Great location — close to so much!

The apartment is nicely appointed, bed is comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. We were able to walk to most of our planned excursions — so many cafes and restaurants! Lots of shopping close by…Metro close and HOHO bus also easy to use! The Louvre is around the corner!The only difficulty we had was with the lack of an elevator, on the 4th floor — 76 steps up and down — would not be an appropriate place to stay for anyone who has any walking/mobility or fitness/cardiac issues — we planned our time out so we could minimize the need to go up the steps.

Fantastic place

We loved our stay here over Christmas. The location can’t be beat. We were close to everything we wanted to visit and there’s a metro station across the street. Just as a heads up, the person checking us in did not live there but ten minutes away, which I didn’t know, so the precision of the check in time mattered. Our flight was delayed, and I didn’t have a way to communicate in the air or right when we landed, so I think there was some frustration that they had to wait on us for about an hour. Otherwise, the place was clean and the full kitchen was great for keeping food since a lot of things were closed on Christmas Day. This is a really amazing flat!!!

Perfect place to stay!

Great location, the apartment is warm and cosy and beautifully decorated, just like in the photos. Lots of great places to eat nearby, favourite one being Angelina tea house only around the corner. Veronica was fantastic in her communication and assistance. Hope to return some day :)

Great flat in the heart of the Louvre district

We really enjoyed our stay in this apt. The location could not have been better, and it was very comfortable / clean. Even though it was starting to be fall weather, it was warm, the supplied fans and cooler really helped. Our hosts met us, just to give a quick orientation and then let us do what we were there to do, romp around Paris. Be aware there are a few flights of stairs to climb, but we were already getting 14K+ steps just around the city, so a few more vertical ones before could plop down and relax was no big deal. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others. Thank You!

Home away from home

This lovely flat welcomes me to Paris with the feeling of comfort and convenience. It is ideally located and has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful stay. I prefer it to most hotels and have stayed here several times. It is quiet, chic, well layed out, and fully equipped. If you are not fully mobile, the stairs may be a problem for you, but for me it is a nice form of exercise with old world Parisian charm. The host is a great communicator, who responds very quickly.

Everything was fine with the apartment - I knew it was on the 4th floor and no elevator as well as the toilet is in the shower area. My only complaint is that the air conditioner unit was useless, it didn't work well at all and it was very hot out so we just had to leave the windows open - but they meet us promptly upon arrival and were very nice. Veronica responded quickly to my texts and was helpful.

Gorgeous apartment, unbelievable location, great host.

Had a beautiful time in Paris, and staying at this apartment was a big part of that. Literally steps from the Tuileries Garden, a few minutes in any direction to all the best sites: the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, D'Orsay. The host of this apartment was gracious and accommodating, and has impeccable style. Such a comfortable, delightful place to spend a week in Paris. Clean, modern, up-to-date furnishing, beautiful shower and soaking bath, balconied windows to enjoy the morning breeze, fully stocked kitchen. It is a 4-story walk-up, like a lot of Paris apartments, but has a lovely winding wooden staircase that made even that a pleasure. I really have nothing negative to say: book it, you'll love it.

Parisian Gem

Thank you Veronica. Once again I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at your beautiful apartment. I had my 2 teenage neices and we found the apartment very comfortable and spacious for the 4 of us. The girls enjoyed the close proximity to everything... short walk to Angelina, meuseums, Restaurants, excellent shopping, l'Opera, Seine, Eiffel Tower, cooking school, the food markets, Christmas markets and so much more. We cooked some meals at home as the girls enjoyed relaxing at the apartment too. The sofa bed was very comfortable and big enough for 2 teenagers. The apartment feels like myHome away from Home for me and I am looking forward to visiting again in 2017. Thank you once again. Meet Christmas and a happy new year!

Host canceled the day before our stay

This was my worst experience with a VRBO. The host cancel the day before and we were already in France. We had to find a last minute hotel and paid over double what we would have paid. The host claimed that there was a water leak “emergency”, I highly doubt this really happened the day before. She didn’t tell me until right after I contacted her the day before.

Well Worth the Climb!

The property was just as described. It was very clean, contemporary and attractive, had wonderful light in both living room and bedroom, had all the features necessary to live, cook, bathe, store clothes and belongings and relax comfortably in its spacious rooms. Location was excellent only a few minutes to Tuileries, the Louvre, shopping on Rue Rivoli and St. Honore and just short walks to several metro stations that covered the entire metropolitan area. The apartment, as advertised, was on the fourth floor accessed via a spiral staircase, seventy-six steps from street level, a bit daunting after walking miles daily and transporting groceries including water upstairs but even at 68 and 71 years of age respectively, my wife and I managed just fine regardless. The toilet shares space with a full shower and small sink, odd for Americans perhaps but given that there is a full main bath with tub additionally, quite navigable. We cooked and washed clothes with no difficulty and the appliances, full compliment of cookware, dishware and flatware made for easy and comfortable living. For anyone looking to have an experience of living in a neighborhood like a local instead of residing in a hotel room, this space offered a delightful setting to do so. We both would recommend this apartment without reservation.

Tout était parfait!

Everything was perfect, from first contact with our wonderful and accommodating owner, Diana Veronica, to our last day at the Saint-Roch apartment. Perfectly located near the Tuileries, the apartment is a quick walk to the metro where we traveled all over Paris. The design of the apartment is superbly intelligent and has been built with high quality materials. My daughter and I had a luxurious experience with the comfortable beds, well-designed kitchen and bathrooms, large windows (with blackout curtains!), and ample storage. My husband and younger daughter joined us for our last night and morning at the apartment, and all four of us fit comfortably. There is a main bedroom plus a sofa bed in the separate living area; a full bathroom with shower as well as a large claw foot tub in main bedroom. It was a saving grace to return home to a long soak each day after miles of walking. I truly have not a single complaint. The place is wonderful, and Diana Veronica is a friendly and responsive owner: She met us upon our arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the apartment, and she always responded promptly when we had questions. Ten stars!

Photos not of the space are not true

We booked this apartment based on the fact that the description says 2 bedroom and in the photographs there is an entire 3rd room in the photos. The 3rd room in the photos does not exist in the apartment. The advertisement/description is a lie. We were traveling for work and needed the 3 beds/sofas for our stay. The fact that there was an entire room missing in the middle of fashion week was a huge inconvenience as we had to scramble to find another location to sleep. The images where there is slanted ceiling windows does not exist. The apartment if advertised correctly and appropriate for our needs would have been wonderful and received 5 stars from me. The fact that they lie in their post/ad/description and the apartment was not what we thought we were renting is why I rated them so low.

Great location but be aware of false advertising!

We were really let down by the misleading information. It says a 2 bedroom when it is a one bedroom with a sofa bed right next to the bedroom. this means NO PRIVACY. When we arrived, we let the owner know how miss leading her listing is and her exact words were “ it’s only for 3 days. I would understand if it was for a week. I can refund you if you want and you go to a hotel” ... The mattress of the only bed is very uncomfortable and the sofa bed even worst. My husband, his daughter and I all left with back pain. The toilet and shower are located across the apartment, in the general living area... The toilet is literally inside the shower room, so when you shower, the toilet gets wet and a puddle develops. Good thing: The property is extremely centrally located. You have tons of restaurants, shops, and ATM across the street. It is well priced and owner had a convertir for US ports.

Location, location, and all new wonderful apartment!!

My brother and I with two 12-13 year old daughters met for a week here in Paris. We also rented the tiny studio on the top floor, but we were quite comfortable in the flat and only used the studio for showering and for the dads to get away in the evening for a quiet chat. The flat is on a quiet street, four stories up, and very well designed for a couple (if there are more than two, you should know each other well). The owner is a lovely lady who worked very hard to design the perfect living space in two rooms, with washing machine and small shower/toilet, lots of closet space, and a nice kitchen area which we never used. There are great boulangeries right around the corner, and a Starbucks is a block or two away. Plenty of great bistros, a wine shop, a grocery store are all in two minutes' walk. The Louvre, shopping on Rue St Honoré, and two metro stops close by make this a perfect place for a stay in Paris. Note that the studio is on the 6th floor (no elevator) and is really quite small; the photo of Sacré Coeur is from the studio window, and the next three photos are of this room; the flat is on the fourth floor so it's possible to rent both places and have two couples who get together for meals in the flat. The design of the space is superb and the owner has really done an excellent job of fitting the spaces out; great sheets, pillows, towels etc. Highly recommended (I hesitate to say too much because we plan to stay here again and I don't want too much competition!). Owner speaks English and Spanish and is very responsive by email. We had a super week!

Great location ,nice flat but.....

Great location one block from the Tuilleries Garden off the Rue de Rivoli in the middle of high end shops eateries .The Flat is on the 4th floor with no lift so there is a lot of exercise involved. It's nice and bright and roomy for 2-3 people. However, we did'nt get much of a welcome from the person who met us (for the owner) and left right away without much info (ie how to work the washer, TV etc). We found that there wasn't any trash bin in the bathroom nor was there any bathing soap , hand towels or extra bath towels. Since we were staying for 7 days it would have been nice to have more than one towel each. Most of the dinnerware was high on the shelves and yet no step stool to get at them. Because the shower was also in the toilet (Yes ! I know) there wasn't any extra bath mats except one that was of dubious cleanliness . There was a washer but no dryer which was OK but the rack was a cheap one that would not stay up. We did call the owner about having some towels dropped off but she said "It would be too much trouble for her to do so.....HMMM). It was a nice property and we enjoyed our stay inspire of the shortcomings . Great location, lovely remodel but less than advertised

The apartment is in a great location – a half block from the Tuileries and close to the Metro. However, be advised that it is a fourth-floor walk-up with a semi-winding staircase, so pack light! The unit, newly remodeled and very modern, had a number of deficiencies. Advertised as a 2-bedroom unit with dining and living areas as well as air conditioning, what we found was only one bedroom and a living room with a convertible sleeper sofa that was sagging and dirty. The dining area turned out to be the cocktail table that was supposed to convert to a dining table, but was broken. The air conditioner, a De’Longhi portable unit, had clogged filters and required constant recharging with water in order to run efficiently. At one point it no longer cooled and was incapable of coping with the 90 degree Paris heat. In addition, the shower drain was substantially obstructed so when showering, the entire bathroom flooded. There were several electrical problems: outlets on each side of the fireplace not working, an unusable plug next to the bed, and a power strip in the kitchen that dangled precariously over the stove. Since we paid a higher price for these amenities, and ended up waiting two days for an air conditioner repairman, we feel that we cannot rate our stay higher than 3 stars. To her credit, the owner of the apartment did respond to our complaints, had the shower drain fixed, and found a repairman to service the AC -- a substantial feat in Paris in August. In addition, she gave us a rebate for the days we were without air conditioning.
