Escape to our coastal-inspired Matlock retreat! Just steps from the lake, a beautiful family-friendly beach, and one of Dunnottar’s iconic piers. After a day in the sand, relax in our lovingly renovated cabin, with fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, 65" TV, high speed internet and three Scandinavian inspired bedrooms. Enjoy the covered deck and sunroom, grill on the bbq or gather around the firepit. Your perfect Interlake getaway for sun, swimming, and making memories.

Our cabin is optimized for a comfortable, stress-free stay, so you can enjoy the beach, pier and lake, less than 60m walk along the large green space in front of the cabin - no need to worry about roads or cars!

Sleeping Arrangements: The home has three bedrooms: one with a queen bed and two with double beds. There is also a queen pull-out sofa in the living room (Sleeps 8 total).

Entryway: A dedicated mudroom equipped with storage, dedicated shoe racks, lots of hooks, a washing machine and dryer.

​Living & Dining: Open-concept living with a 65" Smart TV and electric fireplace. A large, locally made, dining table that seats 8. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, electric stove and everything that you would expect to cook delicious meals including pots, pans, cooking utensils, cutting boards, bowls, cutlery, crockery, etc.

Sunroom and Deck: Enjoy the enclosed deck and sunroom, featuring a large table that seats 10 people, with views across the greenspace out front and the lake less than 50m away.

Water: A water cooler is available for your use. The house has well water, which is safe to drink, but some guests may prefer to refill their jugs with drinking water from the nearby artesian well or at Matlock Village Junction.

The home also includes a natural gas BBQ for your use.

Other Details:

Trash: The outdoor garbage bin is located at the corner of the property by the back lane. Please place recyclables in the clear blue bags beside the bin.

Smoking: This is a strictly non-smoking and non-vaping home. Thank you for respecting this policy.

Security: For safety and security, exterior cameras are installed to monitor the yard and driveway.
