WHISTLEPUNK 40 - 1 BEDROOM PLUS, 2 BATH - BEDDING: Master Bedroom Queen, PLUS LOFT Pyramid Bunk and a Sleeper Sofa in the Living Room (sleeps 7). The charming mountain-top village has a variety of activities to match. Bavaria`s Finest is a one bedroom, two bath with loft. Located across the street from the Western Territory and within walking distance to Shavers Centre and the village. Fully equipped kitchen, with a washer and dryer, Living room with wood fireplace (wood provided), TV/DVD, Located just off Whistlepunk Trail, a Novice run leading to the entire trail system, and across the street from the Double Black Diamond trails of Western Territory.

SKI IN / SKI OUT PET FRIENDLY NO AIR CONDITIONING

AMENITIES: Free WiFi, Free Long Distance Calling, Gated Community, Bike Friendly Lodging, Free Resort Shuttle Service. Within walking distance to The Village at Snowshoe's shops & restaurants. Short distance to the Split Rocks heated pool (additional fee).

~ Reservation holders must complete check-in requirements.
~ The reservation holder must submit a photo of their driver's license, and a selfie holding their driver's license for verification.
~ A signed Rental Agreement must be returned within 24 hours of booking.
~ Pet Friendly - Pets are limited to two, medium sized, house broken DOGS ONLY. All other animals are not allowed. Pet damages are not covered by the Damage Waiver Fee. Damages caused by your pet will be charged to your credit card on file.

Nice family Snowshoe trip

We enjoyed staying at this location, we really appreciated the proximity to the slopes as well as to the village and the walking path. It was great to have two bathrooms for my teenagers! The loft beds were not comfortable, but my kids still seemed to sleep OK. We really appreciated all of the heaters in the place as well.! we would definitely like to stay here again in the future

Winter wonderful in Whistlepunk

This unit was the perfect size for our family of four and one guest. The location is great an easy walk out the back to the slopes. The kitchen has everything you need to feed your family or it’s an easy walk to the Pizza Slice, Tuques, Appalachian kitchen or hop on the shuttle to the village. One of my favorite about the unit is the master on the main (I didn’t have to navigate the spiral staircase multiple times a day). Will definitely stay here again!

Snowshoe trip

Maintenance arrived at our rental 30mins after checking in at 4pm with no notice to make repairs to apparently a broken bunk bed in the loft. I guess its a good thing nobody tried to use it before as the repair tech stated someone would have gotten hurt. The facility had no coffee filters provided. The property inside needs many repairs

Not ski in-ski out

This property is near the ski slopes. The listing says it’s ski in-ski out. If there is a lot of natural snow between the unit and groomed slopes that might be possible. But for us it was either a short walk to catch the shuttle or a block or more to the slopes. The unit itself was clean and as advertised. The furnishings and decor is dated and basic, but a fine place to sleep and prepare meals while skiing. It’s a one bedroom but the lift area serves as a second bedroom. No cell service but wi-fi was reliable and a landline phone was provided. The firewood they provided was so green it wouldn’t catch fire even with a duraflame log burning under it for an hour.

Whistlepunk

Whistlepunk is about a 4 minute walk from the closest lift. Everything you need is within walking distance so you can’t go wrong. I’d prefer to stay up closer to the top of the world with immediate access to those slopes so I might choose something in powder monkey or something with ski in and ski out access directly on the upper flume. We did have a family of 4 deer right outside our balcony which was awesome! Our kids loved having their own bunk in the loft, and we loved lighting a fire after a long day in 0-24 degree weather. Someone was stealing our firewood from outside our door though. We only used 2 logs our whole trip and someone stole half our fully stocked pile. It looked the same with the cabin across from ours which was full when we arrived and also half full on day 2. So be on the lookout for wood bandits and would def. Not keep your gear (boots/skid/poles/boards) in the mud room of your cabin which does NOT lock

Great location

It was close to the slopes and we knew it was a bit dated from previous reviews. I was satisfied with the price but suggest that the owner replace the locks and possibly the door jam. It was a bit flimsy. Other than that location and price rules plus you can bring your dog!

Ski getaway

Location near the slopes was great. There was a small walk from the car around the first building and up some stairs to where the unit was for unloading. Not too bad though. Overall it was pretty outdated compared to all the other places we have stayed before but very functional (had everything we needed). Always enjoy renting through Casago, they make it so easy. Would come stay here again.

Great Location, nice stay

The location of this property is great. We had an easy time getting to the lifts and such. The entry/mudroom was great for leaving wet gear to dry. The property is a bit dated, but in good condition. My only issues would be the pet hair that was left by previous renters, but some of that is to be expected in pet friendly place! And the very uncomfortable mattresses.
