La Villa Verdier is set on a hilly position, at the edge of the famous busy village of Les Eyzies, the capital of Prehistory. With all the "must see sights" of the Dordogne in a very close radius it is the ideal base from which to explore both the Vezere and the Dordogne Valleys.

"Generous" is definitely the key word for this massive stone house which offers large spaces, a bright huge lounge, 4 bedrooms with AC, 2 modern shower rooms and a perfectly fitted kitchen. With its large terraces, heated private swimming pool and more than 4500m2 grassy garden surrounded by woods, it is the perfect place to escape to with extended family or group of friends.


INDOOR DESCRIPTION

With a total area of 200m², La Villa Verdier offers on the ground floor:
* A very spacious living room with a 5m high ceiling and a majestic stone fireplace, providing a log fire in spring and autumn. Grouped here are two comfortable sofas, two armchairs and a coffee table.
The room is very light and bright thanks to its two huge sliding glass doors leading to the front terrace, pool and garden.
* On the opposite side of the living room is a small TV open plan room with two armchairs, shelves with books and a large flat screen TV.
* There is a formal dining table and 8 seats for you to dine all together.
* Adjacent is the kitchen which is fitted with a sink, side by side fridge/freezer, 4 electric rings, an oven and a microwave. There are plenty of dishes and utensils for you to enjoy cooking.
* Next is the laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing table and storage area.
* The master bedroom is set on the ground floor, at the end of a small corridor offering quiet and privacy. It comes with a large double bed, two bedside tables, a wardrobe, and benefits from a door leading up to the front terrace area.
* it enjoys a very spacious newly fitted shower room with two washbasins and an XXL walk in shower.
* A separate toilet is also available at this level.

From the entrance, the solid staircase leads to the 1st floor:
* The large landing and mezzanine area overlooks the living room underneath and has been furnished with two armchairs for the children to play in.

OUTSIDE DESCRIPTION

* The spacious terrace runs nearly the entire width of the house. It is equipped with a large wooden table and chairs and a gas bbq. Although there is a big parasol, you will appreciate the shadow of our majestic oak tree during those hot summer days. The terrace overlooks the swimming pool and therefore is ideal to oversee the children.
* There is another terrace facing the west. It catches the evening sun and is the perfect place to enjoy a glass (or two!!) at aperitive time.
* The pool has a round shape. It is 8m diameter, from 1,2 m to 1.8 m deep and is secured with an alarm and fenced for safety. The pool area is equipped with loungers and parasol. For your comfort it is heated from early May to mid October.
There is a shower next to the pool
* The 4500m2 gardens, mostly with grass, are ideal for the children to play in. Surronded by woods, it abounds in wildlife such as rabbits, deer, owls, hawks, and woodpeckers. For walkers there are many footpaths starting from the hamlet.
* For your entertainement you will enjoy a table tennis table, a trampoline and darts
* 4 cars can easily be parked into the property.
