We thought the cabin was clean, roomy, appliances worked well, lots of dishes and cooking utensils. We caught fish off the dock, the kids loved this. The pontoon was awesome. The walk to the beach was not described as well as I wish it would have been. There was a steep gravel hill and quite a distance. Going up the hill involved a stop to rest for the grandparents. One of our group had a difficult time with this. I think it is important to have this more clearly described. The lake is beautiful. Lots of chairs at the beach and the house.

It’s always fun to hear when the kids are catching fish right from the property! We appreciate your comments about the walk to the beach. For future guests, the waterfront is accessed by a nice, wide gravel path rather than a long set of stairs, which is common at many lake homes in the area. We include photos of the path in our listing so guests can see the access before booking. We also allow golf cart access down to the beach, which can be especially helpful for guests with mobility concerns. Thanks again for choosing Sandy’s Beach House. We’d love to have your family back! Our family really enjoyed the property. The house was a great size for our family of 4 (plus a dog) and we liked that we had a boat ready to go on arrival.

Great family getaway!

We stayed here for an extended weekend to celebrate our family Christmas. It is an awesome cabin! The lake view was gorgeous:) We were close enough to town, but far enough to have the upnorth feeling. We can't wait to visit again!!!

Enjoyed our stay. Beach access was further than we expected but the kids enjoyed the water. Spacious living spaces. Very relaxing. Easy check out. Owner reaponed to texts right away to answer questions.

Great weekend away

This is our second year and was another great stay!! We missed the snow but knew it was likely with our dates this year. We will definetly book again. Great view and great space for large family.

Family Getaway

Thank you for a great stay. The place was simply perfect for my husband and me along with our children, their spouses and our dog. There was a lot of space for us to hang just relax. We enjoued the beach and the opportunity to dock our boat. Overall a great stay!

Love Sandy’s beach house!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Sandy’s. Love the location and the cabin itself. Always great fishing! Communication with the host was quick, and no issues. I highly recommend and plan on staying again in the future.

Cabin was nice and view was pretty. A little bit of a downhill walk to beach. Had everything we needed but would be nice to have a washer and dryer. I missed that in the listing but all other amenities as listed. Friends are thinking of booking for their own family gathering after staying with us. Overall a good stay.

Property pics for inside were accurate. It was clean and kitchen had everything one would need. It allowed dogs which was a plus.Outside patio area could have used clean up of weeds, but it did have nice view of lake, as it sat up on hill from lake front.

Renting the cabin/house was very easy with questions answered the same day as asked...the view was good of the lake..the lake was so clean and clear and sunsets were beautiful overlooking the water...

Beach Fun

Great place for the family to relax, play, fish, and boat. The highlight was the awesome sandy beach area. The kids had a great time building in the sand and swimming in the lake. Lovely evening sitting on the patio around the fire pit.
