Newly renovated beach home on Lake Erie, home to some of the greatest fresh water fishing in the world. Fresh water diving lake erie has more than 200 shipwrecks!! Fun for everyone, with a 45-minute drive to Niagara Falls or a 40-minute drive to get to the vineyards to visit the wineries of Niagara. Or you can just stay in and stay on your private beach and relax.

Beautiful place to holiday

My family and I stayed at this cottage for a week and all agreed that after over 15 years of staying in the area for a week each year, this was one of our favorites. Loved it!

What a great spot! And a beautiful house. And you had those things we didn’t bring, like salt & pepper, spices, a spatula, among so many others. Lots of games to choose from. The best part is across the street - sitting under the tree or in the lake with its vast sandbar. And a good strong hot shower after a day in the sun. Thank you.

Great View!

We had a great time staying at the house. The owners have thought of everything. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. It was quiet, clean with an incredible view. We got our kayak and paddle boards out on the water a few times. Walking distance to Hippo’s is a plus and you will definitely enjoy the food. If we are back in the area we would love to stay again!

Nice lakefront view!

This cottage is just as it looks in the photos, if not better! Very clean, and pleasantly decorated, with lots of space. Anything, and everything, you could need can be found if you look around a bit, These owners have thought of everything. And, Hippo's food truck just four doors down and across the road is a bonus. Great food and ice cream with a nice view of the lake. Less than an hour away is Port Dover, a great way to spend a day strolling and shopping. Only one downside...this particular area of the lake is quite rocky. However, if it's a sandy beach you're looking for a public beach is just 10 minutes down the road at Long Beach. Overall, a definite 5 star rating!

Lakeside Retreat

We love the beaches at Lowbanks and it was so nice to be able to find such a beautiful cottage right by the lake that allowed dogs! We truly enjoyed our stay! Hippos was great for a quick snack as well it’s not even a 5 min walk from the cottage! :)

Lovely Cottage by the Lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. Exactly as described but the pictures really don’t do it justice. Great place to walk our dog too. We would definitely recommend it and would love to stay again if we are ever back in the area. Loved it!!!
