Welcome to the Ocean Gem! Relax and listen to the crashing waves on your private balcony of our newly renovated, newly furnished, direct oceanfront, one bedroom, one bathroom, beautiful beach villa. Ocean Gem is located in Ocean Dunes complex, a private gated community, on South Forest Beach and only steps from the popular Coligny Plaza. You will enjoy the wonderful accommodations, heated pool, picnic area and spectacular views!

Ocean Gem (our villa) is an updated, charming beach condo the is direct pool and oceanfront. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and go barefoot in the sand!
Fully furnished, new plank flooring, granite, and stainless appliances. Ocean Dunes (our Complex) has a private beach access path for your morning bike rides or sunset walks.

The property was ocean view as listed. However, it was smaller than we imagined. The bed in bedroom was small and had a horrible odor that was throughout the whole place. Smelled like dirty mop, musty and the attempt to cover up with deodorants. The upholstery on the couch was so dirty as well as curtain in living room. The whole place felt damp. The location is good for walking distance to shops, food and beach. The pool was tiny in comparison to hotel pool. No pool or beach towels came with unit or chairs. Rented on beach for the afternoon. And the washer/dryer in listing is not in unit it’s coin laundry located outside of unit. Overall for a last minute spot in HH we made it work, but definitely overpriced and won’t stay again.

Our condominium is professionally serviced by a licensed HVAC company on a quarterly basis, and we take great pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and well-presented property. Prior to your stay, the unit had been rented without any reported issues and received an outstanding 10-star review from the previous guests. We would also like to clarify that our website clearly states that beach towels are not provided. It also specifies that coin-operated laundry facilities are available on each floor rather than within the individual unit. For these reasons, we believe that the low rating does not accurately reflect the condition of the property or the information provided to guests prior to their stay. Nevertheless, we are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We sincerely value guest feedback and will continue to strive to provide an exceptional experience for all of our current and future guests. Thank you again for your feedback and for giving us the opportunity to address these concerns.

Hilton Head Getaway

This condo is a short walk to the beautiful beach and ocean. It was decorated nicely and very clean and right next door to a Tiki Bar with live music and great food. We highly recommend using it for a fun Hilton Head Getaway!

Close to the beach, great time

This was our first family trip to the beach. The property is so nice, modern decor and great vicinity to the beach. The sofa bed in the living room was uncomfortable you could feel the frame through the mattress, but I have two teenage boys who are borderline giants, so it would probably have been better for smaller kids. But the master bed was so comfy and I wanted to bring it home. The balcony was so nice and great for watching fireworks from the beach on the 4th. Parking was a little tight at times, but luckily as long as we didn’t come back too late in the evening, we were able to find a spot. The pool was nice, a little warm too be refreshing for me but the kids didn’t care. Access to the Hilton’s bar and grill was much appreciated. Overall no major complaints, we would definitely stay again. Bill and Kathy were great hosts.

This property is in a great location and super quiet making it ideal for a couple looking to unwind! The pool was great. There are restrooms next door outside at the Hilton property that you have access to as well as their snack bar. Please note for planning purposes,there are not beach or pool towels or beach chairs provided and washer dryer is not in the actual unit but around the corner on the same floor. Comfy bed, beautiful view, great location . Great stay! Thank you! Highly recommend Hudson's and the Old Oyster Factory Reatruant for dining and the museum in town. Beware of jellyfish , they were stinging multiple people this week!

This was great for a last minute getaway for our family. Updated and clean. The host was very responsive when we had questions and couldn’t find something, like the linens for the pull-out couch. Wonderful location, and access to the restaurant next door was a convenient perk.
