Above All Else @ Windsong liegt in einer ruhigen Ecke des Windsong Arabians Mayland Pferd Bauernhof. Bringen Sie Ihr eigenes Pferd (e) oder schauen Sie uns grasen neben der Hirsche, wie Sie auf der Veranda sitzen und die Aussicht genießen! (A corral geeignet für vier kompatiblen Pferde ist in diesem Ferienhaus enthalten.) Diese Ferienwohnung ist ideal für kleine Familienfeiern oder Versammlungen, sowie für Betriebe für Ihre Hochzeitsfeier, Promotionen, Retreats und Feiern jeglicher Art. (Wir haben nicht genügend Platz für Hochzeiten, Empfänge, Partys, ETC. Maximale Anzahl der Gäste auf dem Grundstück ist 10). Above All Else ist zentral in Washington DC, Baltimore, Harpers Ferry, Ellicott City, Hagerstown, und Gettysburg gelegen. Das Haus hat vier Schlafzimmer, drei Badezimmer mit WC, eine komplett ausgestattete Küche / Esszimmer, ein Wohnzimmer, TV-Raum, und Waschküche - sowie eine Veranda und eine hintere Deck. Wir liefern die Bettwäsche und Handtücher.

Es gibt 5 Golfplätze in der Nähe. Auch in der Nähe gibt es 2 State Parks mit Seen. In Harpers Ferry gibt es einen Fluss tubingor Wildwasser-Rafting! Gehen Sie zu einem Weinfest (unsere Nachbarn, Linganore Weinkeller) oder Shopping. Oder einfach nur wohnen "Heimat" und sitzen auf der Veranda oder dem Deck! Vor allem aber lieben Sie die Ruhe!

Bettwäsche und Dinge: Danke, aber wir bevorzugen und bitten Sie, uns zu unserem eigenen Bettwäsche waschen lassen. Wenn es eine Notwendigkeit für mehr Handtücher oder Bettwäsche sind als in dem Haus zur Verfügung, rufen Sie uns einfach und wir werden Ihnen zusätzliche Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Wir haben Flecken Behandlungen und Wasserstoffperoxid zur Verfügung, um Flecken / Blut zu behandeln, bevor sie von uns gewaschen.

Perfection!

The setting is beautiful and peaceful. The home is warm and cozy. It was definitely a home away from home. A perfect location. relaxing and rural yet convenient and not far from town. We would definitely recommend it. We stayed for our daughters wedding, it was a perfect place to get ready and the photos were amazing.

A Great Fall Getaway

We were in town visiting family for a few days and had a wonderful stay at the farm. The beauty of the property is breathtaking and you'd be hard pressed to find a more spectacular view from the spacious front porch. Sue and her husband have thought of everything here to make the stay comfortable and complete. Highly recommended!

Great Getaway During Coronavirus

This house and the area were perfect for a long weekend getaway. After months at home, we were looking for a change of scenery and to avoid crowds. We enjoyed the house, the farm, all the nearby parks, and the winery. Staying here offered a much needed change of pace for our family.

Excellent Stay

We had a great stay at Above All Else Windsong. Sue was fantastic! She put up a Christmas tree for us and made sure the house was spotless. She was very communicative before we arrived and even flew the Texas flag for us. We really appreciated Sue's hard work and attention to detail. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wedding weekend

This is a beautiful peaceful property. We loved sitting on the porch watching the horses and looking for bluebirds. The house is very well equipped and spotless. We also enjoyed walking the trails of the adjacent Audibom sanctuary. It was a perfect place for our family to stay to attend a nearby wedding.

Almost Heaven

Loved the setting of this property. Everything we needed to prepare and serve Thanksgiving dinner was available. They missed the mark on the beds which were all extremely uncomfortable and made it difficult to sleep for all guests. If beds were changed we would book here every year.

Great Holiday

This rental on a working horse farm in a private setting was an ideal location for our family to gather over the winter holidays. It was secluded enough to allow for privacy, quiet reflection, and the enjoyment of nature --- while convenient enough to access good roads and nearby towns for dining or shopping. The accommodations were generous for our family to stay, and even host larger gatherings at lunchtime - for others to celebrate the holiday together. Our hosts were gracious, accommodating, and helpful at every step.

Great place for a family get together

This was a great place for our adult children and us to get together for a family wedding. The house was spectacularly clean, the rooms were as they were described and the location was beautiful. There were horses in every field kicking up their heels and putting on a show for us charmed spectators. Jim and Sue were easy to work with and made us feel at home. This was a perfect place to relax and enjoy life.

Another wonderful stay at Above All Else!

Another wonderful stay at “The Farm” as we have come to call it! Our two grandsons had a blast helping Jim with the horses. And our daughter and her husband came over from Columbia to celebrate her birthday! And we drove to the Shady Grove Metro station and went into DC for a day! Great location, great people and waking up on the farm is a little piece of heaven!

Thanksgiving weekend

The house is just lovely, country setting and furnishings. Rooms were comfortable and furnished perfectly for the setting. The home was immaculate, and had all the necessities you would need - including individual shampoo and conditioner for those who (me) forgot to bring their own. The kitchen is stocked with whatever you would need to prepare and serve a meal. A true delight!

Feizet/Carmel family vacation

Our family of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our week at " the farm". Our 3 grandsons could not get enough of the barn and beautiful horses. We were able to relax and just be together. Amazing House, and great hosts

We visited the Mt Airy area for my wifes birthday. She loves horses, and it was a no brainer for me to book our stay with Sue and Jim at Windsong Arabians. Checkin was smooth, and Sue and Jim were great. The house was perfect. Clean and spacious. We had a great time on the property hanging out with the horses. At night the property was peacceful, and allowed for a very relaxing time. We look forward to booking another trip to Mt Airy, and our only choice to stay will be with Sue and Jim. A little slice of heaven

Beautiful property nestled in the rolling hills of Maryland. Very peaceful and serene. Far from the noise and traffic but close enough to shopping and restaurants. Bedrooms and baths set up well. Scenery is awesome. Feeding the horses carrots was fun. Just hanging out on the front porch is nice and relaxing. Host welcomed us then left us to ourselves. We didn’t need anything that wasn’t already provided. Just an overall wonderful stay.

Small slice of heaven

This tucked away abode was incredibly hospitable. Situated in the remote countryside, you never have to worry about traffic. Private gated entrance made sure we weren’t disturbing the owners when we went about our business. Our kids adored the horses and the ability to help out with farm chores. They’ve already begged me to take them back. Our dogs even enjoyed their time there which was a last minute addition to our trip. Early morning tea or coffee on the porch is a must as you watch the horses.

Private Home Within Driving Distance To Baltimore

We loved our stay with Above All Else! This home is on the same property as the owners, but very private. Plenty of room for my parents, my family and my brother! Everyone had their own room and plenty of bathrooms for all. The views are amazing! And my son loved getting up close and personal with the horses and chickens. Things I particularly liked: there is a washer and dryer you can use on the property, the kitchen is great for saving money eating in, Mouny Airy is only a five minute drive away (Walmart, SafeWay, take out), the gentleman who owns the property is very nice and accommodating, and the house is a great option for kids. We would love to come stay again soon!

Windsong Gateway - Fall Oasis in MD

The property is an oasis of peace, beautiful vegetation, hills, Farm stables, horse Boarding, Equestrian- very nice indoor riding arena, amazing Arabian Horses. The owners ( Sue & Jim Doll) horses lovers, make available their property with all complementary details including a nice Red wine bottle. Even during a rainy night we lost power and in question of 5 minutes they started their generator to keep going on the fridge, and safe our food, water pump, and happy our children until the power outage was solved. Very relaxing location with 15 to 25 minutes, 10 great restaurants, we'll love to come back.

Wonderful place, clean, relaxing, fun!

This house was spacious, very clean, with wonderful views. We are not horse people, but who doesn’t smile to have beautiful horses in your front porch view? The owners were very friendly, and we plan to at least check out the barns on our next visit! The back porch was a wonderful place to watch the wildlife and listen to the birds. We saw a Fox, a woodchuck, two deer, a giant rabbit, and numerous beautiful birds. The fence backs up to the Audubon Sanctuary and was a delight to wander in, taking long walks. This is the first place I have been to, that I plan to revisit. It was delightful and is close to a couple of charming small towns and of course within easy travel distance to Baltimore and Gettysburg. You really should stay here, just a really fun relaxing place to be. I wish I could give it 10 stars and give you photos!

This house was originally designed for Jim's parents... bedroom and bathroom downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs for family overnights. Our youngest daughter then lived in the house for 2 years, married and bought a home of their own. We have been renting this house for vacation stays since 2002. We have had guests from just about every state in the Union and from many countries. We enjoy meeting new folks and sharing the house and the farm.
