Dear Kaylee, This property has been on the rental market for several years now, creating beautiful memories for many guests who enjoyed their stay and kept coming back. VRBO, Airbnb and our own website has multiple reviews supporting this. This villa is found in the beachfront residential community and is privately owned. The owners poured their heart and soul into renovating it just recently, with all brand new furniture and precious interior pieces. This is their second home that they cherish and they want their guests to enjoy each corner of this house. Our rental company has been managing the properties in El Encanto de La Laguna community for 15 years now with thousands of clients who have praised the personal attention we give and customer service. I am not sure what you mean by "property manager and staff were out to get us". We greet each client at the beachfront club with the welcome drink, the check-in hour is, as stated, at 3 pm. The residence host introduces you to the property and is available for any service request. As for your chef and butler, the only request we had for you is to let us know their arrival schedule and their information, so we could communicate that to the security team to facilitate the process for them to get into the private community. They actually expressed an interest in working with our concierge team for the future clients. As for the damages charged, VRBO has the owner's protection program - the platform does a hold of the damage deposit on the client's card. We had to make a claim for the damages caused, because unfortunately the property was not treated in a respectful way and the damages done to the furniture generated a considerable expense to the owner. Both pre-arrival and post-arrival inventory list has been documented and sent to VRBO as requested by the platform. VRBO accepted the claim and the evidence provided. El Encanto Villas Team
