Elk Lake Lodge is a beautiful log cabin with stunning views of Henry's Lake and Sawtelle Mountain and is only 20 miles to West Yellowstone! Come relax and enjoy this family friendly retreat perfectly situated to soak in legendary Idaho sunsets every evening! With year round access, you can enjoy the legendary snowfall by snowmobile on over 900 miles of groomed trails or come during the popular summer months of gorgeous weather where the list of activities, historic sites and nature to see is endless.
Our clean and well maintained cabin is approximately 2950sq ft. with a walk out basement and main floor balcony that overlooks Henry's Lake. With 6 private bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, everyone in your group will have a comfy room to retire to, but will also have plenty of room to mingle together in the 2 large common areas - both with large screen TVs.

This gorgeous area is a huge outdoor playground! Aside from the fishing, snowmobiling, boating, ATV-riding, hiking, horseback riding, rodeos, cross country skiing, bird watching, hunting and touring; Island Park's scenic and historical sites are some of the other popular activities. There are Outfitters for nearly every activity along with plenty of maps and guide books for the visitor who wants to experience Island Park on their own. Nearby Yellowstone Park is one of the main draws of the area where you could spend a wonderful day or even multiple days exploring! Henry's Lake is world famous for its fishing and it's not uncommon to catch 7 pound trout out of this lake. It also boasts its own fish hatchery quite near the cabin that help produce and replenish the fish habitat.
