Charming cabin located near private lake

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is located just a few blocks from the lake. The back deck is a nice place to bbq and spend family time. The spacious front deck is a great place to sit out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Lower level contains a large dining table that seats 10, a big comfy couch, an ottoman which opens to a twin bed, and kitchen with lots of amenities. There is also one bedroom with a queen size bed and attached bathroom. On the upper level, you will find two bedrooms with queen size beds , and a Jack n Jill restroom. One of the bedrooms has a small balcony. Great place to make family memories.

The host was such a great communicator! The house was well accommodating for our family! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots and pans for a variety of meals to be cooked! Was so close to the lake and little store! Will definitely be coming back!

Mountain new years fun

I spent 2 nights over the new years eve weekend. We loved the cozy cabin, it was roomy enough for 3 kids and 4 adults. My grand daughter loved the hide away futon under the the stairs (space away from her brothers). The creek in the backyard was neat. The dinning room table was huge, great for boardgames with the grand kids . Location was easy to find, and fairly close to a small market, and a few restaurants.

Wonderful

Had a wonderful weekend! The house was beautiful, fishing was good and the weekend was relaxing. The house was close enough for me to walk to the lake and I'm an old lady not in the best of shape! The only surprise was the twin beds were downstairs so if you are a couple and need to stay on the bottom floor just be aware. Would stay again over and over.

Great!

This property was great only thing if the outside can be a bit more clean to sit down and there was spider webs in the home and the toilet paper hangers need some cleaning . Overall this house should be having deep cleaning every time it’s going to be booked. But we enjoyed staying here lots of peace and quiet. Thanks

Unfortunately spiders are out of our control, we are in the middle of the forest and can not control the bug situation. We do blow off patio between visitors but spiders seem to find their way back and because of winds pine needles and cones will always be a problem. As far as the toilet paper holder, I apologize if there was a bit of dust. We do have the cabin cleaned and sterilized after each guest.. Im glad you enjoyed your visit, I apologize for any inconvenience

A Great Place for a Mountain Getaway

I just spent three nights in this cabin with my kids and their friends. We have friends who own a really small cabin nearby so this cabin was the perfect spot for us all to get together for a meal and movie and game night. It's the perfect place to relax, enjoy the mountains and the lake, and just get away for a few days. The cabin was spotless inside. The beds are comfortable. The three decks are great! There was always a deck that was either shady or sunny, whichever you preferred at the time. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals for three days. And the downstairs area is just perfect for a group hangout. The cabin feels very private too because it's on a large corner lot with no other cabin on three sides of it. Plenty of parking which is rare in this community. The lot is bordered by Green Valley Lake Rd but what traffic there was on the road didn't bother us at all and couldn't be heard at all inside. Definitely a great place to stay!

Cute cabin

Super cute cabin but could use some maintenance and upgrades. The porches, outdoor furniture and bbq were buried under the snow from two weeks prior and were not usable. There was no hot tub but the owner did say she would correct that in the listing. The couch had seen better days and was hard to sit on. It’s probably time for a replacement because we could feel large dips in the frame and metal bars when sitting on it. It gets pretty cold in the winter and the rules are to not put the thermostat over 60, but there are no warm blankets on the beds and just coverlets and a thin sheet (which don’t keep warmth). That and the center dip in the master bedroom mattress made night time very uncomfortable. It’s definitely time to replace the mattresses and add warm blankets to the beds. All of the closets were locked so there was no place to hang clothing or store items. There were plenty of dressers which was nice. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and had a dishwasher. Be careful by the sink area because the tile doesn’t go all the way to the wall. The washer and dryer work well but are really noisy. Sounded like the dryer needed new bearings, so run your laundry when you aren’t needing quiet. The property owner is very nice and also very responsive. There is a small snow area in the front yard but no on property sledding. Overall our stay was nice and we love the town that this cabin is in. We would stay again once repairs and maintenance were completed.

Great quiet getaway

This was a great location for a cozy quiet getaway. There was a small creek from snow melt that ran behind the house and was a pleasant surprise! We'd definitely come back!

Great Family Thanksgiving Getaway!!!

Comfy and classy

We had a great time! We planned to go to the beach and/or to LA. But when we got to the cabin it was so beautiful and relaxing we decided not to leave. We were so close that we walked to the lake and then relaxed on the patio here listening to the birds. This was a perfect get away in the hidden town of Green Valley. With three big bedrooms we all had our own space and with the full kitchen we were able to make great meals. The BBQ outside was nice for grilling up some meat. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

Love the theme of the interior decoration

This is the first time for me to host the family union and enjoyed the stay. It is a truly a quiet getaway place and the people in the town are so friendly. Just a FYI, you will be responsible to take the trash to the disposal site and the site has limited access days. If you happened to stay during the days that the site are not open (weekends only), you will need to take your trash with you. It was not a big deal for us because we took a bag to the trash can by the lake ( we had a small amount of trash). Overall, it was a great vacation for my family!

Birthday getaway!

Wow! Just wow! What an awesome weekend we had! There was plenty of snow, the roads had been plowed, so we didn't need to use our chains. This property is well maintained and decorated so cute. We had plenty of room for the whole family. We loved it and hope to stay again in late spring early summer!! We would like to see the lake area in warmer weather. If I could rate it with 10 stars I would!

Family getaway

Perfect for a family getaway. Lots of snow to play in by the home. 15 mins. from tubing park & snow valley resort. Owner was very responsive. Love the large dining table. It’d be nice if there was a light above it but that’s minor since there’s lighting in the living room & kitchen. The layout of the home is great with the decks on both levels & also a plus having a bedroom & bath downstairs for people who have issues with stairs. Overall a great experience!

Great weekend getaway!

We have stayed at this property before, and we loved it so much we were thrilled when we were able to stay here again. It is a spacious home, and it has a very comfortable feel to it. There are plenty of plates, dishes, utensils, and cookware. The porch was a great place to have "happy hour" and watch the birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and trees. We wish there was a light above the dining room table for our game playing, but we brought out one of the table lamps from the bedrooms, and that worked just fine. We would definitely stay here again! Debbie

Loved this home! Love our stay!

Our stay was wonderful! Location was great! Loved this home! It was perfect! It is so much nicer in person. All the essentials you need. We got there and the house was cold but once we turned on the heater, the house was warmed up immediately. The refrigerator was nice and cold. I will definitely stay here again. Look forward to our next stay 😊

Sweet family getaway

Beautiful house with cabin decor. The property had all the kitchen amenities we needed. Owner was very responsive with questions before check in and we had no problems during our stay. The home is right in the middle of green valley lake, walking distance to lake and shops. It didn’t snow while we were there, but plenty of snow left from the week before. The kiddos had a blast in this home! It’s a quiet little town, very peaceful and a real getaway from city life. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back.
