Great spot overlooking the lake and nature. Not too far from the city. The whole place felt very cozy and the patio was perfect. Everything we could ask for in a secluded getaway.

This was a great house. It sets up above the lake and gives you a beautiful view from the wraparound porch. Nice and peaceful with a great hot tub. I would definitely recommend this property. We will be back.

What an awesome view of the lake! Property was clean and the support we received was fantastic. We hope to come back again! That area Fawnskin was nice and quiet and away from the crazy traffic on routes 38 and 18. The porch was awesome. We loved the hot tub. Would highly recommend.

So this cabin in Big Bear has the absolute best view. The view is amazing. There are a few things to note. To get to the front door is a few flights of wooden stairs. There is a path around to the back door but you might not notice it. Anyone with balance issues, etc.. you definitely should be aware. The driveway is super steep up and down and at the top it’s super narrow so getting out on both sides of the car is sporty. I can’t even imagine this in winter.. there is a parking area. The path from it to the cabin is made up of stones so they’re uneven in places. Same with the path to the back door. Getting the key and getting inside was easy. The temp when we got in was around 80 and I was told AC was not included so open windows and doors and use fans. Except I couldn’t find fans except the ones on the ceiling and one didn’t work. The AC would randomly come on and then set itself to 85.. we just kept everything open. Someone must have cooked with a lot of garlic and onions because we had to get air fresheners. The cabin is super comfy, tho. The living spaces are nice. The beds were not too hard and not too soft. The host provided plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. And coffee, creamer and sweeteners. And the ingredients for s’mores. The deck could use some work. The railings are loose and some boards are rotted so just be aware. And the solar lighting outside didn’t work. For our needs, though, it worked just fine. The hosts were super responsive.

Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.

All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.

No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.

No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.

This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.

We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
