Wunderschöne 2008 build im Stil der 1940 umgearbeitet, das Ferienhaus werden Sie sich wie zu Hause fühlen!

Mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten und einen direkten Zugang zum Wassersport, Sie und Ihre Familie wird sicher sein, viele bleibende Erinnerungen zu machen.

Wir bieten eine Eigenschaft mit 90 'von Wasser vor, einem riesigen Veranda Sie nur glauben, sehen müssen, und zwei Decks - eines direkt am Wasser. Bitte zögern Sie nicht Ihr eigenes Boot zu bringen, da wir viel Dock Platz zur Verfügung haben.

Careful use of the firepit is a must. Any fire must be attended at all times. Firecrackers, fireworks, firearms are prohibited.
Guests will lock the buildings while traveling away from the property. Noise will be reduced after 9pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekends.

Beautiful lake house with plenty of room and beds. Enjoyed a long weekend that the whole family enjoyed. Recommend renting a pontoon boat to enhance the stay and take advantage of the great bay and Lake Ontario. Hosts were great and helpful.

Idyllic spot for relaxing stay

We had a wonderful stay on Sodus Bay with three generations. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake, watching swans, chipmunks, and birds, kayaking, and renting a pontoon boat for the day. The home is pristine, spacious, and comfortable. The hosts made us feel right at home! We would rent again in a heartbeat!

Summer House

The Summer House is beatiful and has everything you need. We had a lovely time and will be back again for sure. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for families. Great bonfire area and lots of spaces for if you want to sneak away and read a book. The hosts are super nice and thoughtful.

Marvelous vacation home on Sodus Bay

Our family of 9 encompassing 3 generations enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Sodus Bay area for the solar eclipse. Despite the weather not cooperating the experience was awesome. We toured around the area and we had everything we could want in this rental property. Many thanks to our hostsTom and Elizabeth who met us at check in and showed us around the house. I can't say enough positives about our experience.

Fantastic stay on the bay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Summer House so much! There is a ton of space at this property and it had everything we needed to cook in the tidy kitchen. If you like porches/decks, there is SO much for you out back with a gorgeous view of Sodus Bay. The hosts are very accommodating and helped us with several suggestion for beaches and hiking. The AC is strong and came in handy when temps were in the 80s. The best endorsements I can offer is that I would stay here again. 😀👍🚤☀️🌊

Wonderful Stay in a beautiful Lake Home

6 adult family members had a wonderful stay at a beautiful Lake Home on Sodus Bay. The home was spacious, bedrooms and bathrooms large and comfortable. The kitchen had everything anyone would ever need, plenty of seating at tables inside and out. Nice covered porch keeps you out of sun and rain while still enjoying the beautiful views of the Bay. Plenty of dock space for your boat, but the water was a little shallow so be careful with your boat. For families that might have younger children there are a lot of steps to get down to the dock from the house and upper porch, it was a non event for us since we were only adults. Plenty of parking for our 4 vehicles on property. Marina to launch our boat was a few minutes away and we experienced no issues. Owners were super friendly. Would stay here again.

Great Family Vacation

We brought a group of family which had 5 adults & 5 children. Our group was Grandma & Grandpa, my sister-in-law with her 2 kids (16,18), and my wife & 3 kids (16,15,6). We chose this place because of the access for my mother-in-law who is bound to a wheelchair. Access for her was easy. The bedroom for her had an on-suite bathroom located on the first floor. You can also easily maneuver out to the deck which is the same level. The owners were incredible to work with and really made us feel welcome in their home. Everything in the home was clean and plenty of room for everyone. Sodus Point is just up the road, about a 10 minute car ride. This is a great place to unwind and relax with great living spaces and views of the water. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a great family place to enjoy Sodus bay.

rural waterside getaway

So many aspects of this house were perfect for a large group. The view and proximity to the water was grand. We were able to rent a boat nearby which allowed us to explore the bay which is beautiful. The house is well equipped aside from the lack of washer and dryer. the biggest disappointment was the condition of the lower decks and outside chairs. it is natural that outdoor area get messy, but considering the amount for the cleaning fee and the rent , I would have expected them to be cleaned before we came. They were not welcoming to sit in. Overall though it is a grand place with an amazing porch. Visitors should know the closest grocer is at least 30 minutes away and the resturants are only fair, so bring your own .

Thanks so much for writing a review about your stay at our Summer House. We take all feedback seriously. Our cleaning staff will be directed to double check all outdoor furniture. There are grocery stores, pharmacies (CVS & Walgreens), and other stores in Wolcott (15min to the east) and Sodus (15min to the west). There is also a gas station and convenience store in Alton, which is about 5 minutes from our place. There are lots of farm markets, fruit stands, and other specialty shops nearby - including a bread and cheese stand about 2 miles from our house. For future guests, we will include printed information sheets in our guest notebook. Again, thank you for the feedback. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay.

Great family times at Sodus Bay!

Great place. Lots of amenities we made dinner in house w all eight of us each night. And made some peach cobbler from local peaches. We played games each night and had great weather for a lot of time on the water. We brought two paddle boards used the supplied tubes and kayaks and rented a pontoon boat for two days from bay bridge which was much cheaper than others. It was certainly not a fancy boat. Got the job done!! Only thing I wish I knew was no functional ice maker in fridge. In fairness I did not contact owners to verify but fridge water didn't seem to be hooked up. I would have brought a portable ice maker had I known. Honestly no big deal as we just loaded up ice maker trough with bagged ice and it worked fine. Tons of hot water and cold AC if necessary. We hope to stay here again.

Family Hero

I was proclaimed a hero by my family for finding this place to stay for a son's wedding. My husband, three sons, two daughter-in-laws and two teenage grandsons enjoyed relaxing breakfasts on the top deck talking, laughing and watching the hummingbirds to start each day. We had a cookout on a lower deck and launched the kayaks from the dock. The main floor great room was even more impressive in person than in the pictures.

Wonderful Sisters' Getaway

Tom and Liz are great hosts. They were available and answered all questions about the property and the area throughout our stay. A special thanks to Liz for the delicious chocolate cake she welcomed us with. Our stay was wonderful and the home was so welcoming and comfortable! It has an amazing view from the deck where we had coffee in the morning and enjoyed beautiful sunrises over the lake as we caught up and planned our days activities. Another favorite room was the full kitchen. We cooked a few meals at home and it had everything a cook could ask for, that was big plus. We really loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!

Beautiful Lake House! Amazing deck/porches!

Tom and Elizabeth have an amazing property right on the lake. More than enough space for our group of 9 women. We were very comfortable! There is a very large and well stocked kitchen. The owners we very responsive to questions and met us at check in to make sure we were all set up. Can't say enough good things about the multiple outdoor spaces! Ate our meals outside on the porch. Absolutely beautiful decks and views! Would highly recommend a stay here!

Wonderful family house on Sodus Bay

We loved staying at the house- it was perfect for our 3 family vacation- including mobility disabled elderly parents. The decks were amazing and we spent all day outside with plenty of space for us to spread out- Shaded , awesome view with a nice breeze. The owners were a pleasure to work with and gave us goodies to start our vacation. The house was very clean, updated, beds comfy and had all of the supplies needed. The neighborhood was quiet- excellent for morning walks/runs. We had a wonderful week and plan on returning.

Wonderful home with GREAT PORCH and dock spaces!

This home was the perfect spot for our group of 8 women to gather for our work retreat. Beds were great, living spaces and kitchen were awesome but the best was the porch looking out on the lake! A wonderful sitting area and dining area made the house feel all that much bigger. They had everything we needed and we loved it so much we spent more time at the house and less time exploring just because it was so relaxing. Would love to come back 😊

An A+ Place To Stay

Our family had a wonderful long weekend at Elizabeth’s and Brad’s Summer House. The home was everything and more of what was depicted. Brad and Elizabeth were great hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay delightful, right down to the delicious pies and cider. What a great surprise. Great memories were made this weekend. The Lake House

This is a great house in an upscale area on Sodus Bay. Six of us stayed for a week. Kitchen is well equipped so we had most of our meals there although there are great restaurants in the area. Kayaks are available for the renters use.

Just beautiful

What a treat to wake up to lake views from large windows. The house is equipped with all the spices you want and even keurug coffee to use! We loved the huge fire pit. Be sure to bring some fire starter and kindle to help the wood burn. We loved time on their lake. We brought our own SUP boards and kayaks. We had another couple and they found our sit in Kayaks easier to use than their sit on My sister really hated all the weeds or whatever it was growing in the lake and as such didn’t want to just swim in it. My husband didn’t care. I was happy to kayak and SUP and use all the fun floats. The view and location was so wonderful I didn’t care about the weeds. We were woken up two days around 5 am with barking squealing dogs. Maybe if we had AC on we wouldn’t have noticed. Another night I had to listen to people playing their music a few doors down from their dock. Sigh. I do so wish people would play outdoor music only for their enjoyment. The host surprised me with a cake - as I told them we were celebrating my birthday. They also gave a great limo service recommendation foe wine tour. Diamond Limo is a awesome special wonderful way for a wine tour!! We struggled locking and unlocking the back doors! All of us did!! We loved sitting on all the decks There are not many restaurants around but we really liked the the artichoke dip at the black oven 50 60 or some such name. Captain Jack had nice fish and mozzarella sticks. Grilling had sitting by the fire were my favorite thing for meals. We enjoyed a ride to Oak Bluffs. My husband and I road our bike. My sister and her husband drove. We didn’t notice when we booked there was no washer and dryer and I had assume we had access to the lowest floor but it is closed. The site didn’t list a washer and dryer either so I just assumed with a house so large there would be one. The host greeted us for check. Nice to meet them but I was concerned about timing it right as we were driving in from Boston area. They were amicable about working with us so worked out. They are wonderful people and was nice chatting with Them but then I remember I have items that need to be refrigerated. It is a busy lake. Lots of boaters!

Wonderful house

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It was clean and spacious, well stocked with everything needed in the kitchen. We especially enjoyed the large wrap around porch which was covered and provided shade from the sun and shelter from the rain. The owners met us at the property to check in and showed us around. We would go back again!

Sodus Bay is a beautiful hidden gem in upstate New York, close to cities (Rochester and Syracuse) while being remote enough to provide quiet and serene family vacations. We built Summer House in 2008 and have loved it and shared it with others ever since!
