The host was super attentive and checked in a few times. The kitchen was fully stocked but no room in the cabinets for groceries. We made due with the big island though! The wine fridge was super handy and the movie theater was an added bonus. Plenty of places for us to lounge around for our book retreat weekend! Only downfall was the plug in fans and mattress could be updated but we overall enjoyed our stay!

Overall the stay was good, some knicks and knacks but nothing major, very good for a rental space… it’s got good space, good amenities, minutes walk away from pool and courts area, very dark at night tho… take flash lights!! Communication with host was top notch!! He was responsive all the time and within a reasonable time frame. I’d definitely like to come back sometime.

Amazing Stay!

Been to the poconos a few times and rarely got that much snow before (5+ in) so it was amazing! Home was so cozy most of us just napped throughout the day. Dmitry was wonderful and made sure we were all comfy. Great location!

Perfect house for a getaway

I have rented several places in the Poconos over the years, and a few in Big Bass Lake, and my friends and I agreed that this was the best one yet. The house is in great condition for a rental property. The layout is great, plenty of space, and there is a lot to keep you entertained. The owner was great to work with and very accommodating. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Good House for Hang-Outs

We wanted a place we could play video games and board games together. This place had lots of good options for what we needed (large couch, kitchen and gaming table, theater seating). The host communicated and made sure there wasn’t anything we needed. The house was clean and in good condition. No complaints.A few minor things we also appreciated: there were plenty of bowls, plates, and cups so we never ran out. The master bath shower had good water pressure. Linens were provided and there were plenty of towels. Nice soaps and shampoos were also available in the bathrooms.

Fun family house and location!

Perfect house for families and friends! Dmitry was a wonderful host - Responded immediately to all questions and was available the entire holiday week! The listing is exactly as stated - a well stocked kitchen, wonderful backyard, especially for our kids who loved the trampoline and the obstacle course. Also, close to all major attractions in the poconos. We enjoyed the lake and the pool on the grounds, all very clean and well taken care of. We will definitely be back!

Great weekend getaway!

House was clean and exactly as pictured. Felt safe as the house is in a private gated community. Close to all winter activities we were looking do, 15min to Kalahari and 25min to Camelback. Great game / cinema room provided lots of room for the kids to play. Stephen is a great host, very responsive throughout the whole process.

Our host Dmitry was wonderful and very responsive. He made sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. All the toiletries, shampoos, soaps etc…were very nice name brand items. So nice to not have to bring those things! The house is big and had plenty of room for our large family. The movie room was great and we made great use of that. Even with no cable, we enjoyed streaming all we wanted to watch. The kids loved the trampoline even in the snow! We enjoyed the indoor pool at the community center. One thing we wish we knew ahead of time was that the community has a nice sledding hill, just bring your own sled which we did not know about so we didn’t have one. However it would’ve been nice if at least 1 was at the house for use and directions and information on where the community hill is. We found it on our last day.We tried to go tubing at the resort parks but camelback was ridiculous in cost, 90 per person for 2 hours. Prices seem to have gone up on everything including rentals due to Christmas. But with a Groupon deal we had a nice time at Aquatopia. The kitchen in the house had everything we needed. Lots of pots and pans, dishes, bowls etc. So nice having many bathrooms! We did wish there were hooks in the bathrooms for all our wet towels after showering. Just a towel bar in each bathroom didn’t really do it for all of us. But of course there’s a nice big washer and dryer which we used with lots of detergents and softeners. You won’t regret staying here!

Great Family Vacation!

The house was clean and very comfortable for our family vacation of 7 adults and 3 children. We enjoyed time at the lake and outdoor pool as well as some area attractions. The kids loved playing air hockey and watching movies on the huge TV as well as just throwing a football around in the back yard. It was nice to know that the owner was nearby in case we had any problems but we didn’t as everything was perfect. We are already talking about possibly returning next year. Thank you Steven!!

Great weekend family getaway!

Great family house! - Dmitry was an excellent host, very quick with responses, attentive to any questions and very thorough! The house was just as pictured, great size for three families(6 adults and 5 young children) to spread out and enjoy a little retreat to the mountains! I would mention that the fifth bedroom is located in the basement. It still worked for us, but we did not realize prior and we’re traveling with 5 young children who were all sleeping in separate rooms from parents. There are three nicely sized bedrooms on the third floor, the master on the main floor and then the 5th in the basement. The house was very clean, set up with linens and towels in each room. House does not have central AC, which worked out fine bc it was very chilly when visiting but it was a bit warm our first night on the third floor even with fans. Basement theatre room was very nice, and a great place to hang out! The community was very quiet which was nice, offering two playgrounds for young kids to enjoy, the best one being a short walk from the house. This was also the location of the outdoor pool and splash pad. Unfortunately the weather was not great when we were there so we were unable to use the outdoor pool and splash pad, which looked very nice! Host was gracious enough to allow us to take our time leaving on check out day since the weather did not cooperate during our stay. The indoor pool was open the one night for a few hours but they still charged you for a full day pass ($10/pp) and it was not very clean. We would not use that facility again if we return to the same community. Overall it was a great weekend getaway, a very nice home, and the Dmitry was a top notch host!

Fantastic stay - great owner

When staying in a community like this where most of the homes generally offer similar amenities, finding a good owner is key to a good vacation. Stephen is a GREAT owner - responsive, reasonable, helpful, and polite. The house was just as described. Bathrooms, kitchens, and basement all seem to have been remodeled recently. The driveway was both long and wide to allow easy access. The fridge was huge and was put to good use. All the normal kitchen accessories were there (pots, pans, casserole dishes, can opener, traditional coffee maker, 4-slice toaster, etc.). This home is very, very close (walkable) to the club house/community center where the pool, playground, splashpad, and tennis/pickleball courts are. One word of caution – only the playground is included. Otherwise there is a charge of about $6/day for a pass to participate in the rest. Also, you’ll need to bring towels as the community center does not provide them. The guard at the booth where you first enter the community took his job extremely seriously and had horrible customer service – more of a drill sergeant than a “welcome to the community”. He needed Stephen’s first and last name, the entire property address, names of everybody in the car, and my license plate number. Be prepared so you don’t hold up the line of cars behind you. All three of the TVs were newer and had cable and HDMI connections. Wifi was strong and fast throughout the house. We missed having a DVD/Blueray player but just spent more time playing cards in the great game room on the first floor. I highly recommend this home. We’ll definitely look into staying here again next year. It and Stephen were a winner on all fronts.

President's Day Weekend in Poconos

Perfect size for my family of 12. Close to indoor waterparks and ski resorts. My multi generational family enjoyed the spacious home with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Couldn't be more happy. We will definitely come back to this home in the future.
