Ladies Weekend

We wanted a place to stay near lakes and hiking. Although it stated we were within walking distance to lake it was definitely a drive especially with paddle boards. It was a decent location however a little too close to busy road. There were a few items missing in cabin that were supposed to be amenities. The outdoor gazebo and hot tub were the best most charming part.

Charming Real Log Cabin

Our family had a staycation ( we're from Casa Grande Az) our son was introducing his fiance to us and we wanted to show her there was more to Arizona than desert and we picked the perfect place to do just that. What a great Cabin, had a vintage feel but with all the modern convience's and enough property to have privacy, easy to locate and close enough to have pizza delivered but your away from the hustle of town, The fireplace was easy to use and so cozy , we played ping pong and enjoyed the hot tub each night under the stars, this Cabin had everything you need just bring your family or friends and some food or order out as there are many restaurants near by, we also had the pleasure of seeing several deer sitting under the trees right off the dining room while we ate breakfast. We also found the price to be very affordable especially for a holiday weekend. A huge plus the owners were very quick to answer any questions we had.Book the Cabin you won't regret it.

Wonderful Time

We were delighted to stay at this location. It was very clean, plenty of space for our needs, and the hosts were great. We had a very relaxing time. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed watching football from the hot tub. The kids (11 and 12) had so much fun organizing ping pong tourny with all of us. Would love to come back.

A wonderful stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this rustic log cabin! It was quite secluded, wooded, clean, comfortable, and cozy. We loved hot tubbing every evening as well. Stephanie was a great hostess and we had everything we needed. We would stay here again with no hesitations.

Great place to stay

We loved our experience at the cabin. Only downfall was we booked specifically for the jacuzzi that was advertised only for it to not be available while we were staying. It was unfortunate but other than that we loved the cabin and everything about it. We will be return customers for sure

I know we are here until August 3 checking out tomorrow 4 nights. I tried to extend thru Saturday and could not. Thank you. This place is exactly what my husband and I needed. He was in the hospital for 9 weeks 3 back surgeries and this is the perfect easy way to relax. We will leave early tomorrow morning

Not quite what we thought

Description and pictures do not show true depiction of the cabin. It says rustic- yes it is and then some! It's cute, but definitely needs some updating. Linoleum on kitchen floor is coming up, kitchen sink is very old and scratched. Tub in guest bath is old and scratched up. Cords are everywhere. Very dark inside. Lamps are not very bright. As for being clean, lots of cobwebs everywhere inside. Outside had ants by the grill and smelled like manure. Hot tub was at 107 when we went to use it, which max is supposed to be at 104. That is a liability issue! Outside was not super clean also and you can see a pack rat nest in the little kid's playhouse. Beds were comfortable and master shower is nice. Towels were very thin. It said AC in description. Well, it was hot when we were there and there is a window AC/tower for the living room and that is really it. There is a little window fan for the loft and there is a ceiling fan for the 2 bedrooms. Location was great, as it is super close to everything. It would be nice to see it have a little more effort put into keeping this place nice and having some better quality things available.

Great location and very comfortable beds only complaints are the ping pong stuff and corn hole stuff is nowhere to be found and some of the blankets need to be replaced due to wear and tear and that they charge a lot for cleaning fees up front when you book But you are told you have to do everything when you leave but make beds so I think that’s a lot of money to just make beds

This is the 6th time renting the cabin. It is perfect for a family vacation. Close to stores and restaurants yet it is in the woods. Very relaxing! Can’t wait to go again next year.

Great cabin!

We really loved staying here! Beautiful, good location/neighborhood, back patio is great, etc. Overall give it 5 stars. One minor thing to note is the listing says the cabin has AC - it does have an AC unit but it’s not central air. It’s only located in the living room. However, with windows open and fans running we were totally comfortable, so not a deal breaker by any means. Just worth knowing if there’s a heat wave or something. Still highly recommend!

Absolutely peaceful

Loved staying in this cute cabin, though there are neighbors close by, it is surrounded by enough trees to make it seem like you are alone. It has everything you need for your stay and then some. Will definitely be staying here again!

Great Location

The property was wonderfully located. The cabin was very nice. The property offered several amenities which were not available. There was supposed to be a baby bed for infants which was not available. We communicated with the owners who apologized and had us go purchase one at Walmart and they would repay us. We were happy to oblige as we didn't need one at home (already own one) and trusted them seeing the beautiful cabin. We left the baby bed and then attempted to get ahold of them to be reimbursed but they would no longer communicate. They basically got a $100 baby bed for free. The other issue we had was the outdoor area. The property offered the use of a hot tub. The notebook was very specific with instructions on how to use it. However when we went to follow the instructions we could find none of the chemicals they requested we use to follow the instructions they requested. It became unusable. The games and toys in the backyard were either in such disrepair or old that they were of no use either. We were very disappointed with this part of our stay. The cabin itself was well appointed with everything a guest needed and we enjoyed the use of it.

A cabin that need a lot of TLC

It wasn’t what we read from the Hosts advertisement in VRBO. This is an old cabin which needs some repair. The kitchen faucet leaks. The old lenoluem flooring is sticking up and someone could trip. The host did not give us a full tank of propane. There were 5 and all were empty. She said we could take the tank down and fill it. She could have provided 2 tanks. The girl did not work properly. Roku remotes did not have working batteries. The top oven needs fixing, when you pull the door open it give away.. it needs a screw to hold it together. The kids could not play games, missing pieces. The corn hole boards need to be replaced, they are warped from the snow and rain. Where the toilet paper roller is there’s a lot of holes in the wall. Which could be covered with some spackle and repainted. The paint is peeling from the bathroom wall. This host is false advertising this place. What she says and shows are 2 different things. I would not rent this place again. This host advertised this place and comfy and cozy. What she shows and advertises are 2 different things. I also have photos.

Log cabin getaway

The log cabin was an excellent stay. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms spacious. Lots of seating areas and games. It was very easy to contact the owner and she even warned us about a bear on the property. The hot tub was a nice treat. We were excited to play corn hole but it was not in great condition. Overall, I would stay again!Great mountain getaway.

Deer cabin

I loved a real wood cabin! The cabin had herds of deer that just wandered through and rested and snacked! It was amazing. The cabin was full of beautiful antiques and charm! The host was very kind! With that being said kindly, I am a clean freak and have allergies especially to dust and other environmental triggers. The house was layered in deep dust. Every light, beam, fan and wall was layered in dust. The pots and pans were rusty and some covered in grease… the cleaning crew, 140.00 a pop do not do their job well. We had dirty floor mats. There was no nose tissue or hand soap. We were given three garbage bags and three dish cubes. Obviously we went to the store and purchased the daily cleaning supplies needed for a house where you plan to live and cook. Bring your own drinking vessels and laundry essentials. Overall, content with stay but, compared to other VRBO’s, basic amenities need an improvement as well as cleaning!

When my husband found out that this place was for sale, we called the previous owner, stayed the night, and fell in love. What a dream come true to own such a wonderful cabin. We now enjoy sharing it with people that will cherish it as much as we do!
