The property offers 5,000 square-feet of tastefully decorated living space featuring top of the line amenities and exquisite furnishings designed for your comfort and enjoyment. The lodge boasts sweeping 14' walls and massive 26" beams throughout. A large gas fireplace complements the spacious living room and dining room area. The dining room features a gorgeous 12' custom made epoxy river table to accommodate seating for your entire party. Similarly, the living room offers ample elegant and comfortable seating, perfect for gathering with family and friends, or cozy up around the inviting fireplace. The main floor also features a premium gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and huge center island. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand name appliances (dual refrigerators, dual ovens), and a wide variety of condiments and spices to inspire the chef in you!

The three living floors offer functionality, comfort, and privacy for everyone. The lower floor features a family/TV room with gas fireplace, foosball and air hockey tables. The cabin sleeps up to fourteen, with four master bedroom suites exclusively designed for privacy and outfitted with comfortable beds and high quality linens for your night time comfort. The four bedroom suites offer king size beds, complete with a private ensuite bathroom. The fifth bedroom offers the perfect sleep-over experience with three queen beds. Each master bathroom offers a tiled walk-in shower. The fifth bathroom has a full shower/tub combination to accommodate the little-ones. Additional features include two beautiful covered patios boasting a large jacuzzi tub, BBQ grill, outdoor dining table, firepit, and much more.

Explore the beauty and magic of Yellowstone National Park by planning your own adventure, or by choosing a guided tour of the park. There is plenty to do in the area, including world-class fly fishing, hiking, horseback riding, white water rafting, kayaking, boating, water skiing, shopping, dining, theater, and sightseeing, among other things.

The town of West Yellowstone offers fun for the whole family including Yellowstone Historic Center, antique shops, the Grizzly Discovery Center, the IMAX Theater featuring daily showings. Gorgeous home to make lasting memories!

This was the best property to make lasting memories with our family and friends. The home is decorated perfectly for the West Yellowstone area. It is so spacious with several common areas that allowed us to gather and recap our Yellowstone adventures. This property was well stocked with all the essentials. The owner’s communication earned him a 5/5. We love this home away from home and would definitely book again.

Family Christmas Gift - Winter Trip to Yellowstone

Every year we give our family a "family vacation" as a Christmas gift. Hence the need for a place for all of us to stay. This VRBO was fantastic for us, our kids and grandkids. This year there were 8 adults and 4 kids (15, 13, 11, 9). The expression on all as they walked in was priceless. Beautifully decorated and spacious. The kitchen and dining room was perfect for family meals and playing cards and games. Each bedroom is spacious and private. The family room downstairs was great for the kids - they felt they had their own "apartment". Just too many great things to say about this rental and not enough space :) A great time by all and close to Yellowstone and pick up place for our Winter Tour w/Seeyellowstone Tours. Again Thank you.

Incredible house close to Yellowstone!

We had a wonderful time at the Ponderosa Lodge! It was perfect for our 2 families (total of 9) traveling together. We all said it was one of the nicest vacation homes we've ever stayed in. We wished we could have stayed longer! Everything was very clean, well-stocked and the host provided great directions. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing Property with Every Detail Covered

Our groups chose the Ponderosa Lodge for our travel to the West Yellowstone area. Our first impression of the property was how beautiful and spacious it was in the photos. Then after reading pervious traveler reviews it quickly jumped to the top of our list of places to stay. We were just amazed at the attention to detail, the amenities and all the thought that was put into the cabin. The cleanliness and preparation rivaled most 5star hotels we have stayed in. Even the kitchen was completely stocked with every appliance we could have needed. There was plenty of space for all our travelers, room to relax and spend time together and even have full dinners at the luxurious dining room table. Rand, the owner, left a complete stay guide which fully explained, not only all the amenities that were offered, but even how to properly care for the home, the location of items that may be needed....right down to the remote controls for each room. We will definitely come back to stay at the Ponderosa Lodge again!

The best possible mountain getaway for our group of friends!

We are a group of friends who are visiting national parks, and Ponderosa Lodge was everything and more that we were looking for during our Yellowstone visit. It was beautiful , spacious, had everything we possibly needed, and the surrounding view was stunning. It was close to West Yellowstone/Yellowstone, had top notch amenities, including the hot tub, which looked out over the forest. All of our friends agreed we would return to your home in a minute!! Perfect for family gathering in luxury

We stayed 4 nights, with family from north central Montana, central Iowa, and Michigan. We arrived after dinner our first night, but were immediately wowed with the space and all the amenities. I don't think the pictures on the web site do this location justice. We were impressed that everything we could think of, that we wanted to prepare food, drinks, etc., was available. The two outside fire tables were great for early morning outside coffee, and again in the afternoon / early evening. The grandkids enjoyed the game room. Internet and cell service were great, which you have a hard time getting within Yellowstone in most areas. We had a bonus in that we were able to meet Rand and Sonia. They are obviously committed to providing as perfect an experience as possible, especially for families. While we were there, we saw moose on 4 days, with 3 of those days both mother and younger moose. Highly recommend.

Outstanding - just like the pictures

We had an excellent week at Ponderosa Lodge. There was plenty of room for our large multi-generation family. The 4 master suites with en-suite baths make it easy for the adults to choose their place. The downstairs game room was fantastic for kids and held the only TV. Hidden in the cabinets are a multitude of games in case the weather keeps you in the lodge. There are 2 (yes 2) washers and dryers to help you keep up with the laundry. The house was fully stocked with paper products (sometimes shortchanged in other VRBOs). The kitchen was out of this world. It stocked almost anything you could need. The kitchen furnishings (appliances, pans, flatware, etc) were top notch.There were 2 refrigerators (we used one exclusively for drinks). The kitchen had plenty of space for 6 adults to be cooking simultaneously. Great place for a group reunion. We would return in a heartbeat. It may seem somewhat expensive, but it is worth the extra $$.

Luxury in West Yellowstone

We had a family vacation to West Yellowstone at the end of June, and we stayed at this beautiful house. Everything exceeded our expectations. Rand and Sonia were extremely easy to work with, and they responded when I had questions about the hot tub and the electricity. Both were very minor issues that were resolved in minutes. The best feature of this home is the space it provides. Each couple got an extremely comfortable king bedroom with attached bathroom. Each bathroom had a double sink and a rain shower with beautiful stone accents. The home was beautifully decorated with a rustic, western feel with some very upscale furnishings. While all five master bedrooms had the same offerings, each one was decorated in a unique way. The kids' room in the basement had three queen beds, which worked perfectly for the mix of ages of children in our group. The downstairs living area and game room was a nice addition as well. There is only one tv in the entire house in this downstairs living area, but our group appreciated the break from a tv being on all the time! Upstairs, we especially loved the spacious living area, dining area, and kitchen. It was great that it was one enormous room, so that those that were cooking could still be a part of the conversation. The dining table held everyone beautifully, and it was especially nice for big group games! The location of this house was ideal for visiting the parks! Our visit was fantastic, and I would highly recommend this property!

We were very impressed with the Ponderosa property. The home was beautiful and the distance from West Yellowstone was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and were impressed with the bedrooms and on-suites! Our stay was fun, relaxing, and memorable. Pure Joy at Ponderosa

This is so much more than a cabin. We were able to spread out after a day of tours. We sat around the fire and watched snow in June. We gazed out the huge windows at moose. We were spoiled around every turn, yet always felt cozy at home. Thank you Rand and Sophia. This was an amazing respite from Yellowstone and the wonderful activities of the town. Mountain setting!

My favorite was the perfect kitchen with everything you needed and so spacious! The game room down stairs for 6 Grandsons and Granddaughter and oldest Grandson’s girlfriend was perfect with the foosball table and air hockey and their own TV. The little guys liked the room under the staircase to play their devices. The location was called evening to town, lake and Yellowstone and the near by rodeo and horseback riding. We felt we made a great choice. We lived all the windows so we could see outside and feel we were in the mountains. Thank you for all the perks regarding bathroom accessories and kitchen being so well stocked and laundry room. It just added to our first Yellowstone trip for this Oklahoma and Virginia family. This was our first time to visit Montana and also to see Yellowstone National Park. We loved every moment! Our family of 11 spent 5 nights in this beautiful home nestled among pine trees. It was a very quiet area with only a few other homes nearby. The 4 master suites along with a big bedroom and game room on the lower level for the the kids were perfect for us. All the bedrooms are far enough off the main living area to be quiet for those going to bed early or sleeping in late. The large open kitchen, dining, and living room with fireplace was beautifully and comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, bakeware, dishes and utensils. We found lots of spices stocked in the cabinets, too. Two refrigerators held all the food and drinks we needed for our stay. Having 2 washers and dryers was also a plus. We enjoyed having the use of a gas grill and the tables with the lighted fire rings were a great place to be on the cool evenings. There is a large fire ring area in the backyard, but rainy days kept us from using it. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub after our long days of sightseeing in the park. We had the opportunity to meet the owners while we were there. They were very personable and helpful throughout the booking process and our stay. They take great pride in their homes and provide a clean, comfortable place for all to enjoy. The housekeeper and maintenance man were both quick to respond on our first day when we had issues with the lock. If we ever go back to Yellowstone, we would rent this house again.
