Zwei Master-Schlafzimmer-Suiten mit jeweils einem Bad auf separaten Etagen inklusive Bettwäsche und Handtücher.

Ein tolles Zimmer mit (Holz-) Kamin und 32 "-Flachbildfernseher.

Eine voll ausgestattete Küche (Mikrowelle & Geschirrspüler) mit Koch-, Back- und Grillutensilien benötigt.

Zum Grillen im Freien steht Ihnen ein Gasgrill sowie ein Terrassentisch für sechs Personen zur Verfügung.

Eine Waschküche mit neuer Waschmaschine und Trockner, Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen.

Internetanschluss, Handy-Service (nur Verizon), Strom- und Gasheizung, Klimaanlage und Deckenventilatoren vervollständigen diese schöne Berghütte für Ihren perfekten Urlaub.

Das Hotel liegt auf einer privaten Betonstraße, einem Wanderweg auf dem Grundstück, Forellenangeln in Yellow Creek (ca. 200 m von der Hütte entfernt) und einer Feuerstelle. In dieser Ferienhütte finden Sie Ruhe und Frieden.
(Hinweis) Obwohl unsere Straße betoniert ist, ist sie etwas steil (ca. 14 Grad). Daher ist es möglicherweise nicht für Anfänger geeignet.

Eine zusätzliche Hütte ist ebenfalls auf derselben Berg- und Privatstraße verfügbar. Bitte besuchen Sie das Mountain Retreat am Yellow Creek unter der Nummer 345053, um sich über Familien- und Freundesgruppen zu informieren. Reduzierte Preise für die Reservierung beider Kabinen.

Nice cabin

Semi-remote cabin with pretty much everything you need. Only wish we had easy local access to firewood for the fireplace and firepit. Convenient to great hiking areas and fantastic roads for sports car drivers. Would stay there again.

Relaxing stay in the enchanted forest

What a beautiful cabin. Deborah really had it decorated and set up for a perfect get away in the mountains. Everything we needed and more. The wood burning fire place was a dream. Coming up from Florida the fire kept us cozy. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us. Great place to unplug and unwind.

Very nice cabin in a secluded area.

The cabin was very clean and included everything you could need. The furniture was all in good shape and comfortable. The owners, Roy and Debbie stopped by and introduced themselves and offered any help we needed including getting our motorcycle off the trailer. Everything is well setup, so we were in need of nothing during our stay. The location is remote, which makes it quiet and peaceful, but also means you have a bit of a drive to get anywhere. As is mentioned, the driveway is steep and somewhat intimidating the first trip up and down, but I quickly adapted and had no issues with the truck and trailer or the motorcycle, If we go to this area again, my wife and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful cabin tucked in the mountains

My boyfriend and I came up for a long weekend to ride the tale of the Dragon/deals gap and all the other beautiful areas. The leaves were changing as it was the end of October. Our stay at this home was amazing. Beautiful cabin. Nicely furnished, everything you could need to cook all types of kitchen utensils and accessories. Beautiful outdoor deck overlooking the mountainside. Fireplace Within the cabin as well as on the property. There is also a beautiful walking trail up the side of the mountain behind the property here. If you want something fairly secluded this is the place to go, town is about 25 minutes if you're wanting to dine or shop. Cannot say enough about the hospitality from the owners, very nice and accommodating people. Would definitely come here again.

Great place to stay. My only issue was taking the trash to the street when checking out. We did put the trash outside in the trash can. But being on motorcycles we weren’t able to take the trash down the steep hill to the road.

Beautiful cabin in the mountains. Would liked to have known about the additional 100 pet fee before booking (listing said pet friendly, but no mention of additional fee). Not a problem, but maybe full disclosure it should have been mentioned in the listing. Beds were comfy. Had all appliances/kitchen ware we needed. The WiFi enabled me to be able to even get some work done in the mornings.

Family trip for the 4th

The pictures don't do it justice. We came up for a short trip for the 4th of July weekend and we all really enjoyed the home. It's one of the cleanest we have rented it. Love Mountain Time

We spent a wonderful, very busy week here enjoying everything the region has to offer. We rode horses, got to some Zip Lines, hit the white water on the Ocoee, spent a day on a pontoon on Fontana, and spent quiet time in the park.The cabin is fantastic! Beautiful mountain vacation

Our trip to NC was to experience The Tail of the Dragon on our motorcycles. Oh did we get that in spades. 318 curves in 11 miles, everywhere, not just on the 129. The cabin is perfectly situated to enjoy some great driving loops. Loaded with lots of maps and brochures to help you get oriented to enjoy your stay. There was nothing that we wanted for. We had some unfortunate wheel bearing issues on our truck so had to spend one day repairing it. Our hostess along with a great neighbour were over the top helpful. Lending us tools we didn’t have and even a blanket to put on the ground. Southern hospitality at its finest. A million thanks Deb and all the blessings in the future.

Great stay

This place is relaxing and beautiful, the owner Debbie was great, she recently upgraded the WiFi which I saw a lot of people mention on previous comments but we had no issues and it was super fast. My friends and I went there to ride our motorcycles on the tail of the dragon and other surrounding beautiful roads. I definitely recommend staying at this location for whatever your vacation plans are .

I have fond memories growing up in Maine where we had a camp on a lake. We had a lot of family holidays at that camp. And, then my family moved to Florida. My girlfriend's family had a cabin in Highlands, NC, so when my husband (Roy) and I needed a vacation, that's where we rented, and after that we were both hooked on North Carolina. After going a few more times, we started looking for our own cabin. My husband was in the construction business and can fix just about anything. I went to Florida State University and majored in Housing & Interior Design, so we make a good team when it comes to providing a well-maintained and decorated cabin.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We bought our second cabin that was originally called 'The Chalet' from an auction ad that my husband saw in our local newspaper. After purchasing it, we have vacationed there for over 18 years to get out of the Florida heat. Now we are retired and live here during the season. We loved the beautiful weather and mountain views so much that when the Mountain Retreat became available we decided to purchase it for additional family gatherings. And, then a few years later, the Ridge Haven became available. Everybody we knew or worked with wanted to rent the cabins, so that's how we got started. We love this County with it's country roads and laid back feeling. It is so peaceful and quiet here. Maybe an owl at night, sighting of hummingbirds and several type of birds that sing during the day. It's a great place to live or visit.

Our private road and the hiking trail is a great place to walk our dogs, oh and the cats, too. The weather is just like being in air-conditioning in the summer and it's so brisk in the Spring and Fall. The foliage is beautiful any time of the year, even after the leaves have fallen. And, the locals are so friendly, always waving as they pass by. There are so many nearby outdoor activities, weekly social benefits, arts and craft events, mountain music & heritage festivals and three pristine lakes (Fontana, Santeetlah & Cheoah) for all types of water adventures and fishing. The cabin is a great place to come back to after a fun day riding the roads or hiking the trails; or just hang out here all day and do nothing.
