Tucked on Murranar Road in Towradgi — one of Wollongong’s most loved coastal pockets — this 1-bedroom retreat is designed for guests who want the full coastal experience without compromise. Whether you’re here for a long weekend with your partner, a family escape, a workcation with the dog, or a solo reset, Murranar delivers.


The Space
Bedroom
A generous queen bed dressed in quality linen sits at the heart of the retreat. Blackout blinds, a ceiling fan, and a smart TV ensure you sleep well and wake on your own terms. The room is calm, uncluttered, and designed for rest.

Living Area
The lounge is your base camp — a comfortable sofa that converts to a double bed (sleeping a further 2 guests), smart TV with streaming, and a dining table for meals in or planning your next adventure. The space flows naturally to the private courtyard, so fresh air is always an arm’s reach away.

Kitchen
Fully equipped for everything from a quick breakfast to a proper dinner. Coffee machine, toaster, full cookware, stovetop, oven, microwave, and all the essentials. No dishwasher, but everything you need is here. Wollongong’s best cafes and restaurants are also a short walk away.

Bathroom
Full bathroom with shower, bath, hairdryer, and quality toiletries provided. Everything you need, nothing you don’t.

Courtyard
Your own private outdoor space — seating, fresh air, and a quiet corner to decompress when you’re not at the beach. Perfect for morning coffee, evening drinks, or letting your dog stretch out after a big walk.

Murranar is a genuinely dog-friendly property — not just tolerant, but set up for it.

• 1 dog per booking (please register your pet prior to booking)
• Dogs sleep inside with you
• Private courtyard for morning and evening access
• Towradgi Beach is 50m away — dogs on-leash before 9am and after 6pm (summer) / after 4pm (winter). Perfect for early morning beach walks.
• East Corrimal Beach — the nearest off-leash dog beach — is a 15-minute coastal walk north. A large off-leash lagoon where dogs can swim freely. One of the best dog beaches in the Illawarra.
• Bellambi Beach (off-leash, all times) is approximately 1.5km away.

Dog bowls, a blanket, poop bags, and treats are provided. Your dog will love it here as much as you do.

Getting Around
Parking: Free street parking directly outside the property. No permit required.

Train: Fairy Meadow Station is a 15–18 minute walk. Regular services to Wollongong and Sydney.

Cycling: The coastal cycleway is at your door. Wollongong CBD is a 20-minute ride along the coast.
