Le Chalet Blanc - Magnifique chalet sur les pistes

Enjoy a stay in an enchanting setting in the charming village of La Giettaz and come and enjoy the comfort of this 120 m² chalet, which overlooks the resort and offers a breathtaking view of the Val d'Arly mountains. Access to the slopes is direct from the chalet's ski room!

This accommodation, which sleeps up to 14 people, combines modern lines with the authenticity of wood, making it ideal for a getaway with friends or family! You'll have a lovely, light-filled living room with a lounge and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms (one with a balcony), 3 bathrooms and a balcony with a sloping roof to enjoy the panoramic views. Parking space. Wifi internet access. Bed linen and towels extra. Cleaning required, to be paid for by our service provider.

The house :
The accommodation on 3 levels is composed as follows:

Ground floor:
- A garage providing parking for 2 vehicles.
- Bedroom 1: double bed with wardrobe, TV.
- Bedroom 2: double bed with wardrobe and small balcony.
- Shower room with walk-in shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and WC.

Middle floor:
- A beautiful, light-filled living room with a sitting area featuring two sofas, a coffee table, a TV and a dining area with a dining table for up to 10 guests.
- The kitchen opens onto the living room, and is fully equipped with fridge, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machines (Nespresso and classic), food processor, etc.
- Bedroom 3: double bed with storage space, TV, en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, double washbasin and heated towel rail.
- Separate WC

Lower floor:
- A ski room with an entrance directly onto the piste. There are two benches, shelves and a boot dryer.
- Bedroom 4: A dormitory with two bunk beds (one double bed below, one single bed above each), 2 single beds and storage space.
- Bathroom with walk-in shower and double washbasin, washing machine/dryer and towel rail.

Outside:
- A large balcony runs around the chalet, with a magnificent view of the mountains and slopes! It is furnished with two armchairs and a table.

Neighbourhood:
The accommodation is located in La Giettaz, a charming little Savoyard village, very authentic, located between La Clusaz and Mégève. You'll find all the amenities you need: a tobacconist/newsagent/souvenirs shop and bar, a mini-market, which also serves as a bakery, 3 restaurants, 1 hotel, 1 bakery, 1 tourist office with 1 activity leader available at the height of the season.

Nearby:
- You'll be right on the ski slopes!
- The 150 km ski area stretches as far as Combloux and Megève. In Megève, a shuttle bus provides access to the Contamines-Montjoie ski area during the season.
- Downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledging and dog-sledding are the main winter activities.
- Discover the flora and fauna, accompanied by a local guide; mountain walks, swimming at the Flumet lake (5km).
- Visit a dairy (where Reblochon cheese is made) and mountain pasture farms.
- The Fête des Alpages takes place every year on 15 August at the top of the Col des Arravis in La Giettaz.
- In early July, the Tour de France regularly passes the Col des Arravis, sometimes even in front of the chalet!

Transport :
- The best way to get around is by car
- A free shuttle bus to Le Plan (3.5 km) runs every 1/2 hour during the day in winter.
- Taxis are available in the village.
- Bus links to the surrounding villages: Flumet, Praz-sur-Arly and La Clusaz.

Other comments:
- Two security cameras are installed on the outside overlooking the two entrances to the accommodation. These cameras are deactivated from mid-December to the end of April.
- Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request at an additional cost (hire and payment to be made with our local partner).
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean and tidy condition and clean all appliances after use.
- A cot and high chair are available on site.
- All televisions are equipped with a Google Chromecast and access to Netflix on Amazon Prime. There are Sonos lamp speakers in the living room.
- Another chalet adjoins Chalet Blanc, so please respect the neighbours.
