The size and layout of the condominium, including the sleeping arrangements, are accurately represented in the listing photographs and description so that guests can make an informed decision before booking. I do, however, want to clarify the comments regarding damages. I have hosted guests through Vrbo for several years and have never previously needed to make a damage claim. I personally clean and inspect my condominium between guests because it is my home, and I take considerable care to ensure that it is properly maintained and ready for each arrival. Following this stay, I discovered water damage to the bathroom baseboards that had not been present beforehand. I also contacted the previous guest, who confirmed that there had been no issue with the bathroom during her stay. A soaking-wet towel was found on the bathroom floor after checkout, which was also concerning given the location of the damage. Importantly, no concern regarding the shower or water in the bathroom was reported to me during the stay. The guests contacted me when they required assistance accessing the parking garage and again regarding the thermostat, so there was clearly an opportunity to contact me had there been a problem with the shower. I would have responded immediately. I agree that documenting the condition of a vacation rental is good practice for both guests and hosts.
