Our cottage is located less than 30 metres from Lake Erie and comes with natural environmental conditions that are common to the area.

Lake Insects & Spiders
Seasonal hatches of mayflies, midges, and other lake insects may occur depending on weather and water temperatures. As part of the natural ecosystem, spiders are common and may build webs overnight, even after cleaning.

To protect Lake Erie's environment and comply with Ontario environmental regulations, we do not use excessive chemical pesticides

Weather conditions can affect outdoor amenities at any time. Wind may deposit leaves, sand, dust, insects. Rain may leave surfaces wet or create temporary puddles. During cooler months, frost, snow, ice, or freezing temperatures may limit access to or enjoyment of outdoor spaces.
