BonVue Oceanfront House in Ponte Vedra Beach / St Aug

Welcome to BonVue!

From the moment you enter the front door of our home you are enveloped by a beautiful panoramic view of the intense blue sea and sky. Walk out the french doors and over the beachside deck and a few more steps and you're on the sand.

Our ocean front cottage is located between Jacksonville Beach and St. Augustine, in South Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, directly on the ocean. It is very private, with the public accesses located 1 mile to the north and 1 mile to the south. Guana Reserve State Park is across A1A to the west (which offers great nature hikes, bicycling, kayaking and fishing on the Tolomato River). Enjoy stargazing and beach walks at night and beach combing and swimming during the day.

The house boasts 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (each with bathtubs) with 2 couches in the living room. One of these couches pulls out into a full size bed for additional sleeping space! Dining table with custom made benches accommodates six people. New high count linens and fresh pillows lie atop the full size bed and queen size bed in the bedrooms, with an additional twin size cot in the first bedroom. The floors are wood and Mexican tile, with wood ceilings with recessed lights in the wide living area which faces the ocean. Take delight in the flat-screen television and high-speed WiFi internet which is on site.

Enjoy the Adirondack chairs on the beachside deck while watching dolphins swim by. An outdoor shower is available to wash off after swimming. Come and enjoy this wonderful escape from the stresses of everyday life!

Perfect Place, Perfect Stay

WOW. This place did not disappoint. I wanted a place where I could see and hear the ocean all day and night. This was the perfect place for that. Beautiful ocean views out all the windows. A large back porch to enjoy a coffee or a cocktail. Very private beach area where we could relax or walk with our dogs. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We absolutely loved our stay and already want to go back!

Comfy House on Idyllic Beach

The home has all the comforts of home on a beach with very few people. The view is stunning. The verandah has adirondack chairs that are perfect for relaxing. The appliances are new and we appreciated the washer and dryer.

We had a great week. Second time staying. Feels so comfortable and tranquil sitting on the large deck overlooking the beach. Would highly recommend. Close to restaurants and a quick drive to St Augustine.

Our favorite beach house

This is our second stay at this beach house and we love it! It's an older house but it has everything that you would need. It is directly on the beach and away from crowds. Our Florida getaway beach house. We hope to come visit on a regular basis

A perfect week

We have stayed at several properties along this strip of beach, and this was by far the best for us. The house had everything we needed, and was just enough room for our family of 6 to have space but still be on vacation together. Also had great contact and communication with the owners. It was wonderful and we will absolutely look to stay here again.

Perfect Little Beach House

This is the cutest little yellow beach house. It is perfectly located for trips to both St. Augustine or Jacksonville, or you can just lounge on the beach. Everything was clean and ready to go, from towels to toys to dishes. We did a decent amount of cooking and didn’t want for any utensils. Megan was a great host, and was totally on top of things, not that we had any issues. Overall, we’d rent it again tomorrow if we had the vacation time!

Megan went above and beyond with communication and kept us informed.

The house was exactly as listed and even though they had some storm damage about 6 months ago, Megan kept us in the loop. She was honest and was the best host we have ever rented from. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area!

The beach house is cozy and very romantic for a couple . Excellent location close to everything . Well maintained and the best part are the beautiful sunsets , listening to the ocean waves right outside your porch . Great communication with property owner , they make you feel like home . Cozy, convenient beach house

Nice beach house right on the beach. No walking or excessive stairs for elder knees. We had a wonderful time with grandkids and conveniently ate in most nights with well supplied kitchen and nice dining area. Great view of the ocean. Beds very comfortable. We were able to take our Corgi.

Better than the 1st time

This is our second time staying . We just love it here. Views are spectacular and property is always clean. This time we cooked - found a great fish seafood market and we found all the cookware needed. We definitely will be returning .when staying here please prepare to just relax and hear the sounds of the waves. Don’t forget to arise up and see the beautiful sunrise!

Breathtaking views

This property was all that and more. Amazing views, ideal location, extraordinary cleanliness, perfectly stocked. Location is everything. This house is on the sand. A few sturdy steps up and over the retaining wall and you’re in the surf. We have stayed in several beach houses in St A and this one stands out both in the unobstructed views of the beach and in its cleanliness. The appliances including a washer and dryer are fresh and easy to use. The supplies were spot on towels, beach towels, paper goods, beach toys, cookware, utensils, even shower supplies. I really can’t say enough about this home. The management of this property was the quickest and most responsive we’ve ever experienced. The check in/out was perfectly easy. One of our most enjoyable trips ever.

Money well spent

This location is awesome close enough to everything but far enough away from the crowds. Owner is awesome, location was struck by lightning knocking out the router for the Wi-Fi. Owner was great to communicate with and had the problem fixed quickly. I would recommend this location to anyone. We will be booking again. Thank you for the best stay and vacation in a long time. I don't really want to give this little gem away and keep it a secret

Overall we were so very pleasantly surprised! This is truly a gem worth the price. The reviews are true ill say that! Excellent location, minutes from St Augustine and lots of attractions. But if you want that little beach home ON the water then this is it! The views were amazing, the water was a step away from the deck, and the beach was very nice. The ocean waves were awesome. Everything we needed was there, pots and pans, towels, chairs, grill, soap, washing machine, even trash bags. We are already planning next year's dates. Thanksgiving on the beach is pretty awesome!
