This new VRBO listing was previously part of the exclusive collection offered by Inspirato Luxury Vacation Club. In the past, this villa rented for up to $1800 per night and now renting again privately, we are able to offer you the same luxury experience at an amazing price point.

Villa Alta MIra is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with beautiful ocean views on one side and lush hillside views on the other creating a feeling of peace and privacy. With four bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, the villa offers two luxurious master suites with Jacuzzi tubs and private balconies. There is a third-floor media room with spectacular views. It includes an extra pull-out sofa bed and desk. A highlight of this villa is the expansive, outdoor living area that features a large infinity pool with ocean view, plenty of space for lounging, and covered terrace with dining table and built-in grill area.

You will enjoy your morning coffee to the sounds of singing birds and in the green season, the monkeys will lounge in the trees just off the terrace and you can always find a friendly iguana enjoying the sun. Daily housekeeping and fabulous homemade breakfasts are available for small additional fee.

We are located just minutes from many beautiful beaches and the quaint town of Playas Del Coco which offers American style grocery stores, wonderful restaurants and shopping. Just 30 minutes from Liberia International Airport, we are in the perfect jump off point to explore the natural beauty of Costa Rica like waterfalls and volcanoes, incredible wildlife and the adventure activities. We offer a complimentary concierge team that will help you plan your most memorable vacation specifically designed for your group. They will help with rental cars, airport transfers, tours and activities, in home spa treatments and even chef dinners.

Wonderful Villa

Enjoyed our stay at Villa Altamira

Our family of 5 adults stayed in the villa for four nights and it was probably the best VRBO property we've ever rented. It was very clean, beds were comfortable and we loved the patio/pool area. Francisco was a great concierge that helped with arranging the details of our trip. He helped us with grocery delivery, booked scuba diving, a chef dinner and arranged in-house massages. We would definitely recommend this villa.

Very clean place, nice and safe

The place is located between 8 to 15 minutes from the nearest beach. Was very clean, spacious and safe. We enjoyed our stay very much. A previous guest forgot to return a remote for the blinds so they were not operational but they work hard to get a replacement fast. It’s a place worth to visit again

I do think you may have missed the back road access to Playas Del Coco which is less than a 5 minute drive from the villa and beautiful Playa Hermosa is a 8 minute drive! Absolutely amazing!

We loved our time in this house. The pool is lovely and the views are spectacular. The location could not be better - it is a very short drive to Playa del Coco and to Playa Hermosa. In addition, the property manager is the BEST! Francisco helped us with everything from a car rental to arranging excursions, to setting us up with chefs who cooked dinner for us at the house. We cannot recommend this house enough.

Wonderful stay at Alta Mira!

Our family had a fantastic time at Alta Mira. We loved the pool and the location close to great restaurants and Coco Beach. Francisco was amazing- he helped put together a great itinerary for our family(lots of fun excurions and terrific restaurant and activity suggestions!) The breakfast prepared daily at the villa was delicious and the villa staff were so so lovely. We will miss them! This was our first time visiting Costa Rica and we fell in love! We can't wait to return to Alta Mira and enoy more of this special place. Thank you Francisco and team for making our vacation so memorable. Pura Vida!

Another wonderful stay

This was our third time staying at Villa Altimira and we keep coming back because it is a wonderful place to get together as a family where everyone can unwind, feel comfortable, safe, and well looked after. The location of this property is on a hill overlooking a beautiful view of the ocean. It is very serene and private. This is a great place to view birds and if you're lucky you will see monkeys in the trees (I highly recommend bringing binoculars). A big thank you to Francisco who always succeeds in taking good care of us from recommending the best restaurants and activities to always being available to answer any questions or concerns.

We loved our stay here!! First, let me say, my family would never have been able to plan out our excursions had it not been for Francisco and his amazing help!!!!!! He is so detailed and helped us so much with the itinerary. We would have been lost without him! He is the best ever!!! The cleaning/breakfast crew was exceptional. The home was immaculately clean every day (this is a HUGE deal for me personally and I appreciated it so much!!!). Everyone was kind and helpful and wonderful. Paradise in Coco Beach

Two families with children shared this incredible home for a week. It was an amazing experience. First, the location is fantastic; just 30 minutes from the Liberia airport, nestled in the hills, and within reach of many beautiful beaches and experiences. Second, Francisco and his team took such wonderful care of our group - from the pre-planning (getting groceries, making reservations, etc.) to assisting with questions as they arose during our stay, he was prompt and friendly. For a fee, there is an option to request daily housecleaning and preparation of snacks - which was a lovely addition to our stay. Last, the house itself was perfect for a group; there was enough space for everyone, the kitchen had everything you needed, the washer and dryer came in very handy, and the pool was much-loved by the children. In summary, this is a wonderful vacation home and experience; we hope to be back!

Top notch Villa with beautiful view

We stayed for 4 days at the villa Hermosa. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Francisco took really good care of us and was available to help us at any point. The Villa is spacious and well designed, I loved the office space on the third floor with the beautiful view, Working from them was wonderful. The Internet connection was great and they had a few appleTV to allow for streaming which was great for the kids. We had breakfast service two mornings and it was just fabulous. I highly recommend the nearby semi-private beach (Francisco can tell you all about it). The only downside of this journey was that we had to leave.

Christmas in Costa Rica

This was our 8th year taking a family vacation for Christmas. Our 3 adult children plus ones totaled 8. The house was clean, spacious and well appointed. Francisco was outstanding in assisting with daily activities, dinner and lunch recommendations and reservations. We also enjoyed breakfast prepared by his staff several mornings. We’ve been all over the Caribbean and Latin America, and this was truly one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had. Do not hesitate if you are considering Villa Altimara and a trip to Costa Rica. Beautiful property

We will definitely stay here again! We had 3 adults and 5 teenagers. It worked out beautifully. The two master suites on the second floor are so nice and spacious and the lower floor bedroom’s accommodated the kids. The loft worked great for one sleeper. The rooms and configuration of f the home is great! If you want to get away from your group and have some quiet time on your own patio you can, or gather together for a meal or pool time. We had security dedicated to the few homes in the culdesac which was a nice perk! Be sure to tell them thank you and maybe give them some food or tip. They were extremely appreciative. The outside area was lovely for dining outdoors! Definitely a repeat for us!

No one wanted to leave.

From the time booking until check Francisco was there to assist. He helped us plan breakfast with special requirements each day for 8 people. He arranged for us to be picked up at the airport. He had two cars waiting for us at the house when we arrived. He set up multiple excursions. He arranged for a car seat, high chair, crib for our grand son. Kelsey the property manger checked on us multiple times. The house sits minutes from groceries stores, shops, restaurants and beaches. The house has everything you need. The views are outstanding especially at sunset and yes we saw monkeys daily from the pool.

Iguanas, swallows, a turquoise browed mot mot

The house is lovely, clean, comfortable. We felt relaxed right away. Perhaps this was due to our concierge, Francisco, who made all of the arrangements to get us to the house from the airport, deliver a rental car, come to the immediate aid of travelers with transportation problems, and the list goes on. We had never had this experience before and it was nothing short of miraculous! Francisco arranged for breakfast and snacks each day. The food and preparation were outstanding. The professionals that came to cook and clean were delightful. I hugely recommend this luxury because it really created a festive spirit around being at home in the house. We also had groceries delivered before arrival and that was so so nice. Our favorite outing was RIo Perdido to see the wildlife and thermal river. Francisco made the arrangements and it was perfect. The food at Ginger and the soda in coco called jardin Tropicale were our favorites. Casado is the best meal to be had and when done well is just scrumptious. We were a bit saddened by the building above beautiful beaches which international companies seem to mostly be doing and I wonder how carefully environmental concerns are being respected. Aside from the beautiful culture of Pura Vida, the natural beauty and wonder of this land is what we tourists come to see. In many ways we are the problem. But we can also help. I urge all travelers to look deeply within and ask how can we show respect for the land and the people we all need to care for it? Many thanks to Francisco and his colleagues. The house was exactly what you would want to stay at when traveling to Costa Rica, great views of the ocean, as well as the mountains. Was a perfect location to get to other cities when wanting to travel to the many other beautiful beaches.The house host was spot on with communication during the booking process, and Francisco who was the main contact for the complimentary concierge service, did an amazing job with providing us all the necessary tools we needed to navigate our stay, as well as helping book and organize our delay activities.Francisco is one of the best concierges we have ever experienced, and helped make our trip to Costa Rica a very memorable experience.

The house is beautiful as pictures, very peace and quiet, plus very safety and secure.

Francisco was helping us thru the whole walking checking when we arrived, he was very kind and nice to show us where local restaurants, beautiful beaches, and other activities very knowledgeable. He always there whenever you have concerns or questions. They have wifi, safety lock, even alarm system. Plus there is security guards in the subdivision. Oh by the way they have housekeeping cleaned up in between our stay. The way the pool was facing to the perfect sunset, we saw whole family of monkeys on the trees back of yard. Very unique place for family vacation I don’t know how much more but this place definitely worth our money. Very close to shopping, restaurants, groceries…etc.. thank you for such overwhelming preparations thank you Francisco. Really appreciated you a lot.

Great home and location

Spacious home and perfect for adults and kids. The staff was courteous, location was ideal for dining, with major activites about 90 min away (lir only 30 min), and our concierge Francisco was on top of everything for us so we didn't have to worry about a thing. He made the trip more successful and enjoyable for us !

Amazing House with Amazing Staff

Upon arrival we were all impressed with the beauty in this house. Then once we got to meet the staff we were even more amazed. Francisco went above and beyond to take care of our wants and needs. He got to know our group and suggested the perfect excursion for us. Nelly did a great job cooking us breakfast and even adjusted to our special requests. We were extremely pleased with this home away from home!
