Beautiful historic building at great downtown location

The unit was clean, comfortable walking distant to convention center and restaurants. Everything was good and the Abode staff were very helpful. I additional steps required by Abode after booking the reservation through VRBO was a bit cumbersome when it came to having to submit ID with my pic as well as my credit card info.

Worth the extra steps in reservation

Abode has a few extra steps in their reservation process in order to ensure quality guests. The property is a beautiful building and nice apartment. The location is just 2 blocks from the Convention Center and close to great restaurants. I messed up my reservation and Abode was able to very quickly respond and extend my stay.

Just as represented

Overall my stay was very pleasant. Admittedly I was barely in the unit but it was as shown on the listing. The apartment is showing its ware and age a bit but it was clean and well appointed. Location is very convenient to the convention center and downtown in general. Parking on site was fine but pricey; the unaffiliated garage across the street was much cheaper and seems better monitored. I would stay again.

Ball Park Stay

Great place and location. We could walk to most every thing we did. Nice old converted train station. ADOBE check in was horrible! Didn’t nt have my check in codes until we where almost there, no help when called them. We did have excellent help once we arrived. Pittsburgh was very clean and felt safe. Great place for a couple to stay in, would not recommend more than 2 adults in this accommodation.

Wonderful surprise in Pittsburgh

Abode, property manager, was excellent from first moment. They caught and corrected my reservation error. Second, they gave me excellent directions, from parking to how to check in. Third, when we discovered the coffee maker lid was broken, the replaced the entire unit. Abode keep in touch. The room was wonderful; it was large for a one bedroom, very clean, and easy walking distance to convention center. I felt very safe both in the building and in the neighborhood. Told everyone to ditch the cookie-cutter hotel and try VRBO for next convention.

Visiting family

Very interesting building and nice apt. Very clean and good amenities. Be prepared for nightly trains that slowly squeal along the tracks. Parking was dicey with two weddings on the weekend, but we managed using Greyhound parking. Nice walk to Point Park and other points of interest.
