'A Shore Thing' ist ein 5 Schlafzimmer, 5 1/2 Badezimmer, behindertengerechtes, vierstöckiges Ferienhaus Traumhaus. Aufzug Zugang (40 "Breite x 45" tiefe Kabine) zu jeder Etage und behindertengerecht (ADA) Master-Suite in der Hauptebene (Schiebetafel Transfer von WC zu Dusche / WC und offene Spüle zum Rad unter). Vier (4) Master-Suiten, jeweils mit eigenem Bad und alle mit Meerblick und privaten / persönlichen "Romeo & Julia Balkon". Ein Kinderzimmer verfügt über 3 Etagenbetten (5 Zwillinge und 1 Königin) für insgesamt 6 Betten. Jedes Zimmer mit Flachbild-TV und neuen Matratzen (2016) Die oberste Etage verfügt über ein Billard / Spielzimmer mit einer Tiki-Hütte. Main (1. Stock) verfügt über eine große offene Küche mit Insel, 2 Spülmaschinen, abgeschirmten Veranda und offene Veranda mit eingebautem 30 'Lynx Gasgrill. Es gibt ein Sonos-Soundsystem mit Lautsprechern im Wohnzimmer, Küche, Bildschirm Veranda, Billardraum und Garage. Treppen von der offenen Veranda führen direkt zum Strand, wo eine Landung mit Sitzgelegenheit / Kühlraum und einer Außendusche untergebracht werden. Unter dem Haus ist Parkplatz für 6 Autos / SUVs, plus Einfahrt Parkplatz. Granit-Arbeitsplatten überall. Dies ist ein wunderschönes neues Zuhause auf Torheit, entworfen und gebaut für den Urlaub. Genießen.

Ich halte den Kalender sehr aktuell. Wenn Daten gesperrt sind, sind sie nicht verfügbar. Vom Tag des Gedenktages bis zum Tag der Arbeit haben wir eine Firma bei einem Mindestaufenthalt von sieben Tagen. Check-in und Check-out Tag sind Samstag ohne Ausnahme.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass alle Bewertungen vor Mai 2016 für die alte Unterkunft "Black Magic" gelten. Diese Eigenschaft wurde komplett abgerissen und von Grund auf neu aufgebaut, um "ein Landding" zu werden. Seit Juli 2016 hat Google Earth keine aktualisierten Bilder mehr aufgenommen. Wenn Sie sich die Immobilie anschauen, wird es auf Google Earth anders aussehen als im heutigen Leben.

HOCHZEITEN / VERANSTALTUNGEN - 1250 $ nicht erstattungsfähige Veranstaltungsgebühr

Dieses Haus wurde auch für Hochzeiten / Veranstaltungen (max. 49 Personen) konzipiert. Der große umzäunte Hinterhof bietet viel Platz für Tische / Stühle / Tanzfläche. Die Garage wurde fertig gestellt (lackiert / Abstellgleis / glatte Decken, können Lichter und Lautsprecher) für einen Caterer einrichten oder für viele Tische und Stühle (als Regenplan). Heiraten Sie am Strand und haben Sie Ihre Rezeption im Hinterhof.

Ein Hafen-a-jon mieten ist für Veranstaltungen erforderlich, da alle von Folly Beach keine kommunale Abwässer haben (wir sind auf einer Klärgrube) und zu viele Leute, die das Badezimmer (mehr als 15-20) benutzen, können dazu führen, dass es eine Unterstützung Überlauf im Hinterhof).

Ab dem 1.8.18 ist keine verstärkte Musik im Hinterhof (DJ oder Band) erlaubt. Die Nutzung des hauseigenen Sonos Systems ist erlaubt

This property was truly everything we could have hoped for to stay for our wedding on Folly Beach. Our highlights were the "bunk" room, huge kitchen and dining room table, and the screened in porch. The proximity to the beach doesn't hurt either. It is spacious and perfect for a large group. They seem to have thought of most things you could want!

Spacious Oceanfront Home

The house can accommodate large families or friend groups. Virtually every room has ocean view and lots of bathrooms. Tons of socializing space and great enclosures on deck and a garden that accesses the beach immediately. Great communication with Ross and listen to his suggestions. Folly town is fantastic find; lots if cool bars, great music and cool ice cream shop for the littles-“Shoobies.” Pool halls too. Tides is a great music and oceanfront restaurant for a fancy night out with music. The rooftop Taco restaurant more casual with music too snd cool with kids. Great vibe, Ashley st is a great walk, or you can Uber. Enjoy as we did.

Great venue for our wedding!

We had our wedding here and this home was the perfect setting! Lots of room for everyone to stay as well as the setup of the home and backyard made this the perfect venue for a beach wedding. The owner is very responsive and helps out in any way he can.

Beautiful place for a wedding

It was a great place for our wedding. We had 50 guests and it fit everyone nicely! We had a hiccup when we checked in but the landlord was very responsive and fixed it. Such a good open space with beautiful views.

Beach House Vacation

This was a great rental for our group of 12 adults and 3 children! It was very clean, had a great view of the ocean, and Ross was very responsive to any concerns we had. A regional thing to note is apparently hairdryers are not commonly provided in rental houses in Charleston which we didn't know, so we didn't bring any and had to buy some. In any case, great house and we enjoyed it very much!!!

Great Place for Venue

This rental was perfect for a family vacation that coincided with my youngest son's wedding. The house was perfect to hold the rehearsal dinner as well as a place for the groomsmen to change into their attire. Only drawback is the City of Folly Beach being uncooperative and dishonest to our vendors, but that is not the fault of this rental. Just beware of the city if you plan to hold an event.

Great Beach Stay

Lovely beachfront house, lots of room, close walk to beach, great windows and doors to enjoy beach even when inside. House was well stocked with things needed to cook and serve nice dinners. We love to keep the music going and the Sonos made it nice to put on tunes throughout the house. Host was great at answering questions quickly. Short ride to local eateries and shops. There was plenty of room on beach with private access. Charleston was quick 20-30 minute ride. Would definitely stay again!

Good family house right on the ocean.

Overall great stay. The house could use a few more basics like bath towels and a few beach chairs or an umbrella would be lovely so we didn’t have to pack so much stuff. Things get pretty sandy. A few more rugs and tubs to wash feet would be great. Central vac didn’t work great. Having another vacuum or mop on sight to use would be nice. Overall the house was just as advertised and fit out needs well. The view is beautiful and the backyard is amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Exactly what we wanted

We were so excited to find this listing! We are Charleston natives and wanted to host our wedding on folly beach. This place was perfect. We were able to spend the weekend at the beach with our friends and family in the incredible house with the most amazing views and enough space for everybody to be spread out. There are porches facing the ocean on every floor. Plenty of seating and clean, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. It was raining so we had our ceremony and reception in the garage downstairs and it was still beautiful. Ross was a great communicator and very patient with me as I had a lot of questions for him lol he was always there when I needed him! Can not say enough great things about “A Shore Thing”

SIMPLY STUNNING PROPERTY!!!

If I could give 10 stars for each of the above categories I would! Ross is a wonderful host and was so responsive to all of my communication from booking to stay! We held our son's recent rehearsal dinner here in the back yard, it was a stunning event with the backdrop of the ocean and all the space for our guests to enjoy the view and dinner under the up-lit palm trees . Everyone from family to friends who entered this home were stunned at it's beautiful views from any spot on the property! The rooms were so comfortable each with their own oceanfront views and private bathrooms allowing everyone to have privacy and space as the rooms are nicely spread throughout the home. Although we did not have young kids to use the bunkbed / family room it is the coolest room and would easily sleep a small family in your group or all the kids and or teens in a group. We fit a 6 ft 20 something in a bunkbed and he was very comfortable! The rest of the home is very cozy and nicely decorated, the screened in porch, the rocking chairs and the fabulous kitchen! The pool/ game room with the porch off the room was a favorite of our family to play pool, listen to music and watch the sunset ! If you are looking for a 5 star resort home on a quiet street with oceanfront access look no further this house is a shore thing!!! I look forward to having an opportunity to visit family in Charleston again and staying here !!!!!

Great house and location

Overall the was a great house for us. The layout and beachfront location were terrific. Loved the screened porch and open kitchen living area and the bunk room was awesome for the kids! That being said some of the furnishings and kitchen items did not seem up to par with a rental at that level. It did not seem thoroughly cleaned when we got there… the floors especially. We had access to a broom but no dust pan could be found . The beds were ok but the pillows were fair to poor. The towels supplied were very thin and small and while some things like dishes were well stocked, other things, like wine glasses were not. A couple of chairs were broken but usable. We had a great time and loved the place for the most part. The things that need to be addressed could easily be taken care of. The repeated beeping of the alarm that had to be reset every 8-10 hrs was quite annoying but at least it could be turned off for periods of time. I would recommend this house but hope that the property owner / manager would address some of the not ideal aspects of the property and make sure it is up to par on the things mentioned.

Owner failed in reasonable communication

Overall the property is not well represented in the description and pictures shown. The pictures are misleading in size and condition. I rented the property for a total of 4 adults and 3 kids. The other couple we were traveling with was using this as a scouting trip for a wedding next summer. Obviously this was house enough for us but I would not recommend using this as a wedding venue as the property is advertised. The yard was not well maintained and the interior lower level was not as large as it appeared in the pictures. The property owner was not up to par with communication. - Failed to notify us or post in the property description that Folly Beach renourishment was happening during the time we were there and the couple months prior. We stayed at another property the week before this stay and found out from that property. The only issue with the renourishment was a large diesel generation and sand/water pump was located directly in front of the property. It would run on and off throughout the day and all hours of the night. After asking the owner, he mentioned previous renters had complained. This is something I would expect to be passed to future guests on the potential impact to their vacation. - Failed to notify us that the oven was broken and only confirmed this when we tried to cook the first day and the smell of gas became obvious. At a high level the property is okay, but for the price, I expected a higher level of service and better property maintenance.

We rented this property as a home base for my son's wedding week in Charleston. We had family from all over the country coming to town and needed a place to gather that would accommodate a larger group at different times of the day - this house was just what we needed! Everything was as described - most importantly for me, the wheelchair accessibility! I was able to get everywhere in the house (upstairs, downstairs, outside, and to the beach). The house was cozy but big enough to fit all 12 of us, ages 5 - 55, and everyone had a place to sleep! The kids enjoyed the pool table room, outside deck, large yard, beach access, and town of Folly. I was impressed with Ross and his quick responses to all of my questions - he truly put me at ease and helped with anything we needed. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking to gather their family at the beach!

This was our 10th summer in Folly and this was now our second time staying at A Beach Thing. We will absolutely stay here every time we visit. Beautiful house, so clean, excellent accommodations, and even better communication from the host. Thank you again for keeping our family tradition going in the best way!

Family wedding weekend

The house is beautiful and spacious and was perfect for our family gathering for our daughter's wedding weekend on Folly Beach! The setting on the beach is perfect... fabulous views and balconies from the living room and kitchen and all but one of the bedrooms! The elevator made bringing suitcases and supplies inside and taking them out again very easy. The yard and walkway to the beach was perfect. Everything was wonderful! Ross was always quick to respond to texts and emails and was great about communicating and accommodating our requests. Highly recommend this house for your family vacation on Folly Beach!
