"Seafield" is a gorgeous front beach property, located on the pristine shores of Folly Beach! This home is the perfect space for generations of family members to gather and spend quality time together this summer, while having ample space to spread out, inside and out!
The first floor of this home has an open living room, kitchen and dining area, overlooking the ocean and opening onto the screened porch. The dining room table comfortably seats 8 with additional bar-top seating for four. On the first level you will find one bedroom, furnished with a king bed and across the hall there is another bedroom with a queen. The first level also has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. This bathroom is accessible from the hall and king bedroom. Upstairs on the second floor you will discover five additional bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and the full capacity washer & dryer.
There is a spacious screened porch on the oceanside of the home that is furnished with comfortable outdoor seating and a picnic table for dining or games. Just off the screened porch is a sundeck, furnished with 3 lounge chairs and additional seating. As you descend off the sundeck, you are greeted with a covered carport, again with 2 picnic tables, a gas grill and additional seating options. This home is FRONT BEACH with it’s own private access, which also has a lovely little seating area for gathering, or watching little ones as they play on the shore. Off street parking is a hot commodity on the island and this home has a long driveway and parking area that can accommodate multiple cars, Guests may need to rearrange cars as needed to get in and out.

Michael and Dianne Ray are the proud proprietor's of SurfFish Realty, a small boutique vacation rental company on Folly Beach. We pride ourselves in customer service and the quality of our homes. We represent a small select number of vacation rentals, exclusively on Folly Beach. This allows us a more personal connection with the homes, owners and guests. We have owned and lived on Folly beach since 2003. We raised both our children on the sands of this beautiful and unique island. We look forward to sharing our little slice of paradise with you.

The following is the history behind 1101 East Arctic.
-In the early 1940's, after a devastating hurricane took down every other house on this front beach of Folly, John(Jack)Ball paid $500 to his brother for this last remaining dwelling. At the time the house had 4 bedrooms and a toilet! (In fact, true to his Scottish heritage, Jack was too cheap to make the purchase and his wife Madan secured the money from her own family to buy the home) They figured they had secured their family a retreat for only the next summer's season. Flash forward 40 years , with the arrival of hurricane Hugo, which finally took the small home down. In 1992, the home was rebuilt by Jack and Madan's children, adding a second floor, creating additional bedrooms and bathrooms, providing maximum space for their grandchildren. "Seafield" has been the common touchstone summer experience for multiple generations and it is the intention of the family to continue this lasting tradition and Folly retreat for generations to come! We hope our guests are able to create beautiful and lasting memories while visiting our home.
