ScottsdaleStays presents the Verde Estate, a newly renovated 8-bedroom, 3-bath luxury home on a private lot in one of Scottsdale’s most coveted neighborhoods. Perfect for staycations, golf getaways, family reunions, or bachelorette parties, this entertainer’s dream offers a resort-style experience for a fraction of the cost of most hotels.

The Space

Step into a spacious modern great room with a 65” TV, dinner seating for 12, and billiards. Every bedroom features memory foam mattresses and TVs, ensuring comfort for all guests. The home includes a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and all essentials for a hassle-free stay.

Glad you had an EXCELLENT stay. Isn't it nice staying in a million dollar estate with private amenities found in multi million estates like my own for the same nightly rate as being squished into a 200' hotel room with 1 TV, no kitchen that is 2 miles to your car at The Westin or The Princess in this very coveted area of Scottsdale. 50th Birthday getaway

Great location for food and golf. Downtown Scottsdale is really close. Nice outdoor space and pool. I think their cleaning crew may have missed this one before our visit, but we already got a great deal for our 9 day stay and the customer service rep that helped us was outstanding.

So glad you liked the food and golf. The house was definitely cleaned before your stay. As you only paid for a basic clean but were offered the deep cleaning for "clean freaks" for only $95 but never responded back to us and even tough you got a million dollar estate for less than $300/night we are one of the only owners that have service staff like a resort hotel (that would have been $3,000/night) But you never called once during your 8 day stay? Happens a lot with cheap stays for some reason. Remember that for next time.....even if it's another incredibly cheap stay with full time service staff.

Thanks for the lovely review. Homes are always being remodeled and renovated and better than 95% of homes across the country but can always use improvements. But ironically your very large group rented a 1.2 million dollar home for less nightly than a 200’ hotel room at The Westin down the street for your dates and failed to see the value?

The whole property has been completely renovated and valued over 1.2 million dollars…..there isn’t a single thing we can change and by owning 30 million dollars of homes in the area, we are well aware of our options. It’s simple bewildering what goes through the minds of our guests staying in our cheapest homes. Most of our successful guests are estatic getting a three thousand foot private home with amazing amenities for a lower nightly rate than a 200’ hotel room in the area. Some guests are never happy with any aspect of anything.

10/10 trip. The house had everything you would need and the backyard was incredible. Very good response time from the owners and someone even came to improve the volleyball net and gave us a new ball without us even asking! Would 100% come and stay here again!

Perfect getaway for the family.

The place is furnished with everything we needed. The kids enjoyed moving between the outdoor games, the pool and the TV that is also outside. The fully fenced yard allowed us to bring our dog avoiding the stress of knowing how well he is doing with a sitter or at a kennel.

Before you respond to this review in the obscene way that I have seen you respond to other people’s reviews, I’ll first point out that this group travels often (& stays in a lot of high-quality vacation rentals), so we have a pretty solid benchmark. When 3 days prior to arrival we learned our property was “accidentally double booked”, we were told this home was an “upgrade” and “three times better” than the one we originally booked—which honestly make us wonder what three times worse looks like.At first glance it seems fine—TVs in every room, comfy couches, & a fun backyard. But once you actually settle in, the basics are strangely missing.No extra TP, no paper towels, barely any hand soap, no pool towels. Half the outlets didn’t work, including the kitchen island which contained the microwave & wine cellar. The kitchen setup & cookware were minimal & frustrating. Very few pots & pans—just lots of lids. The internet was glitchy. And parts of the house felt more quick-fix than quality build—just shoddy overall. Then there were last-minute fees that felt tacked on and not very transparent. 100 to rent sports equipment?What’s most disappointing, though, was the pattern in the host’s responses to other guest reviews—defensive & rude rather than solution-oriented or understanding in any way. Not confidence-inspiring for us renters.Overall, it’s a lot of surface-level flash and not much function. Cover the basics first, then go ahead & try to shame us/call it an upgrade.

Regarding the rebooking, as soon as we were notified of the rare platform error that caused the double booking, we immediately secured and offered your group a larger, higher-valued home at no additional cost. Canceling your stay was never something we were willing to do. While we understand that a change close to arrival can feel stressful, the replacement property typically rents at a higher nightly rate than the original reservation. As outlined in our listing, we provide a complimentary starter supply of essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, trash bags, etc.) to get groups settled. This is standard practice across professionally managed short-term rentals. For larger groups — such as 12 guests — additional supplies beyond the starter set are typically guest-provided. It’s also worth noting that your group of 12 was able to stay in a large private home with a pool and backyard amenities for roughly the cost of (or less than) a standard hotel room per person in this area. When split that way, it represents significant value compared to booking multiple hotel rooms locally. The sports equipment fee is an optional add-on, clearly disclosed in advance. It covers cleaning, setup, and replacement — it is not a hidden or mandatory charge. If outlets or internet connectivity were not functioning properly, we genuinely wish we had been notified during your stay. We have a full-time local team and respond quickly to maintenance concerns. Unfortunately, when issues are not communicated in real time — and instead are raised weeks after checkout — we are not given the opportunity to address or correct them. We focus on providing large, well-equipped homes at competitive rates. Most guests appreciate the space, amenities, and value provided. While we understand not every property is the right fit for every group, we stand behind the home and the experience offered. We wish you the best in your future travels.

Something for everyone

We are an active family and the backyard and something for all of us. We spent many hours in the pool, playing volleyball and shooting pool.
