Had a good stay here and thought it was good value for money, especially with the discounted price. House was clean, nicely set up. WiFi was actually faster than what we have at home which was a nice surprise. I liked the kitchen too, heaps of bench space and good cooktop, cooked proper meals after work.Heating worked well while it was freezing outside at night. Washing machine and cleaning stuff being there helped a lot too. The downside was the neighbour’s dog next door howling during the day, sounded like it was locked alone inside, but besides that we’d happily stay again.

Prior to arrival, you were informed that the originally booked property was unavailable due to maintenance. At that time, we provided options, including a full cancellation with refund or relocation to a nearby property within approximately 300 metres. You reviewed the alternative and confirmed you were happy to proceed.
The property referenced in this review was not the one originally booked, and it appears the comments relate to the alternative accommodation instead. We communicated transparently and did our best to provide a suitable solution in advance of your arrival.

The townhouse was spacious, however when we arrived, the dishwasher had dirty dishes still in it. Ants were on the kitchen bench. The garbage bins were already completely full. A third of a chux dish cloth supplied is not sufficient.

I’m sorry to say this won’t be a positive review, but I feel it’s important to share our experience.Unfortunately, there were a number of issues during our stay:•Toilets were not working properly.•The front door handle was nearly falling off.•The toaster (which appears to be part of a very old coffee machine unit) did not work at all.•The oven was not working.•Circuits kept tripping repeatedly.•There were no basic essentials such as salt and pepper.•Kitchen equipment was lacking — for example, no tongs.•Only one tea towel, one bin bag, and one dishwasher tablet were provided for the entire stay.•The outdoor bin was already full on arrival and smelled terrible.•The clothes line was nearly falling off the wall.•The upstairs shower had an unpleasant smell.•The upstairs carpet felt damaged, almost as if it had been melted.•Towels and bed sheets were very thin and felt old.•The blanket upstairs had a blood stain on it, which was particularly concerning.Overall, the property felt poorly maintained and not adequately prepared for guests. Unfortunately, this significantly impacted our stay and do no think the property is at a standard that should be rented to people

To clarify for future guests, during your stay the only issue raised with us was the downstairs toilet, which we treated as a priority and arranged to have attended the same day, despite it being a long weekend. We remained available throughout your stay to assist further, however no additional concerns were brought to our attention at the time.
Following your departure, the property was fully checked and all facilities, including bathrooms and appliances, were confirmed to be in working order. The oven mentioned is a modern unit with a standard child-lock feature, which we’re always happy to guide guests through if needed.
We also note the property was left in a significantly untidy condition, including displaced bedding, sand throughout the home and excess cleaning required.
We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can resolve anything promptly, that’s exactly what we’re here for.
We also take great care in preparing the property between bookings and your feedback has been noted as part of our ongoing improvements.
