Enjoy a peaceful stay in the heart of beautiful Whiritoa. This cosy retreat is only steps from the beach and offers stunning ocean glimpses. Ideal for a solo traveller or couple wanting a relaxing break in a stunning coastal setting.
1-minute walk to beach.
5-minute walk to general store.
Self-contained studio with private entrance/exit. The living area of the studio comprises of a Queen Bed with side tables, hanging space, small table and chairs for dining or wfh set-up. Includes with Google TV, WiFi and an oil heater for cooler nights.
The kitchen is self-contained and fully equipped with full size fridge, oven and microwave (no dishwasher).
Full bathroom with washing machine.
All linen is provided including beach towels.
Outdoor shower for rinsing after your swim.

The studio is on the ground floor with garden views and glimpses of the ocean.
Beach access via a sandy track, no roads to cross.
On a clear night the lack of light pollution allows amazing views of the stars.
Whiritoa beach is a small, relaxed beach community between Whangamata and Waihi. It has a general store providing takeaway food, a small selection of groceries, coffee, ice creams and drinks.
The area has beautiful beach walks. One end has a lagoon that can be crossed at low tide for a scenic bush walk to Waimama Bay. The views along the way are stunning. The Bay is uncrowded and relaxing, with Pohutukawa trees lining the beach front for shade and perhaps a picnic. The other end of the beach offers a walking track with rewarding views at the end.
A small walk from the property has a family park, with BBQ facilities, a playground and stunning views out across the gulf.

The beach can be tranquil or wild. Care should be taken when swimming as there can be big waves and a strong undertow. Enjoy bush walks, fishing or golfing, it’s all just a walk or short drive away.
