Come live out your desert dreams in our stylish contemporary home tucked into the hills of Joshua Tree. This property is secluded and surrounded by boulders. Conveniently located minutes from the west entrance Joshua Tree National Park. La Luna Azul boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a large bright living room, full kitchen, dining room with indoor fireplace, hot tub tucked into the boulders and an outdoor BBQ grill and fire pit with seating to sit back and relax and enjoy the stars above.
• THE SPACE
The house is surrounded by windows allowing tons of natural light to freely flow in and boasts beautiful views of the desert boulders in every direction. The unique polished cement floors sprawl through the entire house offering a clean and contemporary space to relax in. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4 people; a king bed in the larger room and a queen in the second room makes the sleeping arrangements comfortable and private.
The property is yours to roam and relax. With multiple separate lounge areas, we have created the perfect setting for a cup of coffee with the sunrise or a cocktail during Golden Hour.
• THE OUTDOORS
The large property comes equipped with outdoor amenities including outdoor dining table, large sitting area around an outdoor fire pit including large table and a hot tub tucked into the boulders for relaxing and incredible stargazing. There are also Walla Wallas that have made a home in the boulders, they are super shy and like to be left alone but are pretty neat to see them sitting on the rocks soaking up the sun.

There will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation

Pets off all kinds are NOT allowed.
• A/C
La Luna Azul is cooled by mini splits in each room. This will help keep the house cool during warmer desert days and warmer during those chilly nights.
• HOT TUB
The hot tub is set up to automatically filter so you may hear it turning itself on and off. That is totally normal.
• WASHER/DRYER
La Luna Azul has a washer and dryer available to guests that's are staying with us for an extended period for 3 or more days. If you are traveling with an infant or young children please let us know and we will give you access to the laundry room too.
• FIRE
Due to the location and a current open fire ban there is a strict no outside wood burning fire policy. If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, using fireworks or other open fire means your rental agreement will be terminated and you will be asked to leave.
WE DO HAVE A PROPANE FIRE PIT FOR YOUR USE AND ENJOYMENT.
• GUESTS
You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.
• IDENTITY VERIFICATION
You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used.
By renting this property, guest acknowledges that they have read, understand and accept the terms listed above.

Looking to throw a dinner party to remember? We have got you covered! Our private chef is simply the best and she can cater that whatever your specific food needs would be. Please inquire with us and we can introduce you to her.
