Surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains, you'll be just a short 25-minute drive from the serene Fontana Lake and a 27-minute drive from the Fontana Village Resort Marina, where you can enjoy a variety of water activities.

Nice place in Robbinsville

We rented the house for a motorcycle trip. It was very accommodating. Be advised the driveway is paved but is quite steep which was a bit intimidating to a junior rider with us. All and all a pleasant place with very comfortable beds!!

Our stay was good. The property offered us privacy and easy access. We had issues with the internet and satellite TV but sometimes things just happen. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Deborah was helpful.

Charming cabin nestled in the woods.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin was clean, fully stocked will anything we needed and we really enjoyed our time there. Host was very responsive with any questions we had and we would 100% stay there again. The road up to the cabin is steep but paved so had not troubles with access.Please note though that you’re required to take your trash with you when you leave and the drop off point is several miles away.

Beautiful little cabin

This cabin is a little gem. Perfectly decorated, clean, cozy, quiet and secluded in an incredibly beautiful setting. You literally have to cross a trout stream to enter the property. It has Fast WiFi and Direct TV. Enjoyed it very much. Couple things to know going in though. One: It is a bit of a drive to everything. Bring everything you need because it’s 20 miles into Robbinsville, one way. Two: The driveway is steep. It’s manageable but challenging. Three: Master bed is a full size bed. It was comfortable, but My wife and I hadn’t slept in a full size since we were much, much smaller. Very cozy. anyway, we would hands down rent it again if we’re going back to the smoky mountains.

Great Stay for MATG Weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's secluded enough to be peaceful but not so far away to be inconvenient. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well stocked with a great view from the front porch. Debbie was a great host and we would definitely stay again! Looking forward to being back next year!

False advertising

Access is paved… until you’re half way up to your cabin. Then it’s loose gravel. If you’ve got a low car (think sports car), you WILL scrape going up. There’s no way to avoid it. If you’ve not got 4WD or AWD, good luck pulling into the parking space next to the cabin. We were slipping even with AWD. There is a loose nail or something sharp coming up from the carpet right in front of the master bathroom. I stepped on it and it ripped a hole in my sock. When I went to try to pick up whatever it was, it cut my thumb open. My thumb is now swollen and red and may need medical attention, as I don’t know if I cut it on something rusty or dirty. The instructions on dealing with your garbage are ridiculous. You want me to load up all my trash, in my already full car, & drive it two miles to a dumpster? I couldn’t believe it. Especially when the dumpster has hours, hours that don’t align with checkout times on weekends. How am I going to throw my garbage in the dump after a 10am checkout if the dump doesn’t open until 11am? I guess on Sundays you’ve gotta take your trash home. I have NEVER seen a vacation property request for you to drive your trash down the road for miles. The cabin was clean, and AC was cold. But for the above reasons, we will not be returning.

Mountain Vacation

This was the perfect location for our stay! The views were amazing! We loved the little stream that ran down alongside the cabin property and how peaceful the area was. Close to many fun activities and Debbie was very helpful with anything we needed. She thought of everything as far as amenities for the cabin. We hope to return sometime in the fall!

Great place, Very clean and well equipped with all the items you need to make dinner etc. Awesome porch. Peaceful with great views. It is in the woods, so bring some bug spray...not really bad at all or a negative, just something to be aware of if you are not an outdoorsman. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing cabin!

This cabin is a great place to stay. It is very clean and the check in/check out process is extremely simple. We came to ride motorcycles and enjoyed the experience. The Tail of the Dragon and Skyway are within 30 minutes with a fun ride getting to them. We would stay there again.

Peaceful Retreat

Beautiful setting atop the mountain side with gorgeous view. Easy to find & amazingly clean with a feeling of being at home. Initially concerned about reviews saying you need 4wheel drive but our bmw handled it. Deborah was very kind & helpful with nearby attractions we may not have visited. We thoroughly enjoyed eating on the wrap around porch & listening to the mountain’s babbling brook next to the cabin. Definitely will be returning soon!

Off the beaten path.

We enjoyed our stay. We were far enough away from the busy tourist areas but close enough that we could drive into the areas by way of beautiful scenic routes. The cabin was wonderful and had everything we needed. Our only complaint was the hot water was indecisive; one day it lasted for all of our showers and the next it only lasted for two people when we hadn't used it at all that day...kine of weird. Aside from that our stay was just what we were looking for. We would, and probably will, stay here again. Thanks for the quick assistance when we locked our keys inside the cabin Debbie. Our daughter said the snow yesterday morning was the frosting on her birthday weekend.

Amazing trip to the mountains!!

We had a long weekend mountain retreat at this property. The trees were changing colors and the cabin was perfect. The owner Mrs. Debbie had everything ready when we arrived and we really enjoyed visiting with her. The cabin was super clean and well stocked with basic household supplies. The kitchen contains all the dishes, pots/pans, etc you will need. There's a hiking trail next to the cabin that provides a good cardio workout. One of my favorite activities was sitting on the porch reading and enjoying the mountain view. Mrs. Debbie provided maps and brochures on numerous activities and places to visit in the area. We especially enjoyed Maple Springs Lookout. My husband and I highly recommend this property if you're looking for somewhere to relax with great views! I would rate this property more than 5 stars if possible.

Roy decided to just up and go to an auction out of town (unseen) and out of state (NC). He called a couple of days later to say he bought a cabin. We started to rent it and then lived in it after retiring, And, the rest is history, 25 years later, renting it again after making several changes and updates to it.

Having all our cabins within a healthy walk or ride in our 4 x 4 makes it handy for maintaining and greeting guests at the Ridge Haven at Yellow Creek, #240956, The Mountain Retreat at Yellow Creek, #345053, and now the Le Chalet at Yellow Creek#2090059.
