YouÂŽll have the entire basement for yourself and your friends.

Welcome to our cozy ~100 -year-old home! The space you will have to yourself is our basement with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette/laundry, private bathroom and a spacious living room. The unit has its own private entrance secured with a keyless deadbolt. These areas are not shared with us, but we do occupy the main floor of the home. As to be expected with older homes, sounds, creaks, footsteps, voices or laughter may be heard by all. If you are looking for absolute privacy this might not be the best place for you. We are very respectful of our guest's privacy and we will not directly interact with you during your stay.

That being said, we are thrilled to welcome you and your companions to our home! We have included basic amenities for you to feel at home. We are well-located just 10 minutes away from downtown Denver and 1.7 miles away from one of the main highways to drive straight into the mountains for outdoor activities and incredible ski resorts during the winter! Huston Lake Park is only one block away and it has a beautiful scenic view of the mountains for you to enjoy!

PETS: We consider our home "pet friendly", meaning that your 4 legged friends are welcome to stay with us (PLEASE SEE HOUSE RULES). Please note that we do not provide pet care, toys, treats, secured backyard, etc.
As such, we kindly ask our guests to please DO NOT LEAVE PETS UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME (It is the guest responsibility to care for their own pets. Please take into consideration that we are providing accessories such as lamps, speakers, etc. for the guest's comfort which may be damaged by pets. If any item is missing or damaged a claimed will be filed through the website).
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE BEDS, COUCHES OR FURNITURE. Please be respectful of our home and future guests :)

PARTIES POLICY: We welcome the noise of friends and family get togethers while vacationing. Respectfully we ask that you to keep the number of people staying limited to the number indicated on the reservation, and additional visitors to only a few, as we do not allow parties in the property.

NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE THE HOUSE.

We have SECURITY CAMERAS around the perimeter of the home. However, be sure to not to leave anything of value on sight in your car. And make sure you lock your doors as a precaution.

We had thee best stay! Hosts were incredibly accommodating - picked up supplies when we forgot items when we first arrived. Then offered to take us grocery shopping and dropped off delicious burritos. Their dog was soo cute, too! Overall, we felt right at home. So grateful for your hospitality.

Great spot!

Process was very simple, house was great for me and six friends. Parking was a little tight, as we all drove separately but there is plenty of street parking to accommodate. Very comfortable furnishings, close access to I25 so getting anywhere was simple.

Nice Place, bad kitchen

Perfectly fine place, a decent basement-to-ADU conversion. Kitchenette was very disappointing. My group and I spent a decent chunk of change on breakfast supplies for our multi-day stay, only to discover that all the pans in the kitchen were incompatible with the induction stovetop, and barely heated up/ took us over an hour and a half to make scrambled eggs and bacon. I tried to message the hosts but they didn’t respond until hours after to tell us there is an electric griddle tucked away in one of the cabinets. However, to my understanding, they will be fixing the problem for future guests.

So cozy

We had a great stay! The basement is huge and super comfortable. The massage chair was amazing. The best part for us was playing with the owners dog Mochi. Such a sweetheart!! We will definitely stay again if we need a place close to downtown! Owners were so nice and accommodating!!!

Nice clean, quiet place

We used this place as a crash pad while we went out exploring in downtown Denver. It suited our needs perfectly. It’s a clean, cozy place big enough for a large group. The massage chair was nice, and the patio is pleasant.

Charm and excellent location

It was a last-minute decision to stay at this property in Denver and boy are we glad we decided to do that. We added on two extra days to our visit to the state of Colorado and decided we wanted to be in the suburbs near the city of Denver. we had scheduled a food tour and museum tour for our family during our stay. The property we rented not only gave us an excellent starting ending point but afforded us an amazing opportunity to try different restaurants and see different communities. The home is located a block away from a local park where we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset at the lake and a quick dinner from one of the local Restaurants in the neighborhood. The host provided us with everything we could have possibly needed continually asking us if we needed anything else. They provided us with excellent recommendations for food and for entertainment as well as good conversation. The property was adorable and we were able to utilize both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Garden and yard were a treat to sit at at night and have a few beverages. In the morning we enjoyed our coffee on the back porch, listening to the birds. I would highly recommend staying here, either for a short or a long stay.

Great Property to Stay at & Very Convenient Location

This VRBO was everything we expected and the owners did a great job explaining everything, complete with a manual on site. The backyard is quite nice to relax in. Everything was accurately described and the owners were very reasonable and worked with us when we had some unexpected circumstances come up. We would stay here again.

This was a great place to stay for our weekend trip to Denver, we had a big group of friends and it accommodated us all so well! This cute little basement is set up to ensure you’re comfortable and well taken care of, it has plenty of sleeping space as well as room to just hangout and have a good time!! The owners were also INCREDIBLE!! They were super helpful with communicating beforehand and answering question both leading up to the trip and while we were there! They also took good care of everything, they shoveled the driveway multiple times throughout the day when it snowed! And they were accommodating when our plans changed around a little bit, and quick to respond when we had questions too!! Overall such a good experience staying here, would absolutely recommend it to any groups staying in Denver! Thank you Mariel and Damon!!

Plenty of space

We ascended on the property like vultures, all 10 of us! We found plenty of sleeping area, the couch was super comfy and slept 2. The private room was claimed by my son and girlfriend who got there several hours ahead of the rest of us. Wr had planned on cooking, but never did There was enough parking for 2 vehicle. There are scooter and electric bike rentals with Lime a few blocks away and plenty of dining within walking distancs. It is in an area called Little Saigon so mostly Vietnamese food nearby. The only downside was only one bathroom, limited cooking space and the futon was uncomfortable.
