Papa's villa was the most comfortable clean and roomy for our group. The wrap around deck was so relaxing and it was perfect for visiting w family in town. There were plenty of blankets and other amenities that made our stay wonderful.

Great place every activity we planned was within 15 minutes of the cabin. Very quiet at night, pool table clean house well maintained. Highly recommend for a vacation getaway with the family.

Refreshed after a great mountain stay!

A great long weekend fishing and enjoying all the lake activities. Papa's Villa was just the place we needed to come home to every night.

Great location

Cabin is very nice and clean most important allows pets. Some minor upgrades needed but overall a great place. Will book again.

Convenient Cabin by the Summit

We enjoyed our stay at papas villa. There was some communication issues last minute before check in but all was resolved. Amenities were good, pool table was a nice touch for the stay. BBQ worked well and the patio was big. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles. Word of advice, call ahead and ask for floor fans in the summer, it gets hot and they weren’t there when we arrived. No AC, just heat. Also bring paper towels as they only had one roll. Great trip!

It was the perfect Storm of weather, lack of AC and a distant wildfire. The property was decent and clean, but there was no AC, which is sometimes typical of Big Bear. However, it was one of the hottest days in Big Bear, there was no AC only fans and in the evening we did not open the windows due to a distant fire making the air smokey. Needless to say we came home a day early. I wish they had told us no AC but next time I will double check as well. Owner was responsive when emailed and neighborhood was good.

Bad experience

Nice house but when we get in the house it was not ready, House it was very cold we had wait 2-3 hours till heater get worme, We get all sick after we got back, But i give A++ to management they bring extra heater. Also bed Sheets and bed cover was not clean.

Wonderful house, very clean and comfortable. Well stocked with essentials. It was situated in a very quiet neighborhood. Great location, close to the lake, village and Vons. Very convenient location. Very reasonably priced considering all its fine points. I would definitely choose it again.

This place is perfect

This property is perfect. It’s a very nice property which the owners have kept up very well. The property was clean when we arrived, which is key. Most important is the location. This property is walking distance to Snow Summit. So, parking my ski isn’t a problem with this property. Very nice.

Weekend Getaway

The pictures on the website enhance the actual however it is a very nice cabin. We had issues with 2 of the 4 smart TV's but eventually got them working. Please note that this property does NOT have a fully fenced yard. There is a fence on 3 sides but your dogs can easily stray if they are wanderers and not watched carefully. If I didn't want to bring my dogs, I would definitely stay here again however with my dogs this is a No for me in the future.

Great stay

Got checked in and arrived at cabin. Refrigerator was not cooling. Contacted property management and they sent someone within a hour to look. Fridge was toast so they left coolers and ice to keep our groceries cold. Following morning they brought a loaner fridge for us. Cabin was comfy and cozy, comfortable beds. As we were leaving they ask us to wash and dry the bath towels we used. Wash them then tried to dry and the dryer would not heat up. Overall our stay was great beside the couple road bumps.
