hot and powerful and there is plenty of wardrobe space. The bedrooms contain bulky portable air conditioners which will likely be a plus in the summer. The smallest bedroom doesn’t have any useable windows. The balcony is very small and overlooks a very busy road and the main bedroom balcony door handle is broken.

Winter holiday trip

My family and I stayed for 2 nights over the winter holiday. The apartment was in an ideal location- close asking distance to metro, sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. The building had an elevator which was ideal for my elderly mother. The apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. My only minor complaint is that the building had a strange smell which carried into the apartment. We got used to it and it wasn’t too bad but it was noticeable.
