Willkommen in der Surf Room! Kommen Sie und leben und spielen Sie wie ein Einheimischer in unserem an der Küste inspirierten Gästeapartment in der begehrten Sandabteilung, nur wenige Schritte vom berühmten weißen Sand von Manhattan Beach, Kalifornien, entfernt. Dieses große, 700 Quadratmeter große Studio-Apartment befindet sich in der untersten Etage unseres Hauses und verfügt über einen eigenen Eingang, einen Parkplatz für ein Auto und alles, was Sie benötigen, um das Strandleben am besten zu erleben. Der Pier und die Innenstadt, das Herz der Stadt (sowie der Hermosa Beach) mit seinen Restaurants, Boutiquen und Einzelhändlern sind zu Fuß erreichbar.

Dieses Haus ist neu gebaut und im Mai 2015 abgeschlossen. Es liegt verkehrsgünstig an einer der berühmten walkstreets Manhattan Beach in der wünschenswerten südlichen Ende befindet, sechs Häuser aus dem Sand und Radweg.

Der Surf Room ist unser großes Studio-Apartment am Strand. Es hat viel Platz zum Entspannen sowie ausreichend Stauraum (Haken zum Aufhängen Strand-Utensilien, Handtücher und Strandtaschen, cubbies zur Lagerung). Es verfügt über ein separates Bad Bereich mit begehbarer Dusche, einem Bar-Bereich für Kaffee am Morgen und / oder Nachmittag Getränke und Snacks, viele Sitzgelegenheiten für gerade hängen. Sie haben auch Zugang zu einer privaten Terrasse mit Blick auf unseren schönen Strand. Und ein Parkplatz für ein Auto direkt vor Ihrer Tür! Unsere Familie genießt es, und wir würden uns freuen, um es mit Ihnen teilen.

Die Einheit ist für zwei Personen eingerichtet, kann jedoch auf Anfrage zwei Erwachsene und möglicherweise ein kleines Kind beherbergen (in einer PackNPlay / Matratze nur auf dem Boden). Eine vorherige Genehmigung ist erforderlich.

Walking distance to the heart of Manhattan Beach and its wonderful shops and restaurants. Simple access to the beach and the strand which are just down the hill. Nice outdoor area to enjoy a book and coffee.

Wonderful spot in Manhattan Beach

This is a great place from which to explore Manhattan Beach. Only a block from the beach and an easy walk to all the great restaurants. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio looking out over the waves. The hosts were very welcoming and provided great communication.

Manhattan Beach Surf Room

I had a wonderful experience staying at Phil and Mica’s Surf Room. I traveled by myself, and I found the accommodations and location perfect for my weekend in Manhattan Beach. I was able to walk to all the nearby restaurants and bars. The room was very spacious and had all the amenities I needed. Phil and Mica were excellent hosts, and I would happily stay at their place again.

Lovely basement Surf Room

Great location to beach. Nice outdoor area and beautiful flowers surrounding. There was no dishwasher or stove if you were staying for a long time. Refrigerator didn’t have a freezer. Nice place for a short stay however.

A Lovely Stay in The Surf Room

I had a lovely five-night stay in The Surf Room and highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Manhattan Beach. Everything about the property was wonderful - the location, the decor, how it was equipped, etc. In addition, Phil and Mica were great hosts. I have no suggestions regarding anything that could be improved.

The property is gorgeous and the views are amazing!! Phil met us upon arrival and was extremely gracious and walked us through how to operate everything when we first checked in. My only issue was there was no AC and my wife and I could not get good sleep bc there’s no airflow bc only one window that opens an inch and no AC pretty much made sleeping impossible so we left a day early so we could get some rest but the property was beautiful and Phil was great.

Concert and beach vacation

GREAT location and beautiful, welcoming beachfront home!! Short downhill walk to the beach, short bike ride to Hermosa Beach, easy walk to downtown Manhattan Beach, and short Uber rides to Santa Monica Pier, SoFi Stadium, and LAX. Many reviews mention the lack of AC which concerned us at first, but we quickly realized that it wasn’t needed. With an open window/door and fan, the cool beach air kept the downstairs unit very comfortable during the day and evening (mid-June). We enjoyed coffee on the private patio each morning. Communication with Phil and Mica was very quick and easy and they were both very genuine and accommodating. All items needed for a day at the beach were provided (chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler, bikes, etc), which was very appreciated! The small kitchenette had all we needed to make a quick continental style breakfast and lunch. We will definitely be making a return visit to the Surf Room for another amazing Cali beach vacation in the near future.

Nice visit.

We were in town for a wedding in Palos Verdes and to visit LA. The location was perfect for getting to the wedding, the airport, and anything else in the LA area. Manhattan Beach was better than we imagined with lots of activity, beautiful beaches, volleyball, surfing, and good dining. I got burned with a parking tiicket for the street cleaner, but that was my fault. We wished there were cooking facilities, but that was just a minor issue, overall.

Loved this little gem of a place. Same price or less than a hotel room and much much roomier. It was extremely clean and the owners were so personable and responsive. The neighborhood is perfect and quiet and the studio is a block from the beach. We’ll definitely be back in the future!

Phil and Mica were very accommodating. They didn’t hesitate to let our son stay and visit with us there for a couple of days. Place is very quaint and comfortable. Enjoyed relaxing on the patio area. Absolutely loved being able to walk to the beach every day.

Perfect Stay by the Strand

It felt like it is was our own little bungalow by the beach! If you enjoy being by the ocean, walking to cute coffee/breakfast bars in the morning and biking on the strand then this is THE place to stay! Total surfer vibe throughout the place! Phil and Mica are great hosts to work with and very responsive if any needs come up! Would stay here every time!!!

Surf room stay

We were impressed with the owner and his courteous responses to our questions and concerns. We were under the impression that the living space would have a view from our room but it’s down in the basement with very little light. It was nicely decorated and very clean. As a nice gesture they could have had coffee available since there was a coffee pot. If you just want to sleep and don’t mind on the darker side it’s a great place and nice owners.

Great location and property

Stayed for 3 nights in mid January and had a great time. Location is perfect and walking distance to downtown MB. If you are trying to work remotely, may want to bring your own hot spot as WiFi is somewhat spotty. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Perfect Location

This lovely studio is right across the street from the ocean. The private outdoor patio gives you a view of the water and is surrounded by lush greenery. The pier is only a 10 minute walk that offers plenty of restaurants and quaint stores. The hosts couldn’t be more hospitable. This was our second stay here and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Manhattan Beach is our happy place!

Perfect Location just as advertised

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Surf Room. It was the perfect location and we absolutely loved having access to an outdoor space with a view of the ocean. It was clean and was as advertised. The only comment we would make is it gets stuffy in the room as there is no air conditioning and there is only one small window that opens for circulation. Something to consider if you are planning on staying during the summer. There were fans provided which did help. This is not a complaint, simply a preference for me and my husband. We absolutely would stay again at the Surf Room and so should you!!

We have lived in Manhattan Beach for 45 years and raised our four children here. In May 2015, we completed the construction of our dream home. With a large and growing family of beach lovers, it's the perfect house. We live on the property and are available to answer questions or offer suggestions. We have furnished the apartment in a comfortable beach oriented decor. We will also supply our visitors with everything needed for the perfect vacation at the beach. Our unit is ideal to experience beach life at it's best. We look forward to having you come and visit us.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We have moved three times within Manhattan Beach since first moving here in 1977, finally getting to where we wanted to be, just steps from the beach and the Pacific ocean. We built this house from the ground up, incorporating everything that we ever wanted in a beach home. Our property is located in the highly desirable south end of the Sand Section. It is in a residential area, so you will definitely experience "living like a local". Everything is within short walking and biking distances (both Manhattan and Hermosa beach cities).

Our rental may say "Studio", but it's much much more. We built it for our own four children and their families to use when they visit (as they all live out of state now), to have place to put their stuff, shower, and relax after a day in the sun and sand with their children. In other words, their own private space to relax and enjoy. The unit includes a large sitting area, bar with small refrigerator and microwave, large walk-in shower, lots of storage, Queen-size bed. Unlike most studios, you will sleep in a regular bed and still have a large sitting area to eat and relax in. You will also have access to a private outdoor area overlooking the beach to sit and sip your morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine! Also, parking for one car is right outside the door!!!
