La Casita Verde is located in the mists of Cupey, (within San Juan, PR) our private three-bedroom home has all you'll ever need and more. It is located in a very peaceful neighborhood. The property is fully equipped with state of the art interiors, amenities, including free parking, fresh water pool and hot tub, a stone grill for those who like to grill. There are several nearby restaurants along with shopping centers and it is also only 15-20 mins away from Old San Juan, Isla Verde and the SJU airport.

The pool/Hot Tub has a reservation schedule for those who would like to use it, there is a limit of 4 people or a group. (This villa does not have exclusive use of the swimming pool and hot tub). The neighborhood is perfect for bike rides and afternoon walks. Our home is perfect for those looking for a quality stay in a serene location.

The house is a four apartment property. Guests are welcomed to enjoy all shared areas and are expected to reserve their time at the pool. We have placed a chart near the pool entrance where you’ll be able to easily reserve.

Example: (A3) Sunday 2-5pm

Pool hours start at 9am with a maximum of 4hrs/ group. There are no parties allowed and the pool closes at 10pm.

Great place and location to everything. Owner was quick to respond to messages. We had a water leak in the kitchen sink. They were out there the next day to fix it. The lady that lives 2 doors down amd cleans the units....she was awesome. So friendly and talkative. I woukd say here again.

We had a wonderful time staying in this apartment during our first visit to Puerto Rico, where the owners were very helpful with our questions and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly, with the roosters and iguanas being a lovely bonus that we absolutely loved.

Amazing property

I love the location. It was central to a lot of places. The place was very nice and clean the pool and the Jacuzzi were a lot of fun. The property is very well-maintained.

20 minutes away from Airport and Old (Viejo) San Juan. Recommend renting a vehicle to tour around. Uber is available but there is a wait to get one from this property.

Secluded GetAway!

It was Wonderful! Loved the clean smell once we walked in the door. Everything was nice and everything we hoped for. We needed a broom and mop and it was provided fairly quick. Neighbors were quiet. Nice when spoken to. Fairly near to everything. We would definitely rent again. Thank you so much

Clean property but misleading listing

Jason Schubert, who owns the property, was typically pretty quick to respond to messages. The apartment is overall clean and comfortable, air conditioning works great and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. There is a water cooler in the apartment for drinking water. We loved the chickens and cats around the neighborhood. The apartment is listed as 1.5 bathroom when in fact there is only one bathroom and an extra toilet (no sink) by the pool which is only accessible from the street. I found that to be misleading. The apartment is also listed as having laundry facilities but the washer did not work and no attempt was made to fix it.

The Nerve

Aside from the property being in the worst part of Puerto Rico, it was ran over by roosters, chickens, and horses. We were forced to succumb to 1-ply toilet paper, dishes that were in the cabinet had dried up food stuck to it. The remote controls to every bedroom was inoperable, and last but not least, NO FREEKIN AIR CONDITIONING. The so called pool/hot tub they advertised hadn’t been cleaned since cash money took over for the 99’-2000!! I wouldn’t recommend this property to an enemy! Thankfully I had loving and fun guests that accompanied me to make my first time coming to Puerto Rico still amazing!!

Tranita you stayed with us during a week and did not mention any of those items when you checked in. If the property would've been in such terrible conditions as you stated, why you didnt call us? why didn't you leave? 1. Cupey is in the metropolitan area close to the airport, Old San Juan, shopping centers, etc. We have never had any guest complaining about safety during their stay. Please speak with facts when talking about safety, did something happened to you during your stay? 2. You came to PR, a tropical island, yes there's chickens and roosters, as it is all around PR unless you stay in a hotel. Horses Ive never seen them around the area, next time please take a picture and share with us so we can call the authorities. Do you actually saw one and have a picture of it around the area? 3. We do have air conditioning in all three bedrooms of the house. 4. We have a pool guy going to the property TWICE a week to clean the pool. Your review has no basis/facts.

Not what it seems.

I will give you my honest opinion. Managaer communication was great always replied fast and while on the rental the guy Jonathan stayed on top of things. Very helpful. But now I will say. I don't have any pictures. But it was definitely 4 other families in this property. In the pool area after being reserved twice there's was people in the pool area with their pets. And alcoholic drinks everywhere next morning. There was no social distancing whatsoever. Manager states this is an entire house but no. Its an apartment and you share the house with other people. That look at you like you're trespassing all the time and the women there had horrible attitudes. But everything is close to you in the metro area. So I guess it's not so bad. I just think he should tell the truth in the description that this is not a full house for booking. I felt deceived into renting here and then one day before our trip is when he discloses that you will be there with like i more people and their guest.

Would not stay here again..

Let's start with the check-in process. In my opinion the check-in instructions aren't as detailed as they should be. Once we got the keys out of the lock box it took us an hour to get in. That could have been avoided if the host would have answered our phone calls to help us. After we finally got in my husband spent over an hour trying to get the AC unit to work in the room. He's a man of all skills and after trying everything we possibly could at the moment it still wouldn't work. The host said someone would be out tomorrow. No one ever showed. Host said it's because we weren't home. We came here to have fun on vacation not wait around for someone to fix the AC unit. No one ever came to fix it. The bathroom had no hot water in the sink and they made it to where you could not adjust the temperature in the shower, so it's barely warm when you shower. I hate writing reviews like this since we also run vacation rentals, but there were no real solutions offered for our problems. The host didn't seem to really care. The location was great and the neighborhood felt safe. The house itself was fine. Pool and hot tub were the best things about this place and we loved being able to relax with just our group in there.
