Julie I am sorry that you feel that you had a terrible experience. I am guessing, your review/comments are around the issue of insects/bugs that you raised during your stay. I have replied directly to you previously but feel it is appropriate to repeat my comments here as this will allow any readers to put your review in to context. I should also add that in the 24 days since you left, the house has been occupied 22 days and there have been no complaints or adverse comments at all. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Julie I write to you as the owner of the property you recently stayed in at Regal Palms. Vivian, my Property Manager, has kept me informed of the situation. First of all may I offer my apologies that you felt that your vacation was spoiled by the discovery of two bugs in the property. Sadly such bugs are a feature of the climate and, no matter how many times you carry out a pre-emptive treatment, it is almost impossible to keep them at bay. Indeed, Regal Palms, retain a Pest Control company who undertake regular routine treatments but are on hand for those times that bugs still appear. It was this company that came to the house the day after you first raised the issue. That said, it can be disconcerting when a bug appears. Your initial concerns focused strongly on what you believed were bed bugs. As you are aware we arranged for 3 independent inspectors to attend the property on the day that you moved out (they couldn’t come earlier as it was the weekend) and all 3 have confirmed that there was no evidence at all of bed bugs anywhere in the property which, I am sure, is a comfort to you. Vivian has provided you with the reports from all 3 Inspectors Vivian is an experienced Property Manager who has been managing this property and others in the area for many years. She agrees that there is always the chance that a bug will turn up but she would always respond as quickly as possible to deal with the matter. We have not had any complaints like yours before but may be other guests have adopted a more pragmatic attitude to the bugs. That said, I do not take these things lightly and the property was treated the day you moved out, by the Regal Palms company, and also again the following day, just to make sure.

Hello Robert, I am sorry you did not have the best time at our unit. We sent a person to fix the steps while you were there and everything is fixed. Also called you many times to ask if we could have Spectrum come over ( they were having trouble in the area ind this is out of our control) and get the TVs fixed and you asked not to be bothered. Tvs are working just fine now after you checked out and we were able to send the techs to see what's was going on. I am not sure what you mean about the door lock which works just fine. Thank you for your input anyways

Hello Nancy, Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the property and had a great time. Unfortunately due to the new ownership as we told you Spectrum took a week to transfer the account to the new owner since wifi and cable are provided by the Community. We apologize again for the inconvenience but Spectrum kept telling us it would only take a day and then the next day and so on. It was really upsetting for us as well as there was nothing we could do to make it happen faster and we know how inconvenient this was for you. Gladly everything is working just fine now! We will get in touch to send you a compensation. I am sorry again and we thank you for your stay!

Hello teresa, I am sorry you didn't have a good experience.Unfortunately you got upset cause you did not read the property description where it mentions the resort fee to be paid at check in and then everything seemed to be a problem for you. As mentioned to you in our conversations we follow all cleaning protocols and property was sanitized and cleaned as always. Our housekeeping supervisor was there before your check in and checked on everything and everything was properly cleaned. Even though we followed all steps and property was sanitized and clean we still refunded you for the cleaning fee. As far as the can opener we have already replaced it. The door was not broken and it just came off track when you opened it and we also fixed it. We have just changed all linens, pillows, towels and quilts to make sure we always have the best stay for our guests. Thank you

Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately Spectrum had problems with wifi and this is something that we can’t control. We did the best we could to have them restore service asap! Sorry you had problems with the neighbor. We had never had any complaints about the neighbor and we received many calls from the resort about him complaining of your noises as well. House is always with guests and before or after your stay we NEVER had this happen with neighbors.
