The house smelled like pot, and when I informed the host about it I was told "smoking in the house is against the rules. I can't help it if the previous guests did not follow the rules." A little empathy and something (anything) to help rectify the situation would have been appreciated. Instead we had to deal with the smell all weekend. Its a nice house and the location was great for what we needed, but that one thing kinda ruined everything about the stay.

Home was exactly how portrayed in photo except newer couches. Very clean. Mattress were quite hard for us and I like firm but you can not please everyone in that dept. same for pillows, either flat or puffy. We bought our own since we drove. Was very happy to have a gated driveway to park in since we always try to stay in a nicer neighborhood but donā€™t always know exactly what youā€™re getting till you get there. Was happy with the neighborhood. Many people walking, school across the street, on a busy corner/ street so you do hear traffic. Was happy with the outside seating areas and no bugs inside or outside for being in the south. I definitely appreciate that. The only thing I suggest is maybe luggage racks in closets. Loved having a few Kcups, creamer, snacks and water to tie us over till we could get to store. It was great being within walking distance to the belt line and all the different restaurants. Over all I would recommend.

Spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us. Walking to the Krog Street Market area and the MLK National Historical Park area. We visited the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and enjoyed some good blues music at Blind Willie's.

We rented this house for MagicCon at the Georgia World Congress Center. Our group included three 54-year-old friends and my 19-year-old daughter. The house was spacious and close to the venue (about 15 minutes in traffic).Itā€™s located at a busy intersection across from a middle school, with a Circle K nearby. Expect city noiseā€”whistles, sirens, traffic. The neighborhood felt safe during the day but was quiet and less active at night, with visible homelessness nearby.Parking was fine with space for 4ā€“5 cars in the driveway. The layout was functional, with firm queen beds and oversized pillows. Two guests found their beds uncomfortableā€”one sagged noticeably.The kitchen was decent but lacked basics like a toaster and spatula. TVs in each room were great, though one remote didnā€™t work. Checkout was listed as ā€œbefore 11,ā€ but cleaning staff arrived at 10:25.After our stay, VRBO charged me 600 for a broken bed. The guest in that room (180 lbs) had complained it sagged. No misuse occurred. Weā€™re respectful, middle-aged adults who were exhausted from walking 15,000 steps a day. If the bed broke from normal use, that reflects wear and tearā€”not negligence.We wonā€™t rent here again and may choose a hotel next year. Iā€™ve disputed the charge with my credit card company.

Very nice house.

The house was clean and spacious. We found the beds too hard and the living room furniture not that comfortable. There were also no fans in the house. The location was perfect. The space outside was nice. The driveway fit our large van and trailer which was amazing for being in the city!

Immaculate and spacious home in charming neighborhood!

This house was quaint, clean, and secure. It has 4 bedrooms with lots of space. The yard and cozy front porch are great places to enjoy urban life and the Atlanta sunshine. The house is a short walk to the shops and restaurants of the Atlanta Beltway and the Krog Street Market - a haven for foodies like us!

Decent home, sketchy area, kitchen not great for cooking

I used to live in downtown Atlanta so I donā€™t have issues with the city, but this house felt like it was in a slightly sketchy area. We had a homeless person knock on our door asking for food because the dinner we were making smelled good. The kitchen doesnā€™t have everything you need to cook with and the dishes arenā€™t dishwasher safe or microwavable safe. The house sleeps at least 8, but thereā€™s not 8 of everything. For example there are only two plastic wine glasses and a few glasses. The living room also doesnā€™t seat 8, and it has a recliner thatā€™s electric, but it doesnā€™t have the cord to plug it in and itā€™s in a permanent semi-reclined position. Thereā€™s nowhere to hang your towel in the primary bathroom, which was fairly dirty. There were plenty of hairs in the tub and water marks on top of the counter that looked like something round and wet was there. It clearly hadnā€™t been wiped down. The toilet seats in both bathrooms were loose. The trash hadnā€™t been picked up and it was already full from other renters. For some reason all closets were missing doors, including the laundry closet which had some exposed chipped tiles. On the bright side, after I figured out how to use the thermostat we didnā€™t need to use the space heaters (which were all in great condition and worked well). The gated area had enough room for three cars (two of which were SUVs). The beds were really comfortable (but they could use some thicker comforters). Plenty of kitchen seating!

EXCELLENT House, Excellent location

We did a sports weekend in Atlanta with 4 guys - the house was perfect. 4 bedrooms made sure everyone had their own spot, the living room/dining room/kitchen were great, and the covered front porch was fantastic for just hanging out. On top of that, it was a 2 block walk to Krog Market, and is located on the freeways, so getting pretty much anywhere was simple. Truly a great home in a great spot. Thanks for sharing!
