The Space:

Aqua Vista, located in the heart of Condado, features a condominium pool and is within a short 10-minute walk to various beaches, water sports, restaurants, and the best scenic walking/running trail in San Juan. If you are looking for a trendy Caribbean urban escape, then this studio is for you.



The studio comfortably sleeps 2 guests in 1 queen bed.



IMPORTANT NOTES:



CONNECTING DOORS: Please note that this unit shares a connecting door with an adjacent unit. Just like a hotel room, there is a double door that locks from both sides.



CHECK-IN PROCESS AND PICTURE ID: Please note that this building's administration requires guests to check-in with the front desk each time they enter the building as well as provide a picture ID. We ask all guests to please cooperate with and comply with the building's rules and employees. 



CHECK-IN 4:00 PM/CHECK-OUT 11:00 AM: Per building administration guidelines, it is requested that all guests follow the designated check-in and check-out times. If you arrive early or have a late departure, you're welcome to store your luggage at the security desk. In the meantime, we recommend exploring the charm of Old San Juan via Uber or enjoying one of the nearby restaurants. Please note that access to building amenities is limited to your check-in/check-out window. Thank you for your understanding!



PARKING NOT INCLUDED



This apartment does not include parking but there is an hourly self-parking 5 minutes walking distance from the building. 



GENERATOR AND WATER BACKUP



The building has a backup generator and water cistern in the case of utility interruptions. 



DAILY CLEANING AND LINEN CHANGES NOT INCLUDED



This apartment does not include daily cleaning or linen changes. Mid-stay cleaning and/or towel or linen changes may be requested at an additional cost and are subject to availability.



POOL AREA AND MAINTENANCE



The pool is cleaned three times a week, but its cleaning is completely controlled by the building’s administration, not by hosts.



Please note that in this area, you’ll find an abandoned bar area near the pool but it is not affiliated with Condado Lagoon Villas and this listing. It is part of an unused section of the neighboring hotel, and neither our administration nor we have control over it.





SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



There is a queen bed that comfortably sleeps 2 adults. Fresh bed linens and towels are included with each stay. There is a full-size closet and a dresser to store clothing and luggage, as well as a balcony with spectacular ocean views.



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.





KITCHENETTE



The studio has a kitchenette with a full-size fridge, two-burner stoves, a full-size microwave, and a sink. The kitchenette includes basic dinnerware, a full set of knives, and a cutting board. 





RENTING A CAR VS. USING UBER



We recommend moving around via Uber if staying within the general San Juan area. Another fun option is to rent electric scooters, which are on every street corner. Note that you will need to use hourly parking if you rent a car. 



 

LOCATION



This apartment is located in Condado Lagoon Villas in San Juan, Puerto Rico. From Condado Lagoon Villas, you will be within walking distance of many dining options and three separate beaches. All of the exciting activities of the San Juan area are a short Uber ride away. This is one of the best urban locations in the entire Caribbean.



Explore the three separate beaches within walking distance. We provide beach chairs and a small cooler to do so. You have La Playa del Perro, El Escambrón, and La Playa de La Laguna, all within an approximate 10-minute stroll away.



Walk or jog the walking trail from Condado Lagoon all the way to Old San Juan. This is a 2-mile adventure with a spectacular view of the Atlantic and delicious places to stop for food or refreshments along the way. Try El Hamberguito for delicious burgers and Ladi's Place for local seafood with a stunning view.  



Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce, a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant, local cuisine with a modern approach located in La Placita.



Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 30-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship. There are many tour options that leave from the San Juan area. 



Chill at the pool! This apartment includes access to the Condado Lagoon pool. There are beach chairs at the pool and there are beach/pool towels in the apartment.

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 2 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
