Less than expected

We had to clean crumbs out of drawer that held pans and rewash dishes, cups and utensils before using them. Opened packages of food was left in cupboards and fridge. There was a broom but no dustpan. We had to get permission to purchase a toaster and a saucepan and frying pan big enough to prepare food for 6 adults. We left them there ( your welcome). Plenty of wine and martini glasses but only three drinking glasses. House is on the market to sell so owners must have lost interest in rental details.

Suited our needs

Excellent communication from Kris. Property was a good size, the back yard was the appeal with the pool and the outdoor area. The kitchen had most things we needed, but we couldn’t find any scissors. The dishwasher was not stable inside, but still worked fine. Lots of dishes to use but the bigger ones don’t fit inside the dishwasher. The couch was NOT comfortable to lounge on but the outdoor one was great! Check in was really easy and the property was a close to everything we wanted to see. We were happy with it overall.

Spring Break with kids

The house was on a busy street, but once inside the traffic wasn't noticeable and the pool was a backyard oasis. You'll need a car to get around, but Palm Springs is easy to navigate. We enjoyed our stay at Martini Weekend.

Great place

Cool house, good decor, had everything we needed. The house sits on a pretty busy street but it didn't impact our stay at all and noise wasn't too bad at night. Very close to all the best restaurants, 5min ride to everything.

No Estste here. Spent the first two hours getting the tv cable to work (football playoff weekend). The street in front of the house is super loud with traffic (even semi trailers). Was awoken every morning with sounds of pounding and scraping from roof. Would never stay again

Great mountain views!

My family of 4 stayed here over the New Year's week and it was great. The house was clean and well appointed and had lovely views of the mountains. The kitchen was easy to cook in for our family and our extended family for a fun holiday dinner and game night. We didn't swim as it was a chilly week, with forecasted rain (but none came to fruition). It's 5 mins from uptown and in a cool neighborhood, although located on a fairly busy thoroughfare. Lots of cool mid-century houses in the surrounding walk-able neighborhoods.

Great place!

Martini weekend was great. Location is ideal as it’s near downtown and other shops and super markets. The house is clean and easy to navigate. The pool was perfect! The hosts were extremely available snd easy to talk to . I would for sure stay here again!

Great home Great location

This home is stylish, opened, warm and cozy. The pool is big and so fun for the entire family. The location is perfect, close to downtown and grocery stores, and across a big park with a play structure. The owners were very easy to communicate with and very welcoming. We hope to visit again !

The house was perfect for family of 4. Spent most of our time by pool. The lounge chairs need fixed as the locking mechanism is broke on most chairs. The bathroom door to outside needs knob replacing. It’s about to break. Kitchen was fully stocked.

Palm Springs getaway

We chose this house based on reviews and our stay was so/so. The house was situated on a loud busy street. Pool light was out and we contacted the 3 or 4 numbers listed as point of contacts but nothing could be done during our stay so the pool and actually the entire outdoor area wasn’t able to be used after about 7pm due to it being pitch black when the weather was perfect which was a big downfall. The pool was also dirty on arrival which I know is expected in the desert but this was overly dirty. The water from faucets was murky and the master bath shower had black stuff come from it when turned on so we avoided it. Also the pool furniture was not as pictured and more out dated and only reclined, would not stay up when used. The alarm code did not work when we first arrived and it took a few calls to get in contact with someone to get it situated. Overall the house was okay but needs a facelift and some electric/pipe work done. Pool is nice during the day time and the breezeway was great.

We enjoyed our stay

Place is very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space for our group of 6! We rode bikes one day to downtown and at night it was a $20 Uber ride to downtown! Perfect location! We would definitely stay here again!

The house was very clean and well equipped but needed more indoor and outdoor seating it had beds for 6 put only seats for 4 in the living room and by the pool also it should nave been made clear that there was a extra cost for heating the pool

Vintage House

So this house is very vintage Palm Springs, which was kind of cool. It’s close to downtown Palm Springs which we really enjoyed (but not walking distance). The pool and backyard are very spacious and the rooms are nice. There is only one big bed in the master bedroom, but the other bedrooms are comfortable. We had Thanksgiving here and we had everything we needed except a cutting board. We really enjoyed our stay, but the water from the sinks were very murky, the WiFi was turned off before we checked out, the pool guy showed up without us expecting it and they charge extra to heat the pool. These weren’t deal breakers and we definitely enjoyed our stay, but just something to expect if you stay here.

Great house - perfect pool!

My son and I stayed for 5 nights to get away, relax with a change of scenery (we live in OC). The house is nice - has everything you need! Clean and organized. The pool is AMAZING, we spent a ton of time in it - nice sized and we paid extra for the heated water and it was perfect!

Great stay!

House was perfect for our little family getaway. I was traveling w my 1 year old and I appreciated the house being well stocked! Spices, coffee, foil, condiment, washing machine, towels, games etc. Will definitely be back! Salt water pool is an added bonus and loved that my dog could run around in the yard and has shade!

The house was very clean, the pool is Amazing very big and deep! Couldn’t ask for more. I was nervous about the cleanliness of the home but it wasn’t a issue everything looked pretty clean..... had a few questions but property managers were always only a text away....I will definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway

Lovely home, blast to the past. The mid century modern style is really fun. Great location, close to downtown and hiking. The house was very comfortable for the three of us, loved spending time in and beside the pool- it was very private except for when the pool service showed up! Loved our stay. Will stay again.

Mid century Alexander home with a private pool and great entertaining space. Kitchen was well equipped as advertised. Far enough from downtown that you’d need a car and on a somewhat busy street, however you never heard street traffic from inside the house. Overall a very nice place.

Great potential

After reviewing many properties online, we decided on the Martini Weekend. It seemed like the perfect place for a girls getaway. Teri (the property manager) arrived soon after we did. She was very friendly and helpful. It was evident upon our arrival that this property is tired and in desperate need of a refresh. It isn’t like the photos online. Furniture is fraying and uncomfortable, rugs are stained, coffee cups are stained, and the landscape definitely needs help. In the photos a TV was in the master, but not during our stay. While the pool definitely needs updating, , it was wonderful! We paid for heat and it was heated and very comfortable except on our last full day, we woke to a much cooler pool, really disappointing. We let Teri know about the heat issue and she said the owner controls that. No resolve. Communication was confusing. Book said pool person comes on Monday and Thursday. We let Teri know on Monday evening that no one had come by on either Thursday or Monday and she told us it was Tuesday and Friday. Every scheduled day we stayed out of the pool much of the day and yet no one ever showed. Our entire 9 day stay had no pool maintenance. By the end of our stay, the pool was dirty with debris floating on top and also on the bottom. Noise could be an issue for some. Racquet Club Road is loud and busy. This property is also in the flight path for the Palm Springs Airport. One morning we woke to no power in the kitchen. We found the circuit box and flipped the breaker. Power was restored. It’s very apparent that the wiring is old in this home. This was our 6th Palm Springs rental and it was our least favorite. This property has great potential and could be a real gem if the owners invest in it.

We're a group of 3 married couples (and longtime friends) who would frequently vacation in Palm Springs. It didn't take long to appreciate what a special community exists, and we were fortunate enough to pick up this house in 2008. Our love for the house and the town has only grown, and we're so happy to share both with our guests.
