5 private bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms and large open concept great room. Close to walking paths, lake with great fishing, Rec center and a hot tub on the back deck. Also close to the store and many yummy restaurants. A 40 minute drive to wolf creek-the best snow in Colorado. 10 minutes to downtown to visit the world renowned Hot Springs or Healing Waters pool.
Needless to say, prime location and great for a family or friend group vacation!

Upon entering, you find yourself in a large open concept room. On the main floor you will find a king bed/ensuite and 2 rooms with a queen bed that shares a full size bathroom.
Upstairs is a second TV room and 2 more private rooms with queen bed and full. One is an ensuite and another full bathroom.

hot tub, grill and room to play in the yard out back

Thanks so much, we are so Happy you and your family enjoyed the Lake Forrest Lodge, I know the HOT TUB is a great beniefit after a long day on the ski slopes.. You will have to come in the summer or fall to enjoy the trails, fishing lakes, hiking , biking, and the thousands of acres of National forest and the abundance of wildlife that meander around the property. Beautiful Colorado Getaway

Location was perfect, view was amazing, home had most everything we needed minus a few kitchen items. The hot tub was a huge perk at the end of a day of skiing. The house was warm, inviting, and a great home away from home.

Beautiful house in a great neighborhood

House was even nicer than the photos show. Very spacious, we were group of 9, and they have everything needed to cook and entertain. It is about 40 minutes from the slopes, a bit of a drive to the mountain. Would highly recommend to all looking for space and quiet.

We loved this beautiful home! It was clean and well stocked. We usually stay further out of town so we were nervous. This is a fantastic location. We still felt like we were alone , yet close to restaurants and the Hot springs. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Winter Wonderland

Deborah We have stayed at many properties in Pagosa over the last 10 years, this was by far the best experience. Very clean, spacious and organized. It was stocked with all the needed amenities and the hot tub was a nice added bonus.

Great mountain retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The decor is rustic, and the home felt cozy. There is a loft area upstairs with two bedrooms and a common area with a sofa and a tv. It was perfect for our children. The house is close to many amenities, and a short drive to the hot springs. We would definitely stay again!

Thanks so much, yes the Lake Forrest Lodge is near the fishing lakes, recreation center, park, tennis courts ,hiking, biking trails, shopping, dining and of course you get to watch the Hot Air Balloons take flight each morning. Then in the evening a soak in the Hot Tub out on the deck under stars is the perfect place to relax and then for a good nights sleep. Perfect home

We enjoyed every bit of the home. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The only thing I would change is maybe a few more pots, pans were good (abundance). Great place, easy to get to and the covered parking was perfect, as we got snow and didn't have to clear our windshields. Hope to stay here again!

Wonderful home

The home was large and had an amazing layout for each person to have privacy & space. The yard was huge for kids to play in and had lots of wildlife. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful home. The photos do not do this home justice. It’s extremely nice inside. It had everything you need for a home away from home getaway. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

I thought it was a nice home. Large and adequately stocked with what you would need on a vacation. There are some areas that are tired and need to be freshened up to justify the price of the rent. Nice location with lake views and lots of big trees. Location was good for those that like the Fairfield area and trips to Durango and other points west.

Ooh I loved the spaciousness it worked so well for multiple families! Bathrooms & kitchens were very clean. I appreciated that all necessities were available and included too; there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms and the kitchen had all cooking items we needed to prepare a large holiday meal! Will definitley be back!

Family ski vacation

My family stayed in this beautiful mountain home for a ski vacation and had the most comfortable stay. We enjoyed how spread out the rooms were and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The never ending hot water was so nice when we all wanted to shower after a long day on the mountain. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including 2 coffee pots! A big plus for a bunch a coffee drinkers! We loved staying in and cooking meals for our family rather than eating out every night. We absolutely loved every minute of our trip and wouldn’t change a thing!

Nice getaway

The property was spacious and comfortable for 8 adults. The master bedroom/bathroom was extremely cold in December. Overall, nice experience and would consider booking again but not in the winter.

Amazing place for large party!

This was an incredible property for our large family who also hosted Thanksgiving dinner for other local family members. The amount of cooking utensils/cutlery/cups was amazing. The location was great. A bunch of us run and the paths nearby were easy to access and beautiful! One thing that might be improved is the number of compact trash bags provided, as we were only given one for a 5 day stay and we ran through that pretty quickly. There was also not enough paper towel provided. One additional note, the hot tub on the first day was pretty stinky - there was some film along the side as well. We ended up adding the provided chemicals and it was vastly improved but might just be a few things for the management crew to keep an eye on. Overall, still a 5 star stay, Would recommend this location time and time again.

Nice spacious house

Great house for a larger family. We stayed with our adult children and everyone had their own space and privacy. We all enjoyed the porches and watching the local wildlife (deer and foxes) and hot air balloons. The host was quick to answer any questions we had.
