The Space:

This 2,045-square-foot (190 m²) home features a three-step entry and overlooks the old-world-style architecture in Las Catalinas. It is conveniently located a few steps away from the beach, as well as the town's local shopping and dining options.



This professionally decorated home has a modern, elegant design, complemented with local artwork that embodies the laid-back “pura vida” lifestyle in Costa Rica. The living room features a TV and a comfortable pull-out sofa that can sleep one adult or two small children.



This home features a fully equipped kitchen and dining space, stocked with high-end appliances, including a gas cooktop and stove, a microwave, a full-size refrigerator with an ice maker, a coffee machine, a tea kettle, and a blender. It also boasts a breakfast bar with seating for four guests.



Avenida la antigua 14A features one spacious bedroom with sky-high cathedral ceilings and massive windows that offer picture-perfect views of Las Catalina’s stunning architecture. The room features a king-sized bed with matching nightstands and a full-sized dresser, a closet, a safe, and a ceiling fan. The home also includes one full-sized bathroom.



This single-story home features an alarm system and includes a washer and dryer. The home comes with air conditioning and internet, and pets are welcome for an additional fee — read our pet policy below for details. The space is stocked with games, beach chairs, a picnic cooler, and beach towels you can bring to use at the beach. The area is patrolled 24/7 by a security guard for your safety and includes an assigned parking space for one vehicle.



Guests at Avenida la antigua 14A can access the Las Catalinas Beach Club for an additional cost. At the Beach Club, you’ll have access to a hot tub, a restaurant, a gym, and three swimming pools — a kid-friendly pool for families, a secluded pool for adults, and a lap pool. The Beach Club also offers a sauna and an ice plunge pool for an extra fee.



Pet-Friendly Policy



We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.

The Neighborhood:

Las Catalinas



Las Catalinas is a unique development north of Potrero built in the style of an Old World Mediterranean village, with fountains and car-free streets made of paving stones. It’s right in front of the beautiful Playa Danta, at the northern end of a road that connects to Potrero, Flamingo and Brasilito to the south.



In addition to its many high-end homes, Las Catalinas has two luxury hotels, Casa Chameleon and Santarena Hotel, both with great restaurants. Las Catalinas has a gourmet grocery store, clothing shops, adventure outfitters and various eateries. Just be advised that prices here are a bit high.



Access to the beach is free and open to the public, and there’s lots of shade. The hills behind Las Catalinas also have miles of trails used for hiking and mountain biking, and there’s a bike rental shop in town.



Las Catalinas is one hour from the international airport in Liberia. Several towns and beaches are within a 20-minute drive, including Potrero, Flamingo and Brasilito.



Getting Around:

You will be contacted via email, text, or app notification with instructions to complete this process. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival.
