We had a great time during our stay here. Check in was easy, shuttle was good most of the time (waiting while during peak times) and condo was great. We had one minor issue with the shower and they were out first thing the next morning to fix it.

Lovely visit.

Generally, this was a great stay. Really easy check in. The unit is clean and spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Large dining area and big bedrooms. It is not as close to the beach as we thought and had to drive as we had young children with us. Also, lacking some basics such as paper towels and garbage bags. Small issues and we would stay here again!

Great location for pickleball and tennis. Short walk to beach. Very easy access on bikes to everything. Longer walk but also nice. Wired parking rules and access to the Palmetto Dunes prop after 10pm.

Family Vacation 2022

This was our first time staying in Palmetto Dunes as we have stayed in Sea Pines in the past. Palmetto Dunes is amazing! This property was great for our family. It was very spacious with a large kitchen and large bedrooms. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our little dog on vacation with us for the first time which was perfect. The location was ideal. Close to the pool, the General Store, golf, tennis and just a short walk to the beach. The condo could use a few updates, but in general it was a very nice place. Would stay here again!

Grandkids weekend beach trip loved it!!!

Comfortable, clean, and convenient. Plenty of room for the three grand kids and adults Kitchen was equipped with lots of plates glasses utensils pots and pans Beds were comfortable. And there were enough towels. Both beach and bath!!! The place was clean and no Evidence of bugs very high on my list Dog friendly but did not smell like a dog. Close to restaurants and shopping. Beach is a 12 minute hike ( longer with kids) or drive to one of the other public beaches. Unit is near one of the community pools Definitely keeping this one posted to my vacation board

A short, wonderful, and hot vacation

First visit to Hilton Head. Beautiful area. Palmetto Dunes is a great location, lots of acitivities. The temps were extreme, so our walk to the beach with a toddler (and needed items) was a bit long. Probably should have used the trolley. The house was nice, but showing some age, but served us well. Some issues when we arrived included a refrigerator that did not work (found it to be the outlet...moved fridge plug to the second oulet) and the upstairs toilet was clogged...minor items and resolved fairly quickly.. Hilton Head rental was responsive and helpful. We needed to bring a third vehicle and they were accomadating and helpful in finding us a solution for the 3rd vehicle. Felt some of the fees and rental expenses were a bit extreme for the unit, but I guess it is the norm for the area. Overall, a good and enjoyable time.

Great place to stay with your family, including your pups

We have been coming to Hilton Head for years, but this was the first time with our dogs in tow. The property is well located; it is very close to the pool as well as the local store and gear rental place. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach, and a 10 minute bike ride to Shelter Cove shops and restaurants. Walking the dogs on the beach in the mornings and evenings was great. If you golf, play pickle ball, or tennis, this property is right in the middle of venues for all those activities.

Just Beachy!

This Condo worked out great for our family. The location inside Palmetto Dunes was spot on for us. Close to one of Queen's Grant many pools, short walk to the General Store as well as a couple of the restaurants inside of Palmetto Dunes, and then walking to the beach was just a bit farther. The Condo had a nice layout and was nicely equipped with all that we needed. Would definitely book again!

Celebration weekend

We were celebrating our milestone anniversary and found this beautiful house in HH- Palmetto Dunes. The house was clean, stocked with clean towels, beach towels and everything around was easily accessible. P.S: few of the outlets in the living room do not charge and needs fixing. We had no issues though. The manager Darcey was very kind and quick to respond. We loved our stay & will come back. Thanks again for helping us create beautiful memories.

Great location - house a bit run down

This property is in a great location - close to the Palmetto Dunes tennis center and 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. It is also pet friendly which can be hard to find. However, the unit itself needs a refresh. The mattresses are old and uncomfortable. The furniture has seen better days. The front screen door sticks and can be impossible to open (we just used the block to leave it 1" open). The range does not maintain a steady temperature. The outside lights are way too dim. Basically you are getting Motel 6 level furnishings but paying a Ritz Carlton price for the location. All this being said the unit was roomy (we had 5 adults and 2 pets) and, again, a great location. Having rented multiple properties in Hilton Head over the years I was expecting something a bit more upscale but we still had a great time.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

We had 6 adults for 12 days and this unit was an ideal option for our vacation. The pool area is literally steps away from the back patio - there are restrooms and a picnic section, which was even more than what we expected. For any golfers in the group, the driving range is also super close to the unit and it’s a Top Golf style range with full food and drink service - this was a big surprise to us and such a great option for nights when we wanted to lay low but have a group activity. The kitchen truly had everything you’d need to grill out, which we did quite often. The only flag I’d raise are the beds - the master seemed great but the others were a little cramped for a group of adults. Other than that, no complaints! Thank you for such a great stay!

Family Beach Vacation 2021

We had a great time at our Hilton Head vacation this year! We have vacationed at Palmetto Dunes several times before, but this was our first time renting this location. The condo was located close to the general store and the pickleball courts. (If you have never played pickleball you should try it. It a cross between tennis and ping pong and our entire family enjoyed it.). There was a pool close to the condo but not so close that you heard people at it from the condo. It was an easy walk to the beach and there are bike paths through the area if you like to bike. The condo had everything you would need if you were going to cook or grill out - we didn’t this time but everything was there that we needed if we wanted to. There were beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys and beach towels at the condo too which was very nice. There were beds in two bedrooms downstairs and more beds upstairs. The condo also allowed pets which our dog was very happy about! My brother’s family stayed in another condo in Queens Grant part of the week we were there and we all had a great time! I am ready to go back already and I would definitely rent this location again if it is available when we visit next time!

Large condo

The condo was very spacious. Had more beds then advertised. 4 beds downstairs and 3 beds upstairs. Could sleep 12. There are plenty of beach towels, sand toys and some beach chairs. Bike rentals can be delivered, which is a good plan.

Spacious, close to pool

Starting with the positive, the unit was very spacious and even had more beds than advertised, which is great for a family with 4 kids in late teens/early 20s. It was very close to the pool, which while nothing fancy, was clean and nice. The issues we had were these: 1) the A/C. There are 2 control panels, one for each floor, however, no matter which one we used, the unit was HOT by midday. We set it for 72 and it was over 80 by 4:00 and only got back down to 72 until about midnight. And even then it never felt cool and dry like you would expect from a functioning A/C unit (and we live in Florida so we know of what we speak). 2) The stocking of the unit. While the kitchen was large, it was oddly stocked: only 3 wine glasses, no frying pan, just kinda short or missing a lot of basics (but it did have TONS of knives). 3) Housekeeping. The unit was clean but much like the kitchen, they stocked it oddly. There were plenty of towels but only 1 thing of dishwasher detergent, one roll of paper towels and one roll of TP per bathroom. I don’t expect a ton, but maybe 2? Also trash bags that don’t fit the trash can (kind of a pet peeve). 4) The electrical system. Apparently there must be a bad wire or fuse because the Living room wall that the TV and 2 lamps were on, kept shorting out. We had to flip the breaker repeatedly to get it back on and it went out a number of times. I will say the owners were responsive although they weren’t really able to help with the a/c or the electrical issues. We had a nice time, but unless they get the A/C unit fixed, I can’t really recommend the property (although I will say we had friends staying in a 1 story property in the same complex that also had a/c issues so it may be an issue throughout). Proximity to amenities was good.

Very nice vacation

We enjoyed our visit and stay at this property in Hilton Head. The owners were very responsive from the time we set up our reservation until after we left the property. There was plenty of space for our family of 7 - even with 4 teens. The walk to the pool was short, and the back patio is set in close to the building and very private. All the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Check in/check out was very easy. Thank you to Kim and Scott for sharing your beautiful property. It filled our need for a quick vacation perfectly!
