Access to the Lake Toxaway Country Club is also possible for a small fee where one can enjoy the pool, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, golfing and fine dining. Please ask for details as this is an option for an extra fee.

The Lake House has been completely renovated down to the studs. Come enjoy the new bathrooms, new kitchen, new Smart TV's, new deck, new HVAC system, new windows and more.

Two floors boast five bedrooms and four full baths (two ensuite masters each on separate levels) making it comfortable for two families to enjoy.. Fire pit and three kayaks are available for use and you can rent a motorboat at The Lake Toxaway Marina. Grab a cocktail and a meal at the luxurious and historical Greystone Inn located across the lake or stay in and grill some food on the BBQ while enjoying a sunset from the deck overlooking the lake and mountains.

Lake Toxaway is the largest private lake in North Carolina and is surrounded by Hawk Mountian, Panthertail Mountain, Cold Mountain and Mt. Toxaway along with several wilderness areas totaling over 10,000 adjoining acres, It lies at an elevation of 3010'. Once the playground of Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone, and Henry Ford as well as the Vanderbilts, Rockefellers and Carnegies, Lake Toxaway, three miles long and one mile wide and with a shoreline of 14 miles was the very first lake created in the Appalachians. Only property owners and their guests have access to Lake Toxaway.

We will make every effort to have our caretaker check you in and acquaint you with the property and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions.

The property has an incline and may not be suitable for all but it is more than manageable, however, please understand that this is not a flat, level lot.

We limit pets to one dog. A fee will be assessed and we expect that you will clean after your dog on premises and about.

We may charge a fee for: late check out if not approved, after-hour maintenance if not an emergency, lost keys, noise violations, parking violations, excessive damage to property, extra people on property without prior approval.


You MAY be required to provide a copy of a photo ID that matches the method of payment for the booking - as well as a copy of the credit card used for booking.

We do not allow or tolerate: fraud, events/parties, smoking of ANY kind, intentional property damage or excessive accidental damage, illegal activity, domestic violence, underage occupancy, filming for any public distribution without a mutually executed contract in place, stealing of property info and photos for false advertisement. Violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
