Fishing Trip

Our stay was fabulous, close to a number of lakes so that my son and grandsons could easily get to, close to Hayward for shopping and so peaceful. Beautifully decorated and watching the hummingbirds from the deck was an extra bonus.

Fantastic Spot near Nelson Lake

We booked this property for a multi-couple weekend and it was perfect. Everyone had a room, nice spacious house, and a close location to our friends and the fun of Nelson Lake!

Great place to stay in the middle of everything

This cabin is very accommodating when traveling as groups with couples. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own area, plus have a fantastic amount of rooms to hang out as a group! Will definitely be back!

Peaceful solitude

Our family of five adults stayed here for a long weekend and everyone had plenty of space to rest and relax. The home is beautiful and well-appointed, and the location is nicely private. Easy access to Hayward for shopping and dining. Highly recommended!

Loved it!!

This place was perfect - had all the amenities and space we could ask for. It is well maintained and stocked and so nice for our family to all stay together but yet keep our own space. Highly recommend!!! Thank you for having us!!

Peaceful property

Property is in a very peaceful setting, close to everything you may need, but far enough from the city to still get away. Property was clean and had enough space for all. Communication with Todd was easy and quick. Would stay there again

Birkie weekend

Clean, comfy, great land. We had three generations stay here and we’re extremely comfortable. The pool table/ ping pong table was an added bonus. We would gladly stay here again. Todd was also very responsive and flexible with our changing schedule

3rd Time here

This was our 3rd time staying here, great property! We really enjoy being out in the woods, we usually snowmobile while we stay, this time we brought UTV. We really enjoyed the warm weather in February. Took a walk on the small trail in the backyard.

Fat Tire Weekend

Another year of the Cheq Fat Tire Fest has come and gone, but staying at this home is always a huge benefit. Plenty of space to spread out and relax pre and post race, all amenities you would need and easy access to downtown Hayward. Great communication as always, and have enjoyed staying here the last 3 years for Chequamegon.

Perfect Holiday Stay

This property was excellent for our Holiday family stay. Three floors of rooms gave us a great amount of room for three adult couples and an infant, and the living room was a perfect space to spend time together. The finished basement (with pool table) was a much used bonus as well. The property was very clean and had everything that was needed for a stay. The host - Jodi was very fast in replying to questions and a very good communicator. We would recommend this property to all.

UTV trip

Property was beautiful! Perfect set up for multiple couples-pleanty of privacy in different areas of the house. No over the top cleaning instructions, all supplies that would be normally provided were there. Great communication with host, let us check in early so we could start our vacation!

Cute and cozy house!

We had a terrific time staying at this warm and inviting home! The gas fireplace truly added to the Northwoods feel. Incredibly spacious with plenty of activities including 2 large flat screen tv's as well as an awesome pool and ping pong table that provided entertainment for the entire family! Every room was spotless and kitchen was fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Communication with Jodi and Todd was fantastic! This will definitely be on our favorites list for future visits to Hayward.

Family Time

This beautiful cabin was a perfect retreat for our family. There was plenty of room to gather in the kitchen, living room, and family room downstairs. When someone needed a little downtime the bedrooms provided cozy retreats from the hubbub. Ski trails are so close - there was no snow but we had plenty of great hikes instead of skiing. Loved it!

Annual Chequamegon MTB Weekend

This is the second year we’ve stayed here for the Cheq Fat Tire weekend. The home is large and has a very welcoming feel to it. Tucked off the road on a gravel access road it’s super quiet and relaxing. Communication with the owners was easy and they were quick to respond. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 young children (aged 4-8). Plenty of room to roam and relax, and easy access to downtown Hayward and the surrounding area. Great amenities and everything you need for a great trip to the north woods. We look forward to renting here for many Chequamegon years to come!

The perfect getaway

Our family absolutely loved this house in the woods! The house was gorgeous and was very clean which is top on my list. It had everything available. We only had to bring groceries. We loved looking out the wall of windows every morning and evening. You couldn’t feel any closer to nature. The house decor was welcoming. We were able to bring our dog which is important to us and when we opened the door there was even a dog bed❤️ It was so peaceful and very hard to leave. It was exactly what we all needed. Thank you for sharing! We hope to come back.

Wonderful experience

The property is fantastic! Quiet and secluded. Beds are in good shape with full bathrooms on each level. Excellent choice for groups with multiple couples. We all had our own level to retire to at the end of the day. My only suggestion is to bring your own pans for stovetop cooking or baking as there isn't a lot available and what is there is pretty worn out. There is a nice firepit outside and plenty of deck space as well as a spacious screened in porch. Hayward is a short drive. We couldn't have booked a better cabin for our weekend fall color getaway.

Wonderful place and great location!

The house had great areas to accommodate three generations. It is near two lakes and just minutes to downtown Hayward. The house was equipped with everything needed for our stay. I would definitely recommend!

ATV trip

This place is amazing! It is clean, spacious and everything is there that you need. We had 4 trucks and trailers with UTVs on them and there was not a parking problem. The beds are all comfortable and plenty of towels. We were 10 adults and the space is great. We used the screened in porch to keep our coolers in at night and everyone sat out there talking about our day. I would highly recommend to anyone. Todd is a great communicator.
