Tired and Outdated
Friendly check-in staff, good location and a comfortable bed are really the only positive things I can say about this unit.
I remember reading in a previous review that the carpet tacks were sticking up through the carpet leading from the bedroom to the tiled hallway and also at the transition from the tile area to the carpet in the living room and was surprised that this safety hazard still existed upon our arrival, but found that this was consistent with the aura of the place (ie: worn out carpet, cheap furnishings, ugly window coverings that were dragging on the floor, oversized and soiled upholstery, unattractive wall art, a personal plaque with the owners names on it, etc.) . . . in a word, tacky.
Emailed checkout instructions were in conflict with the printed instructions located inside the property. There was a key marked "Laundry", but no diagram or instructions to tell us where the laundry was located. No site map of the property to direct us to where the pool and hot tub were located. I was able to find it because I saw two young men dressed in swim attire walking between two units and figured that they were probably headed to the pool.
Just glad that we had a very busy schedule and didn't have to spend much time in the unit as it is in need of a total refresh and update.
