Seize the opportunity to stay in a place steeped in history and charm. A majestic building constructed in 1826, this former wing of the château, still inhabited today, is sure to win you over.
Ideal for seven people, you'll find every comfort for your stay with friends or family.
Bought in ruins a few years ago, the building has been almost entirely renovated.
On the first floor, you'll find a large living room with armchairs and sofa, a decorative period fireplace, and a buffet from the house's own century. There's also a dining room with a large table for guests. The fully-equipped kitchen follows (induction hob, hood, toaster, kettle, Senseo coffee maker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large-capacity fridge + freezer section). A washing machine is also available in the laundry room.
On the first floor, you'll also find a fully renovated shower room with toilet (walk-in shower).

The second floor features two double bedrooms and a toilet.

There's no WIFI in the house, so you're guaranteed a friendly, country atmosphere.

The locality is unfailingly tranquil. You'll still be surrounded by the chatelaine and a few other neighbors, but the surroundings are restful and very quiet.
Located 13 minutes by car from Chinon and Azay le Rideau, and 22 minutes from Langeais, the house is perfectly situated on the route to the chateaux of the Loire Valley.
You'll also find plenty of troglodyte dwellings and even villages to visit along the way! (La Vallée Troglodytique des Goupillières is just 20 minutes away).
Numerous wineries and tastings of all kinds await you on our Touraine roads (Chinon, Vouvray, Saint Nicolas de Bourgeuil, Montlouis, etc.).
For children, there's an acrobranche course at Saint Benoit Aventure (3 minutes' drive from the house).
