Christa, thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely regret that your stay was impacted by HVAC issues, especially during a hot summer weekend. Comfort is extremely important to us, and we understand how frustrating this situation must have been. When you contacted us the evening of June 20, our team immediately began coordinating with the homeowner and secured an after-hours HVAC technician, who arrived that same night around 10:30 PM. The system was brought back online, and when a second issue occurred, a technician returned promptly to address it again. Following your stay, the entire HVAC unit was fully replaced to ensure this would not happen to future guests. We also want to clarify that we were not aware of any prior recommendation to fully replace the unit before your stay. Once the severity of the issue became clear, steps were taken to implement a long-term solution. We understand this was an inconvenience despite same-day service responses. As outlined in our direct communication, we did offer a refund as a gesture of goodwill, along with a future stay discount. While we respect your decision not to accept it, the offer was made in recognition of the disruption to your stay. Our goal is always to respond quickly, resolve issues, and stand behind our homes. We truly regret that this experience did not reflect the seamless stay we strive to provide.
